Review 1：Stylish decor, quiet waterside location yet only a short ride from Stockholm centre, friendly staff, catching a boat instead of a taxi into town - outstanding restaurant

Review 2：J hotel is divided into 3 differently located segments which is not obvious when making the reservation. Pictures are showing only the closest to water section.

Review 3：Staff, open bar, location, speedy ferry to the city center, excellent J restaurant near by hotel.

Review 4：Breakfast was excellent! The front desk staff was very helpful! The pub menu in the " living room" was wonderful after a full day of sightseeing. Traveling by ferry to local spots was very convenient and relaxing and just a short walk from the hotel.

Review 6：We had a wonderful time at Hotel J. The staff was very nice and the hotel was exactly as it was promoted on the picture. We also really enjoyed the Restaurant that belongs to the hotel. Public transportation by bus or boat is easy. We booked a room with sea view which was beautiful.

Review 7：No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Those facilities were available in the lobby but at significant cost and in a different building. Significant charge for parking even though the parking area is on the hotel's own property. Staff efficient but not particularly happy.

Review 9：There could be more activities in the hotel itself (e.g. sauna, swimming pool). The price should be a bit lower than 150 eur per night especially if you compare to other four-star hotels outside Stockholm city centre.

Review 10：Beatiful sailing type decoration with extremely comfortable bed & sheets. Very quiet and peaceful location just next to the sea (archipelago). Good hotel restaurant and very tasteful breakfast. Excellent wifi in the room.

The hotel is near enough the City to be easily accessible, and far away enough for one to retreat to the very calm surroundings at the end of the day. There is a classic chic in the nautical theme which runs through the hotel, and I had to think to myself where I was upon waking couple of times. Breakfast was brilliant and wifi connection was good too. Highly recommended, and would absolutely stay again.

Review 18：location , tranquillity, comfort, kindness, excellent tasty breakfast, everything! Felt really like home, inside cosy, outside magnificent view , optimal location as well for a visit of Stockholm, as for a visit to the skärgården; a day trip to Sandham was a great experience!

Review 19：The room had a stale smoke scent (maybe from a previous customer who didn't see the "non smoking room" sign), but we notified the staff and got upgraded immediately to a scent-free and an even more breathtaking room. Just saying: all is perfect, and if it isn't, staff will take care of you ASAP.

Review 23：The free WiFi was slower than one would expect. The connected restaurant J, at an excellent location nearby, is too expensive and the food is not excellent (see review in restaurants). There were few other choices for dinner in the area -walking distance.

Review 24：A very nice hotel, in an excellent location if you do not mind 20'-30' from downtown (by boat, buses or taxi, about the same time). By the lake, near a forest-park. Excellent breakfast in a beautiful side building. Comfortable, clean, reasonable size room and bath. Not all rooms have a view to the lake; the back view is to a forest which is also nice, but not quite the same. The staff is quite friendly and helpful.

Review 30：A very pleasant stay at Hotel J.Staff were most welcoming and helpful and we loved everything about this hotel. We didn't use the restaurant as we have family nearby where we ate. We will be back!

Review 31：We couldn't go to the restaurant J as planned as our booking was mixed up. However, we ate in the lounge and although the menu was very limited due to items being sold out, the vegetable burger, skagen toast and salmon salads were delicious and staff extremely pleasant.

Review 32：We visited with parents from the UK and had a quite new years in a relaxing environment. The sea view room with terrace allowed us a perfect place to watch the fireworks and somewhere we would like to re-visit in summer.

Review 42：The Location is extraordinary - in a suburb of Stockholm, but close to the city centre thanks to the ferry options. A real spot of serenity, for me this was the first hotel where I didn't want to leave after breakfast but just stay the whole day and watch the boats and ships passing by.

Review 44：Hotel J is located just outside Stockholm. It is right next to the sea, and it can easily be reached from the city center by bus (10min), or by boat (40min, but a ride with nice views). The rooms have everything you need, the beds are comfortable, the staff is nice, and the breakfast is complete and absolutely delicious! We are looking forward to staying again at Hotel J.

Review 45：the restaurant is quite a walk from the hotel, which is not quite clear from the literature and makes it hard for someone who can't walk very well. in fact, the hotel itself is quite accessible, although on several levels, because there are slopes and ramps, and even a funicular down to the shore, but this is not immediately clear when you arrive.

Review 110：We were a group of 4 and booked a junior suite with a sleeping sofa, however the latter turned out to be a nightmare - it should not be offered at all as a sleeping facility as the least you can do on this 'sofa bed' is to sleep. The staff reacted positively to our complaint though and rebooked us to two double rooms instead for the further nights.

Review 111：The staff was very friendly and helpful and added to the already cosy and nice atmosphere of the reception/bar area - for the last evening we ordered pizzas and enjoyed the nice surrounding there as it felt as in a private living/dining room. The location and design as well as the area outside is great - only bad luck on our side was the terrible weather with 12 degrees and cold wind in the middle of June so we could hardly make use of the comfy sun chairs. It is not as close to the city to get changed or back to the room more often during the day. On the other hand, it felt good to go to this lovely and peaceful place after exploring the city. We would recommend it anytime.

Review 119：Very quiet, peaceful n relaxing. We arranged for taxi cab to fetch 7 of us to Hotel J n it cost 880SEK. Going back to hotel Cost 830SEK. Advice to buy 24/74hrs pass fm convenience store in airport. If chose to take ferry to town, the hotel reception sells one way ticket @ 36SEK. Ferry to city takes ard 3mins on SL operated ferry. The pier is ard 5 mins stroll fm Hotel. If you prefer to take bus 443 to Slussen, the bus stop is up the hill which is near the pier. It is much faster to get to town via bus 443 or 404.

Review 120：The breakfast is a little bit overrated. Imean, you have all the basic breakfast usual food, but not much.

Review 121：This hotel has high quality standards. All the sheets are made by GANT, a swedish luxury clothing brand of American heritage launched in New Haven in 1949. You feel like you are sleeping on a cloud. Beside this, this hotel location is in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood with sea view and and safe streets. Also you can go to city center with a bus or ferry in about 20 minutes. I recomend you to pay a little extra for the sea view.
