Reviews for Hotel Azmakhan
Review 1:Stayed three nights but only received toiletries and coffee/ tea once
Review 2:View from balcony , friendly staff although they spoke little English , great breakfast at restaurant across the road at river
Review 3:These are only be silly, but the grouting in the shower needed re doing. It is a shame as if this had been done, value for money, facilities etc, it was excellent.
Review 4:To tell the honest truth we loved everything about it. The stunning location, staff and facilities. The staff where extremely helpful and the room was excellent with plenty of storage space and a lovely balcony over looking the restaurants and lakes. parking was adequate and staff where available to those who needed help with their bags. The swimming pool steps weren't in place I asked about this and the next day they where there. I think it was at the beginning of the season and they had gone for a clean. If you where a light sleeper then you would be better at the back overlooking the pool because in the evening it get louder as we where opposite the wonderful fish restaurants. We loved it and will be back. Breakfast was excellent as well.
Review 5:Staff barely spoke English, so although our blanket was covered in hair from a previous guest, we were not confident that this problem could be resolved and let it slide. This communication barrier also resulted in the housekeeping staff barging in to our room while we were getting ready despite attempts to ask them to come back in 5 minutes. Language barriers may also be the reason that my pre-arrival emails to the hotel inquiring about bus transfers went unanswered. Location was OK. About a 15 minute walk into town, which doesn't sound like a lt but in the 37 degree heat you will not want to make the trek more than once a day. However the Azmakh river is directly across the street and is lovely, clean, and cold.
Review 6:The room was decent - large enough with a nice balcony. The pool area was excellent with good loungers and umbrellas. The wifi worked well and covered the room and pool. Room was well air conditioned. Bathroom was clean and modern although the layout of the shower resulted in wet and messy floors after a shower.
Review 7:Double bed was two singles pushed together, but to be honest a minor fault we were so impressed with the place.
Review 8:Simple but quaint and off the beaten track, surrounded by fantastic restaurants all on (or literally in) the river on it's doorstep...including breakfast each morning surrounded by ducks and fantastic scenery The staff didn't speak any English but were still super friendly and accommodating.
Review 9:The air-conditioning over the bed is bad - should be somewhere else as it hits the sleeper over the head!
Review 10:Lobby wasn't finished but looks great after 15 days
Review 11:Location
Review 12:We had a bit of confusion/minor confrontation when settling our billon leaving. We booked through booking.com and the rate was 90Euros fortwo nights B&B to be paid in local currency on departure. We checkedBooking.com online whist at reception and this came in at 258tl butreception tried to charge us 280tl with no explanation (we did not usemini bar). We eventually paid the online price so suggest you checkbeforehand. Otherwise a very pleasant stay and have recommended thishotel to friends.
Review 13:Loved the location and decor. We had room 111 with huge bed and largebalcony and a distant sea view. However, it is above the road and tendedto be a bit noisy with traffic and some construction work nearby. Lovedthe excellent breakfast with the riverside location but beware that ifyou ask for omelette instead of standard hard boiled egg, this ischarged an additional 5 tl which is not explained. The swimming pool islovely and comfortable wooden loungers. As mentioned in other reviews, the reception staff have little English. The hotel is perfect for astroll into town by day or night.
Review 14:There was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. Wonder if the plumbing needs to be addressed.
Review 15:Staff were friendly and helpful. We challenged their English language skills at times, but they always found someone who could speak enough to help us. Location is about 20 min walk to the beach, we liked this as it meant you were away from the hustle and bustle of the town. There is a hamam, which we didn't use (it was so hot outside anyway) & spa area which are very nice. Well equipped gym.
Review 16:The center of town is quite a walk.
Review 17:The terrace with view and the swimming pool. The hotel is located near a small river with a few very cousy restaurants
Review 18:the hill seems very steep on a hot day but the views more than make up for this.
Review 19:The views are fabulous. It's such a relaxing place to be yet Akyaka is so close by. The breakfasts were fab - feeding the ducks and geese was lovely and the location of the restaurant could not be beaten.
Review 20:Hotel Azmakhan blew us away , The staff are soo friendly , the location is absolutely amazing , the views from the room are out of this world , the Fish restaurant Helil n Yeri located across the street is out of this world with the most amazing atmosphere ever , the pool was so clean and there's nothing that we didnt like about this hotel , definitely recommended
Review 21:The breakfast location is enough to come up with an excuse to stay
