Review 1：Front desk person seemed like she had woke up on the wrong side of the bed, for her entire life. Never hurts to be hospitable in the hospitality industry.

Review 2：Location was easy, if just passing through. Room was adequate and clean enough, for your standard motel experience.

Review 9：I've stayed in Ashland many times, but this was the first time at this motel. I was surprised at how well appointed the rooms were for a very modest price. It was a quick overnight stop to see a play on the way home from farther north, and a very convenient location.

Review 10：The alarm clock made buzzing noise every hour or so. I unplugged it in the middle of the night to make it stop. The bathroom door stuck when closed. Breakfast was served from 7-10 but most was gone by 9am.

Review 11：Check in was super quick and easy. The young lady was also very helpful and friendly when I needed a bottle opener. The refrigerator and microwave were an unexpected bonus.

Review 12：Very basic as in no style. Parking can be tight which may be because there's a restaurat with bar and entertainment that shares the property. If you come in late you may not get to park near your room.

Review 13：Location very convenient to hwy 5 and business I had 5 miles south of town. Clean with comfortable bed. All the basics. Closed to restaurants, rite aid & grocery.

Review 14：Linens were not changed, nor beds made. Key did not work when we returned to our room in the evening. Breakfast not ready and office door locked at 7:00 a.m. as posted. We asked for a non smoking room but were given a smoking room. After an hour had to tequest a toom change because of respiratory problems.

Review 15：Overall the experience was pretty good. The bed wasn't very comfortable, and they only gave us 3 dinky pillows for a king bed. When requested, they gave us another pillow with a smile.

Review 17：It was so nice to sleep in a room that was fresh and clean - no residual smells in the bedding, no bathroom mold. No squeaks or "drum beats" in the cooling system. At this price, I expected a lot less.

Review 29：Although the free breakfast area was very small, it was not crowded when we were there. Nice to have a fresh banana to go with the raisin bran. The cranberry and orange juices were fine. Beds were comfortable, and the bathroom had been refinished and was clean and attractive in appearance. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was painless.

Review 30：There was water on the floor in the bathroom. At first we assumed it must have just been poor housekeeping and we cleaned it up ourselves. Later that night, when we woke up sweating, we realized the AC was broken. We spent literally hours trying to fix it because they have no night attendant and we didn't want to wake up others. By the next morning, we realized there was more water on the bathroom floor and the room smelled horribly of old urine. When I went to discuss the problems we'd had with the owner, after getting maybe 3 hours of sleep, she offered me a 5% discount- that's a whole $4! I went back to my room, packed up, and swore to never go back. We ended up spending a few more dollars the next night at a nicer hotel just to ensure we got a good night's sleep.

Review 31：The room itself is pretty standard for a cheap motel- nothing fancy, but if all you need is a shower and a bed then that's what they have.

Review 32：Pretty run down place. Drapes were ratty; made me wonder about the overall cleanliness and upkeep. Pillows were tiny; had to ask for two more. Just the barest amenities.

I consider this falseadvertising. The tv stopped working, and I had to get motel staff fixit; it took 3 of them. The continental breakfast was poor; the coffeewas almost always empty. The room key sometimes did not work; I noticedother guests having the same problem trying to enter their room. I willnever stay there ever again, nor would I recommend it to friends. Therewere several other motels in the same area. If getting reservations hadbeen easier, I would have switched motels during my stay. I used to be ateacher; I would definitely assign a failing grade to this motel.
