Reviews for The Cabins at Green Mountain

Review 1:Internet was slow, but we were there to relax, not work!!!

Review 2:Cabins were really nice and in a great location. Perfect for our family get together. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved it!

Review 3:No coffee pot filters, I brought my own brand instead of using what was provided.

Review 4:Great stay, my favorite was the porch. Very kid friendly. Do wish I had asked for ground floor since I had trouble with the stairs.

Review 5:It was very poor lighting outside the cabin and in the parking area. I also wished that the front door had a security bar on it. I have a toddler and there was no way to keep the door locked from the inside. If he pulled the handle it opened. We had to really watch him to keep him from going outside.

Review 6:Loved the location and the cabin itself.

Review 7:I didn't like not having good access to wifi. It was so very sporatic and we had to go to the office to get a good connection.

Review 8:I loved the layout of the cabin and I loved all the convenience it offered. The 5 of us were very comfortable and very happy there.

Review 9:Need better Wi-Fi. Couch and chairs a little uncomfortable.

Review 10:Love the location. Close to strip but away from the hustle and bustle. You feel like you are in the woods. Love it. Will definitely stay here again.

Review 11:I enjoyed your cabins an liked everything about them but haven to clean up upon ck out. I understand being picked up but emptying the trash can and taking the sheets off the bed was a little ridiculous. We were there for vacation not to work like that upon ckout. My mom is 85 and my sister is 67 and not in good able to do all those things. What do you pay your maids for anyway. Next time we will make sure on the rules before we make reservations.

Review 12:Jets did not work in showers and it took foreverrr to get hot water in down stairs bath.they fixed it.That night there was NO HOT WATER AT ALL in the shower.of course they fixed it next day

Review 13:The place is beautiful.Staff wonderful. Close and easy to get to places.

Review 14:No cleaning products to wipe down countertop, etc. if you're staying longer than a week like we did.

Review 15:The screened in patio and layout of the cabin.

Review 16:Loved the privacy of the location. The cabins were great, just like being home, we were able to visit with our friends from Kentucky and go out to Branson if we wanted. The Mon. Breakfast was great, great entertainment, we were sorry to have to go home.

Review 17:Cabin was very spacious, clean and set up for everything we needed. I had to contact the staff once and they responded immediately. I will go there again!

Review 18:While I am not a clean freak, I expect to be able to walk on the floor without my feet being black afterward. The bathroom and kitchen fixtures were clean, but the floor was beyond gross. In addition, the white stain on the blanket for the pull out couch even grossed out my seven-year-old. Everything just needed a deep clean that had not been done in a very, very long time.

Review 19:The cabin was very quaint and the setting couldn't have been more beautiful. The very large screened porch was a major bonus. The space was equipped with everything we needed to have a very nice large family dinner.

Review 20:Checkout was a little early. If we need to be out by 10am that should be plenty early for the cleaning staff to strip the beds take out trash etc. Not us....

Review 21:Location was perfect!

Review 22:This is our 3rd stay in different cabins and each cabin needed SERIOUS housekeeping. Floors, rugs, bathtubs needed cleaning and remnants of other guests hair were on the mattress pads and refuse was under nightstands when pulled out.

Review 23:Secluded but close to attractions.

Review 24:It was inconvenient to have to stripi the beds prior to our departure. The checkout time was too early.

Review 25:The cabins had the feel of being in the country, but were very close to the Branson strip.

Review 26:The location and accomodations were great! The screened in patio was quite nice for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. My 5 year old grandson is used to staying in a condo when we travel. He decided he wants to stay in the cabins from now on!

Review 27:Wifi was in and out. On the last evening and morning of departure had hot water issues. Remote in one bedroom didn't work. Didn't care for the restaurants the staff recommended. Not into all you can eat restaurants more interested in quality food.

Review 28:Quite and peaceful for being so close to everything. Loved the screened in back porch.

Review 29:Ants in kitchen couldn't leave anything on counter, saw this in other reviews so they should spray and fix this problem. Rained really hard one night gas leak in roof in kitchen.

