Review 1:Bathroom was dirty--tub didn't drain when you showered so you were in 4 " of dirty water. No information on TV, where to get ice, or food. Not a picture of unit that we were assigned.
Review 2:Check in lasted about 45 minutes with 40 of those standing in line. Once I got up to the counter the lady at the counter was not friendly and didn't even give me directions to where our room was located. When I was passed onto the welcome kiosk, the guy found out I was under 28 and that he couldn't sell me anything and was very rude. Overall the resort looks nice, however we had a king size room for one night was in a shady building in the back with no lighting. When we entered the room it was very outdated, the lamp was falling off the wall and overall it was not clean. The icing on the cake was when we went to shut the door I pushed on it will all my weight and it wouldn't latch shut. The chain lock was even falling off. We decided to stick it out, but when our tv didn't work either I called the front desk and was put on hold for 5 minutes. We then drove up to the front desk and offered to pay to upgrade rooms and was told no since we were only spending one night. They ended up moving us the room next to our original room which upon entering the lights would not work. At that point I was beyond mad. Went back up to the front desk and was treated rudely so I asked for a refund. Since I booked online I had to call booking.com which took forever and the consultant told me there was nothing she could do because westgate wouldn't answer their corporate phone. At that point I had been sitting at the front desk for over an hour. Until my pregnancy hormones came out, the manager at the front desk did nothing. At that point a new room "magically" appeared and we were moved. Still a king size room but overall cleanliness was poor.
Review 3:The room was old and outdated, had some issues. Small things. The pool table that they charged to use, was unlevel, had bad rails and the felt was torn in several places and worn out.

Review 8:Stayed for 2 nights this time in just a regular double room. Double rooms are as to be expected with the price, nothing real special just a clean comfortable stay. That's all my family really needs anyway on trips to Branson because we are only there to sleep anyway with all there is to do in Branson. We Love Drafts Sports Bar and the 10% discount guest receive! Will be staying again real soon!
Review 9:The walls were VERY thin you could hear everything going on in other room. One night I woke up because I could hear the people next door snoring!

Review 11:Staff was unfriendly, I paid over $100 for this hotel. The pictures arevery deceiving so you can't go by the pictures. We booked a KingRoom, there weren't that many people there from the weekend that wewere in branson but they put us in the corner of a building facing thewoods and it was eerie feeling.. The main building is very nice, so imsure that where the pictures came form. The room was a wreck, chew spiton the Air Conditioner. Could tell they fixed a hole in the wall butnever painted over it. Not sure if the room was painted at all ingeneral. Honestly, was scared to sleep under the covers so we went toWal-Mart to buy some cheap covers to sleep under. Floor's neededcleaned. Would never stay here again. I've stayed in cheaper roomsin branson, but was wanting to splurge a bit with my girlfriend and gotthis. Highly disappointed.

Review 18:The unit we stayed in was dirty. There was mold on the shower curtin and dirt on the carpet. The bathroom was very dated and dirty. Finding the unit wasn't easy as there was no identification of the unit from the parking lot. The sliding door to the unit didn't lock properly.

Review 22:Need to replace broken blinds, people on the other side of the gulley watching every move from their vantage point, had to turn out the lights to have privacy. Asked for ground floor suite two month's in advance and practically had to beg to get it. I have been there three times and I don't want to buy any property, but they insist that you listen to the spiel anyway, just want to enjoy the room without sales pitches.

Review 33:The first room we went in to smelled of mold and mildew and you could tell the staff had not cleaned it. We got moved to another room which was okay. The general store on site is way over priced. They do not have breakfast which is sad for the price you have to pay to stay there.

Review 43:Broken faucet, other small things BUT the CARPET was SO DIRTY that our FEET literally were moderately BLACK. At first we thought maybe it was running out to the car on the blacktop. Sp we cleaned our feet, stayed inside but our feet were making black smudges on the white tile in the bathroom, on the shower mat, ect. We were horrified. I'd think a nice facility like this would clean the carpets every month or two. This was like it hadn't been cleaned in 2-3 years. I've stayed in a few Motel 6/Super 8s in my days and they were much cleaner than this room. PLEASE take note Westgate Branson!!

Review 45:They offer you a "free" breakfast, 2night/3day "free" vacation and a "free" travel book for listening to a 90 minute program on buying a timeshare with no obligation to buy! 21/2 hours later I finally just got up and left! No vacation, no travel book and didn't even get my $20 deposit back. They were rude and very pushy about buying into there timeshares and wouldn't take no for an answer!
Review 46:I didn't like that Westgate had to also charge our credit card forlodging since booking.com didn't forward our reservationinformation. Now I have two room charges against my credit card with themistake that booking.com did by not forwarding our reservationinformation to Westgate.

