Review 2：Mangalia is not really suitable for a longer beach holiday stay due to nearby industrial harbour (and sometimes smell), but for a few days with excursions in the vicinity it is OK. The beach itself is fine.

Review 4：Pretul pe noapte este, totusi, cam mare (in jur de 85 de euro pe o camera double, cu vedere la mare), si fara sa aiba micul dejun inclus (poti plati separat, 25 de lei persoana pt micul dejun - bine ales si frumos servit, destul de variat - poti alege intre 4 sau 5 optiuni, dar si asa cam scump. O varianta mai convenabila este sa mananci la terasa din apropiere, cu preturi convenabile si meniu ok). In camera ar trebui plasat si un cos de gunoi, nu doar in baie. In baie, podeaua din zona dusului nefiind inclinata, apa nu prea se duce si ramane adunata, ceea ce nu este prea placut. In plus, dusul este fix si nici asta nu este prea placut, dar se poate supravietui :).
Review 5：Pozitionarea hotelului este foarte buna, desi plaja si marea se vad partial, din cauza copacilor de pe faleza (mai mult "tree view" decat "sea view" :) ). Personalul este foarte amabil, fara exceptie. Curatenia este exemplara, se intra zilnic in camera, prosoapele sunt schimbate tot zilnic (noi am stat doar 2 nopti). Hotelul este cochet, se remarca atentia la detalii in ceea ce priveste mobilarea/accesorizarea/decorarea. Camerele sunt micute, dar cochete si ok. Gresia din baie si mozaicul sunt superbe.

Review 7：I stayed one week in the Solymar hotel .The room was great big very nice furnished did had heat a greaat view on the sea side . The staff personal were very friendly and helpfull and the room very clean. I could relax in silence and had a very nice experience.

Sper ca la vara cand am sa revin pentru a petrece un sejur sa gasesc aceleasi conditii bune. Nota reflecta calitatea serviciilor. Felicitari tineti-o tot asa! I want to point out the cleanliness of the room, the warmth in the hotel, staff very efficient and sauna area! I hope that this summer when I come back to find the same good conditions. Review 10：hi i am a Mexican who had recently the wise idea of staying at the solymar hotel, I liked EVERYTHING, from the warm welcome to my Spanish language, the excellent care and service staff and hotel, personalized attention brotherly and friendly to their owners good friends Razvan and Alina who made me feel at home
Review 11：The add said that it was 33 meters or so to the beach so you think that it is on the beach when reality it is on a hill so the 33 meters is down a flight of steps.

They didn't guide the parking area. This hotel is worse than motel. And I don't understand why this hotel has 8.7 grade. Anyway, I will not go there any more.

Review 15：The view over the city is not really appealing. If you have the chance to book a room with sea view then go for it. It is worth! Though every room has the same quality. Regardless of the view the hotel is very nice.

Review 17：There is no restaurant in the hotel and no breakfast included. The rooms themselves were rather small, and more problematically there was no chair you could use to sit at the desk.

It was too cold to go to the beach, but the hotel looked reasonably close to the sea, and it was also close to the city center.

Watch out the restaurant nearby called Casino , they will charge excessive prices for the meal , prices menu does not match to the bill ( 20£ for a chicken leg and vegetables !!)