Review 30:Location great, feels like being in woods but right off strip.

Review 31:Loved the coziness of the cabin. Very neat and clean. The screened in back porch with the hot tub was a pleasant surprise, we sat out there every evening to relax and listen to the insects.

Review 32:Everything was excellent. Stayed there four days and wifi would never connect. Our dishwasher didn't work, but we called and they were able to find out that a breaker needed switched and then it worked. Kids loved hot tub and we loved the privacy from neighbors. Once kids were asleep, spouse and I could still talk and socialize with separated levels

Review 33:the only complaint I had was the Bed sheets on the upstairs King bed looked like they had not been changed.. I washed them myself since the unit had a washer and dryer..

Review 34:Loved the privacy and ease of access to attractions. The room decor and size was just perfect. Very clean

Review 35:Air conditioner stopped working but was fixed immediately. Very small pools.

Review 36:Fantastic staff. They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. Very homey and rustic luxury cabin.

Review 37:Beds uncomfortable. Not enough towels. Floors were dirty. TV did not work. WiFi did not work.

Review 38:Had problems with A/C in middle of summer. No urgency on staff to fix.

Review 39:The view and the location was great. Loved the wet weather creek and screened porch. The cabin was close enough to everything but far enough to be "away from its all".

Review 40:Parking was vert tight and difficult at times, and the grills were only at certain locations

Review 41:For family it had good features , the back porch was good,

Review 42:The fact tropical storm bill followed us to town.

Review 43:The cabin itself was perfect for our sleeping needs. It didn't have tons of people going in and out. They gave us recommendations for good places to eat.

Review 44:The location was very private yet close to town. With all the trees it made for a nice wooded and quiet area. Also loved the hot tub since the rain made the pools unavailable. Decor inside was very good!

Review 45:My husband and our five kids went to the cabin. We had a wonderful time. We all had enough room to feel comfortable, and my husband and I had our own big room to ourselves. We would definitely stay again.

Review 46:Absolutely beautiful cabins, well appointed with rustic furnishings. The jetted tub with the rock surround in the master suite was fantastic. Very much a luxurious, rustic getaway

Review 47:We didn't use the stove at all but found the back of the stove where the knobs are, was covered with grease

Review 48:the cabin was very nice two bedrooms with bath with king size beds one upstairs one down

Review 49:Bed was very uncomfortable. This cabin was a little older than the one we stayed in on the first visit. Kitchen was a little dated.

Review 50:Love the cabin feel n the grounds. Feels like you are staying in the woods. Great convenient location. Brought grown children n their kids. Kids loved the cabin.

Review 51:I believe an investment in new mattresses would go a long way on return clientele. For example, we always stay at the Hampton Inn when traveling as we know they have the pillow top beds, giving a comfortable night's rest. We did not use the kitchen as there was an ant problem on the counters and sink.

Review 52:The air didnot work..shower didnt drain..the place was filthy and miserable..we requested our money back and they ended up charging us 200 dollars for things we didn't break but we're accused of..I'm extremely angry with this and plan to follow through with this..

Review 53:The location

Review 54:Would have been helpful to have tin foil, salt and pepper etc. in the kitchen.

Review 55:Loved the beds, closeness to everything but able to avoid the main strip.

Review 56:The wifi in our cabin did not work properly. When it did work the connection was extremely slow. We called to get it fixed and the front desk said they did,but there was no change in the poor connection.

Review 57:The cabins had Plenty of room for my party of 6. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook. The hot tub was perfect on a cold and raining day.

Review 58:Coffee pot should be upgraded to Keurig. Nobody used the old coffee pots anymore. Also wifi wasn't even strong enough to use. Unable to use it.

Review 59:Loved the comfy beds and hot tub! Overall cabin was very cute!

Review 60:Needs a newer television.

Review 61:The location was great for us. Slightly off the beaten path but a short drive to the main attractions. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Better than we expected for a "cabin" style environment. Showers were hot and the heat worked great, considering it was in the 30's outside.

