Review 1：All is dirty: the swiming pool, the outside of the motel, the rooms (2) the blankets, the towels , the carpets,etc. The motel is old and badly maintained. On our trip its the only location we got problems at check in. The breakfast is poor, the very minimum. At 8AM no refill!!

Review 2：Location. The Young woman at the desk, she was very helpfull and friendly.

It is definitely an older school motel that has been updated a bit and the name made me think it was more like a Ramada or something like that. But, it was very clean and the people were friendly and it was totally fine. Not quite what I thought, but I was completely happy anyway.....

Review 9：Pool was full of leaves and water bugs when we arrived, did not appear to be actively filtering. Bed mattress was very worn, both woke up with stiff and sore backs. Waffle machine in breakfast room did not cook waffle all the way--mushy. Towels were the worst I've ever touched, literally just like sandpaper, even blotting oneself dry was not pleasant. Shower tub did not drain well. Hairs in the bathroom and a yellow and stained toilet seat. A/C did not manage well overnight and it became very hot and stuffy.

Review 10：The careful and thoughtful landscaping. The size of the room. The flat screen tv. Quiet hotel. The hot items for breakfast included biscuits and gravy (not for me) but also a sandwich press machine that you can make grilled cheese or jam filled sandwich with.

Review 11：The non smoking room reeked of smoke, the blanket had cigarette burns, neither the bathroom nor the room were clean (hair in the bathroom, dead bugs in the corners and a comb full of dust left on the floor). NOTE: they gave us a 20% discount when we showed them the pictures.

Review 56：The hotel is dirty (there was actually smeared feces on the outside of the toilet), there were no covers on the ceiling light fixtures (exposed bulbs), the shower didn't work properly and would still fill the tub even after the lever was pulled to direct the water to the shower head, and I didn't feel safe there.

Review 65：Never heard the word Discovery until I arrived. Made it very difficultto find the RAMADA.No toiletries in room the first day. Didn't missthem until they showed up for day #2. The tub stayed plugged duringshowering, drained only after I left the room. The following questionasks about Lafayette, one of my favorite cities. It should have askedabout the hotel (Ramada aka Discovery Inn), which I would not recommendunless financially desperate.

Review 66：The non smoking room smelled like someone had smoked in the room. When I complained the sent a maid to spray the room with air freshner. The maid said that no one smoked in that room but the air vents in the room filtered smoke orders from the rooms nearby that were smokeing rooms. The whole week I was there it smelled of ciggerates. Not good! The other thing was their breakfast was of poor quality food. Nothing was kept hot. The attendant sat on her but and watched TV. Not good! I ended up eating out, which put a dent in my budget!

Review 67：It was close to the airport, They provided a shuttle to the airport. They tried to be accomadating when I told them I could not stay in a room that was for smokers. They gave me an upgrade without any more cost to me and placed me in a non smoking room.

Review 73：The rooms smelled very old. The SInk faucet did not work properly. Thecarpet was dirty and sticking. The sheets had thin spots on them. Sothin I could see through them. The refrigerator smelled very bad likeold rotten food. The free breakfast was cold and horrible.

My daughter went down to ask til what time was breakfast served & the lady was very rude!!!!!! Not what u want to hear first thing in the morning 3. Had to change rooms - first room they have us had a very noisy neighbor - a barking dog !!!!! 4. The air conditioning in the room we were moved to didnt work well .. The knob to move it from cold to colder was broken.. So not sure at what temp it was ???

Review 82：The room was not clean, the bed was made and that was all, there was hair in the shower, a used wash clothe hanging over the shower curtain, and if I wasn't extremely tired, having to wake in five hours for a physical and fitness test for my job, I wouldn't have stayed there!
