Reviews for Bayberry Inn B&B

Review 1:The house could use some serious updates! The owner spoke to all of the guests but me and my friend. She didn't even remember us from the day before.

Review 2:The young staff was very friendly! Breakfast was delicious!

Review 3:Our hostess(s) was welcoming and comfortably conversant on many subjects. The homemade breakfasts were almost too big. We have plenty of room to spread out ... be it together or alone. The rooms and facilities were well appointed.

Review 4:The B&B was located on a busy street and the traffic was noisy all night. Our room was in the front of the house, a back room would have been better. There was no TV and no cable. We couldn't even watch a movie. Very Disappointing! The hostess also talked about personal things to the guests at Breakfast, inappropriate and too much information. She should keep personal/financial things to herself.

Review 5:The B&B was excellent! It is a 15 minute walk to town. The Innkeeper, Francesca, was friendly and quite talkative. It was extremely hot (105 degrees F) but the house was air conditioned and very comfortable. Coffee was available at 8:00 am and a relaxing veranda overlooking the garden was beautiful. Breakfast was tasty and delicious and served at 9:00 am.

Review 6:There was just a little mix up on our dinner plans but we survived just fine. It was my mistake because I gave them my home phone and so when I returned home there was a message about the dinner plans so I apologize for that!

Review 7:The staff were all amazing and so sweet. My friend and I were so happy to park the car and walk in to town. It was fun to chat with others staying there.

Review 8:Breakfast a little later than convenient for those traveling but I understand the rationale given late eve of guests attending the Shakespeare plays. 8:30 instead of 9AM might be a nice compromise.

Review 9:Great breakfast!! Quiet. Comfy.Congenial innkeeper. Light & airy bedroom.Tastefully decorated.Cool soap!!Yummy cookies. Eve Port & Sherry nice touch.Overall very welcoming.

Review 10:Kitchen available for using. Big roons and bathrooms. Very good atention. The owners are so kind!!!!! I was sick and they give me their natural medicines to heal me!!!! Thank you very much. Is like being at home!!!

Review 11:We loved staying at the Bayberry Inn. The breakfasts were delicious in addition to ample and interesting. Located a brisk 10 minute walk from the theatre and downtown, we were able to leave our car parked for the 3 days we were in Ashland.

Review 12:I didn't like having to leave.

Review 13:The hosts were friendly and interesting to talk to while eating gourmet food. The other guest were stimulating in discussions of plays we each had seen. The walk to the theaters was just about right.

Review 14:Excellent owner and host. Nice walk to theaters. Interesting guests, also interested and there for theater.

Review 15:Charming homey place with yummy breakfasts. The owner is a warm friendly woman

Review 16:Older house - rather musty smelling in closet. Not all rooms have in suite bath.

Review 17:Very friendly, helpful and personable owner.

Review 18:No room darkening shades

Review 19:A pleasant woman who runs the place.