Review 62:No grill near our cabin, even when we called the front office they didn't seem concerned we didn't have one. I even called before we stayed there and ask about a grill and they said there was one close, yeah, but you had to walk to someone else's cabin to use it. And the stove in our cabin cooked on high for the most part no matter what was selected.

Review 63:The location, it was pretty there. We seen the office people when we arrived and they were nice.

Review 64:Could have been cleaner upon arrival, particularly the kitchen. Furnishings due to be replaced.

Review 65:Large space for our family of six. Grandma and Grandpa downstairs. Twin pre-teens in the loft and Mom and Dad in the king suite upstairs. Comfortable for all of us. A great start to our Christmas celebration.

Review 66:Branson local restaurants are poor. We ate at Landrys' (very good), Chili's (also very good for a chain), Mahogany Steak House in Tulsa, (Very Very Good Food and Service, however it's expensive-about $75.00 each), and Lambert's, (very good-leave early to beat the crowd).

Review 67:Location-Location-Location.

Review 68:The beds were not very comfortable and the Wi-Fi only worked about half the time

Review 69:The facility was very nice location was great good ambience good for families Will definitely be back the staff were wonderful and it was a very enjoyable trip

Review 70:Everything!!! I vacation with my Grandchildren often so space is essential. The cabin decor and surroundings gave the quiet serenity of a secluded area. Two bedrooms, kitchen, living and dining rooms offered plenty of space for all six of us. The fireplace and the outdoor hot tub were wonderful extras. And, central to Silver Dollar City and The Landing. We will stay at The Cabins each and every time we visit Branson. I recommend it to everyone. No unpleasant surprises here!!

Review 71:Considering the cabins were somewhat close, the atmosphere was quiet & cozy. Really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings & the closeness to many activities. We plan to return : )

Review 72:The cabin layout left a lot to be desired as far as the bathrooms went. The upstairs one could only be accessed through the bedroom. Also very poor lighting in the family area. Hard to play games.

Review 73:I like the size of the cabin because there were 8 of us. The location was close to everything which was great, but don't be fooled into thinking this is a traditional cabin; it was more like a condo because there were lots of them! Loved the hot tub on the porch! Overall a great experience.

Review 74:The floors and woodwork could have used some deeper cleaning. The back porch was very nice with hot tub but wasn't very clean. Your socks and house shoes got very dirty walking out there. Deeper cleaning needed.

Review 75:We enjoyed the location. Close to shopping and shows. Easy to get to. Cabin was very comfortable. Can't wait to go back.

Review 76:We liked the space and the kitchen. The location was excellent and close to all activities! The bedrooms were nice and the loft was an added bonus for the kids. The kids liked the hiking trail and the hot tub on the back porch was very nice.

Review 77:Not enough dishwasher soap for the stay or laundry soap. Towels only changed out mid-week but we came in on Saturday and left on Wednesday.

Review 78:The cabin was clean, roomy and very comfortable. It rained most of our stay but we enjoyed staying in. The kitchen was equipped to meet our cooking needs but could have used a crock pot. Beds were comfortable and rooms very nice.

Review 79:We liked the option of having a kitchen, dining room, living room and 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If the weather was different, we would have loved spending time in the screened in back porch.

Review 80:that the WiFi did not work I had to go somewhere to do work on my computer Floors were slick and difficult for the two handicap people we had with us The cabin needs more sitting areas in the living room for six people would have liked to have larger rockers and more of them on the back deck

Review 81:people very friendly quiet We got the handicap due to my parents and it was great for them with the first level bedroom/bath hot tub was great Cabins were clean beds comfortable Deck was nice We would like to come back Overall it was a great and relaxing experience

Review 82:Our fireplace went out the first night there. We called it in, but it was never fixed. Considering it got down to 33 degrees it would have been nice to have. And the upstairs water pressure was terrible. It took more than 20 minutes to fill the tub up to use the whirlpool. The front desk could have given a discount for this. However, they did not. It still did not change our minds about this place. It was by far one and the nicest places we have ever stayed out.

