Review 1：It was built as a business hotel for the paper factory and is dated.

Review 2：It was very close to where I needed to be and sits right across form the waterfront. Restaurant is very good. Basic and simple at an inexpensive price.

Review 3：The best thing was how much the manager went out of his way to assist me. He took me with a driver to get a toll card for my car. We had to drive around to two PTT places and he was charming and smiled and kept me calm. I have never been treated so well in a hotel and as a solo female traveller in Turkey, this gave me the confidence for the rest of my trip.I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. All the staff were so helpful and pleasant, from reception to the cleaners and drivers. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. If you are in Izmit stay at this hotel!!! It is on the sea front, there are bikes to hire across the road, shopping outlet just a few kilometres away.

For example, we asked for a carrental after breakfast and the car arrived at hotel after 20 minutes!Also restaurant is good, you can sit in a real garden. And if you wantto look at the euroasian world through tv - there's a 800 channelsavailable... Very nice and enjoyable hotel. Definitely not only 2 stars!
