Reviews for Chalet Spycher
Review 1:Chalet Spycher is located in the heart of the Swiss Alps, and is a genuine chalet experience. The chalet is well equipped with a modern kitchen and bathroom, and has been furnished in a very tasteful way. While the chalet is located at the end of the road there are good bus, train and cableway links to the area. The views from the chalet are stunning. Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and found it to be a great base to explore this part of Switzerland.
Review 2:The location is brilliant at 1066 meter, it's very close to the cable car station that will take you down to Meiringen, or further up in the mountains. Our landlady Heidi was very friendly and helpful, and offered to drive us when one of the cable cars broke down.
Review 3:This is not an easy property to find.
Review 4:Views from the chalet are stu Mnning. The owner was very welcoming and could not have been more helpful. Only a few minutes walk to the local supermarket. A wonderful place to stay for walking or sightseeing in the locality. Right next to the ski lift.
Review 5:It's not really a bad experience but would have preferred to have 2 toilets for 2 bedroom apt rather than just 1.
Review 6:Well equipped staff and friendly nature of the owner!
Review 7:Absolutely nothing!

Review 10:Location! Price was great! Fully equipped kitchen so we could make allour own food. Comfortable beds! Possibly the best showers (hot water andwater pressure) in all off Europe

Review 17:We liked very much the chalet inside and outside - it gave us feeling of home, the location is wonderfull and comfortable - there is mini shop and a funiculer station nereby - in 5 minutes of walking, and a lot of walkways to hike around there. The view is outstanding. The house is very clean and convenient and fully equipted. The landowner is friendly and pleasant person, it was very nice to meet her. We had wonderful vacation in this place ! I will recommend it to my friends.
Review 18:The Chalet Spycher is different than Chalet Hofstatt, both are in the same premesis as you see in the photograph. The accomodation has two bedrooms. The master bed room is alright in size though with a squeeky double bed with worn off mattress. The second bed room is a small cramped up room. If you are taller than 170 Cms be carefull with the ceiling as the ceiling light may not illuminate you rather electricute you. You are asked to take away your rubbish at the end and dispose it despite paying CHF90 for final cleaning. Though you are on heavily spent holidays but you are required to be quiet in the evenings.
Review 19:Hasliberg area is heavens on earth. Excellent area for tracking, mountain biking, riding and lift chair attractions.
Review 20:Considering we paid 90Sw Fr as a cleaning charge we didn't expected find broken glass from a light fitting in our bed and on the floor when we arrived. Unfortunately we experienced an invasion of wasps in our rooms which the proprietor professed to have had no prior knowledge of. Given the number of dead wasps we saw when we arrived, we found that hard to believe. One of our party was stung twice in the night.
Review 21:Spacious and well appointed two bedroom apartment in a quiet location with views to the Eiger and Monch mountains. A good base for visiting Mt Titlis and the Grindelwald region.
Review 22:Loved it al!
Review 23:The Chalet was very clean and well equipped. The owner was lovely and helpful. The village shop was a short walk and was well stocked. An excellent restaurant (Rest. Ritterstuebli) was minutes away. Excellent location for discovering the surrounding area.
Review 24:Would prefer to have booked using a credit card. It cost alot of moneyto wire the deposit, being charged by the banks at both ends (approx £30all together)
Review 25:Beautiful scenery. The chalet was very clean and the owner friendly andhelpful. Small local shop 2 mins away and had everything you could needfor all meals. Gondola was useful for quickly getting into mountains ordown to Meirengen.
Review 26:We love it all!
Review 27:Location and the interior. Its a house made up of wood. Very nice. Owner is also very friendly
Review 28:The hotel manager take from ass 90 chf for cleaning the rooms
