Reviews for The Iris Inn

Review 1:The Iris Inn is a true gem, just a few blocks from the theaters, yet nestled on a quiet street. Great value, at least in late October, with excellent breakfasts prepared by Vicky, our friendly and professional hostess. The room was spotless, comfortable, and full of small amenities that increased our comfort. Hosts offer wine in the afternoons, and sherry, port, tea and cookies in the evenings. Couldn't have been better!

Review 2:I found the decor too busy for me, though typical for the area. I would have prefered not to have had to pay quite so much. My schedule made eating their breakfast impossible hence I've nothing to say on that subject.

Review 3:This was a clean, friendly B&B, with a comfortable mattress and happy and efficient staff. It was properly quiet at night. It was not in the middle of Ashland, which I liked, but the middle was only 15minutes away on foot, hence no need for a car to get there.

Review 4:It was a little pricey

Review 5:The breakfast was lovely--crepes homemade. The shared space downstairs was very comfortable. The hostess/owner was very accommodating when I arrived late.

Review 6:Parking best if compact car or on the street for larger cars.

Review 7:Quiet location. Comfortable room and bed. Easy location to visit downtown for a play or dining. Centrally located to visit a few local wineries.

Review 9:What do you get when you combine two wonderful proprietors, a charming home, and a superlative location? The Iris Inn! Add to that a shockingly delicious breakfast each day and a backyard so serene I often forgot where I was, and you have, well, you still have the Iris Inn. It's fabulous! I never need search for a place in Ashland again; it's the Iris Inn for me.

Review 12:everything about the Iris Inn was outstanding. I have good friends who have stayed there for years when they visit Ashland. Until now I'd never been beyond the downstairs parlor. The rooms are lovely, the staff knowledgeable and attentive, and the short walk to downtown Ashland is just the ticket to walk off a delicious B&B breakfast.