Review 83:One of the nicest places we have stayed. Close to everything and yet it feels that it is set away from it all. The beds were so comfortable and we loved the screened in porch. We will stay here again and again.

Review 84:Bed Pillows were lumpy.

Review 85:Location...easy to get everywhere without going through downtown. Lodging...the cabins had great layout...2 baths, screened porch, ceiling fans, well equipped kitchen and laundry all nestled in the woods.

Review 86:I have no complaints about the cabins really enjoyed our stay

Review 87:The cabins were in a great location. We stayed from Monday through Wednesday an enjoyed every min.

Review 88:We did Not have a view of woods which I requested but after some negoitation they found one, They said they did not receive that information from you which I included on email. We ended up with a great cabin. thanks

Review 89:Cabin was great and lcation perfect.

Review 90:The floors and doors creaked which caused a lot of noise. It was especially noticeable during the night and early morning when someone was up.

Review 91:The older two bedroom cabin had plenty of room for the grandparents, adult children, and granddaughter. It was in a great location and was quite comfortable overall.

Review 92:WiFi was spotty.

Review 93:Location was great. Clean, roomy, hot tub was great. Secluded quiet cabin. Wooded view from back porch. Nice little nature trail. Felt right at home.

Review 94:Do not attend the Festiva timeshare they are rude and we almost didn't get the tickets we were promised. We didn't even book the cabin thinking we would do a timeshare. Timeshare was presented to us at checkin and we thought we would check it out. It was a terrible experience. The pool needed to be cleaned but we loved loved loved the cabin!

Review 95:Loved all aspects of the cabin and everything it was equipped with! My family love it!!

Review 96:Floors do not appear to be clean Spaces between the floorboards are simply collectors for dirt and debris.

Review 97:Location is good. Price is fair. Adequately equipped .

Review 98:Would recommend separate staff member to take incoming calls while trying to check in or check out. Both during check in and out, a call was taken and person on other line had multiple questions regarding facility and bookings. Worse on check-in, 3 families waiting in line and lots of incoming calls.

Review 99:Cabin was nice and clean.

Review 100:Upstairs bed had a bug infestation. tree leaning on screened porch and one windy night sounded like the roof was coming down all night.

Review 101:Scenic. Our cabin had a creek running under it. roomy, good size.

Review 102:We had ants around our kitchen sink. There were quite a few and they were pesky. Also the workout facilities are pretty paltry - one treadmill, one bicycle, and one elliptical machine.

Review 103:The screened porch is fabulous and the roominess of the cabin is great to have. Also, the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes.

Review 104:Very few towels and wash rags for a 3 bedroom cabin. The Wi-Fi has a very poor signal.

Review 105:The cabins are located in a quiet area of Branson yet very close to the strip. Great for families as the cabin was very roomy!

Review 106:Old fashioned televisions

Review 107:Convenience, cleanliness, overall cabin, price for a two bedroom

Review 108:Very close parking has little trouble getting out with big vehicle

Review 109:Very nice cabin great accommodations. Enjoyed our stay

Review 110:Location, scenery, comfortable layout of cabin

Review 111:Great location. In the woods right in town

Review 112:Semi private but very close to all activities

Review 113:It was peaceful and comfortable. Decent price and our cabin was absolutely beautiful. Front desk was also helpful and informative.

Review 114:Quality of cabins; nearness to local attractions; Monday A.M. preview of local music shows.

Review 115:Quiet. Location. Everything!

Review 116:Great cabins, great costumer service.

Review 117:None.

Review 118:I love the cabin and woodsy feel of the property. I am an outdoors person and could not stay in a motel.

Review 119:Need more mirrors!

Review 120:Good location in Branson. Great cabin. Modern and rustic at the same time.

Review 121:the water running by the cabin, very relaxing, screened in porch.

Review 122:floors squeak and woke up baby when people walked in night

Review 123:the decor

Review 124:The Wifi was horrible. The pools are small but nice.

Review 125:Awesome Cabin. Great space to spread out.

Review 126:The location was great and the cabin was very comfortable
