Review 1：This place is for 2-3 days max of pampering, dining, wining and maybe a 2hr bath. You have to leave the kids at home for this one and try to stay in the house to get the full "mansion experience". My wife and I go on Valentines day.... there's no place better for a truly high end New England retreat.

Review 4：Just can't place it, but wasn't cosy, all areas in main hotel were v small so felt like you were pretty much 'in reception' unless eating. TV on in beautiful bar was a def no no! And being handed a coffee in a take out cup whilst waiting for a table at breakfast wasn't very lovely!

Review 7：Staff was so friendly. The harbor house room with a view of the bay and with a lovely gas fireplace was terrific. Jacuzzi bath great after a long night of dancing at a wedding. lobster hash at breakfast was delicious!
Review 8：Beautiful place, great room, nice staff, but paying around a thousand a night to share the experience with a mob was not what I expected. They're trying to have it both ways: high end exclusivity combined with an add on bar scene to bring in the crowds. Doesn't work for me.
