Review 27：The hotel is marginally accessible. The ramp to the lower level is all rutted out and the sidewalk is completely impassable with benches and plants in the way to the dining/bar area. Walls were paper-thin and I could hear everything going on in the adjacent rooms. I am not sure what that smell was, maybe stale several day old second hand smoke?

The happy hour was amazing the hotel freebies were fantastic, The reclining rocking chair in the room was the best ever! And did I mention the bed was as comfortable as mine at home? Review 40：The whole stay was a very welcome experience. All the staff were fantastic. The Manager, Chad, had a great approach to running a hotel. He wanted everyone to feel comfortable. The complimentary extras, drinks, soft and alcoholic, full breakfast, ices, snacks were a real surprise and welcome. This hotel is an excellent example of how a hotel should be run. Fully recommend it.

Review 49：Pigeons roosted under roof in front of Rm. 249. They defecated on the ledge and on the hallway. I asked housekeeping if it could b cleaned. The staff member I talked to said, "Facilities". The mess was never cleaned. My expectation is the staff member would relay the request to facilities. Staff members at breakfast would not cook any more eggs at 10:20 am. Breakfast is complete at 10"30 am. My expectation is that the entire breakfast menu would be served until 10:30 am.

Review 68：My son lived in Lompoc for a little over 2 years. He was getting ready to deploy. I wanted to stay at a place that would be nice for him. His comment was "I didn't know a hotel like this existed here." I liked the happy hour. The breakfast was nice.

Review 69：The only slight problem we had was a slightly irritating "hum" (as in noise, not smell!) in our room during the night. It sounded like a refrigerator noise but, having unplugged our fridge, we believe it was coming from downstairs somewhere. I think we were in room 236. It was not enough to spoil our stay and when I mentioned it to the reception staff in the morning they couldn't have been more apologetic and said that they would check it out straight away - you can't ask for more than that!

Review 70：On arrival the reception staff were extremely pleasant and helpful (I've never seen so many smiley faces!) Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We then went to the bar area for a complimentary buffet and drinks and spent a wonderful couple of hours chatting to other guests and being served by the delightful "Chipps" (what a lovely lady!) If we are ever in the area of Lompoc again, we would have no hesitation in booking in at O'Cairns again and will definitely be recommending this hotel. Thank you x

Review 72：We were planning to stay in Morro Bay whilst traveling down highway 1 until we found this listing on Booking. Suffice to say, the 1,5 hour extra drive was absolutely worth the added value for money this place delivered compared to most other motels. Breakfast was a cut above other motels we've stayed at - you can ask for a bowl of fresh fruit, and there was some scrambled eggs and bacon. Very comfortable beds, clean rooms, quite area. Very friendly staff. We slept very well.

Review 78：I was set to enjoy O'CAIRNS BECAUSE OTHER people said so many nice things about the place. So my expectations were high. O'Cairns lived up to every expectation and realistic description. Also was charmed by their response to any criticism. Never once were they defensive. In addition we discovered the delightful town of LOMPOC. So refreshing to see the open sky, charming cottages, absence of high rises and a great many options for eateries. We chose dinner at the NIKKA FISH ENTERPRISE. Very sophisticated and delios HUGE portions. Will split next time.

Review 94：No early check-in which causes a back-up at 3:00. People were smoking to close to the public areas and rooms. We thought the vanity light was out, but apparently that was the how the lighting was set-up. It was too dim. Bar is only open during the week.

Review 121：The carpeting and vanity in the room wasn't the cleanest. Likewise, there was not any hot water for morning showers. It was luke warm for about three minutes and then cold. Perhaps it was because several rooms were showering at once, however, I've never experienced this at a hotel.