Review 48:I was lied to online about the breakfast being included for the roomprice. Very slow check-in process!!! We had ants in our room, includingin the bedding, you couldn't have a drink in the room or foodbecause the ants were getting in it. Advised the registration person atcheck out.

Review 56:The double queen rooms we were given at first both smelled terrible,like something dying in the room and the staff's response was"I figured we could do something to ruin your day but in ourdefense, that's the room cleaners fault." Theblanket on our bed had a gross looking stain under the sheet and thepillows were like two rolled up pairs of jeans in a sack. The showerhead made this awful screeching sound and the tv was on the same switchas the lights. It took us over 30 minutes just to check in and that waswithout any problems?

Review 68:It is a good thing we got a great deal on the nightly rate. If we had paid full price, it would not have been worth it. The space we stayed in resembled a bad summer camp facility that had been built in the '70s and never been cared for or updated.
Review 69:Upon checking into our room, it was obvious that the room had not beenthoroughly cleaned, the carpets were not clean, the linens on the bedwere not tucked, there was a woman's fake nail in the center of thebathroom floor, the exhaust did not work, and room smelled of heavymold. The tv remote was missing its back and was sticky... Just wasdirty all around. We requested to be moved to another room, front deskstaff was accommodating and was able to switch rooms. Unfortunately, thenew room was directly below the first and smelled of mold as well. Aftergetting settled in again, we realized the air conditioner was notworking and had to contact maintenance. They were quick to respond anreplace the unit @ 11:00 P.M. We checked out the next morning due to notbeing able to stay the additional planned night with the mold condition.$100.00 per night is an excessive rate for this room. There was notapologies by management for the inconveniences... We had stayed herebefore in a different building with no issues. After this stay, I wouldnot recommend to anyone under these conditions. When checking out, andasked how our stay was, we explained our concerns and was told that thebuilding/rooms we stayed in were the cheapest rooms and that therewas not as much attention to them as the other buildings/rooms. Verydisappointing...
Review 70:When we had been moved to our second room... The staff was quick torespond to the air conditioner that was not working... The maintenancestaff was quick to determine that the air unit was not fixable. And theyreplaced the unit. Front desk staff was friendly and quick to send outmaintenance.

After trying to check into 2 different rooms that were filthy and had bugs, we finally complained loud enough in the lobby that they gave us our money back. Other people were in teh lobby complaining about the same things. Will never stay here or recommend it to anyone else either.

When we tried to voice our complaint to herboss, we had to wait an additional 30 minutes, and then we'rebasically blown off as "oh well - get over it"!! Very poorcustomer service as far as we were concerned. A "It won't takemore than 30 minutes.", to "This is a 90 minutepresentation.", to leaving nearly 4hrs later was a ridiculous wasteof our time for our vacation!!
Review 74:Our Room was very nice, but for the price, there should not have beenmouse droppings in the kitchen, stains on the towels or hair on thebathroom floir!! Most of the staff was great, however the sales pitchpeople were jerks!

Review 78:Everyone was friendly when we checked out. They were helpful and polite. We upgraded from a regular queen room to a 1 bedroom villa which we were very happy we did. It was spacious enough for us and our 2 boys.

Review 83:Westgate did not have my reservation on arrival. They moved me to a room that was not what I had reserved or even close . I ask for a refund. They said they could only refund me two nights,instead of three, because of 48 hours cancelation policy. They didn't have my reservation so therefore this statement made no sense. They then proceeded to blamed it on booking.com, but the fact is booking.com are the ones that took care of the situation and had customer service.

Review 85:When I booked the trip, I thought that I would be staying in the building that is pictured. That is for VIPs. We stayed in building 6 which is motel like in the entrance and a no frills room. Very disappointed and so was my son who though we would stay in the building pictured.
Review 86:The wifi was pretty much nonexistent and the one way road leading to our unit was terribly narrow. Also, we were not a big fan of the Draft pub there, the service was terrible. We got there at 10:40, the brochure said it was open until 11:30 but in reality it was open until 11. There were four of us in our party and three of our orders were wrong, when called to our servers attention we were informed the fryer was shut off because they were closing, Then they only fixed one of the three meals in error.

Review 97:I should have realized this wasn't the place I thought it was when each time I was at the front desk someone was complaining. Reserved a non-smoking room which smelled like someone just lit a cigarette in there. Contacted the front desk and the clerk could have cared less. No apologies, no offer to move us to a different room... Nothing. I asked him to at least make a note of it on my room so I didn't get charged for it. Went to check out the next morning and found that the first person never made the note on my room. The 2nd person was more pleasant,but still no apology or offer to try to make it right. The room was dingy, hair was left in the shower. Needless to say we will not be returning.
Review 98:This place looks so nice and inviting from the outside. It's set in a largely wooded area still in the middle of Branson but gives you the impression that you're secluded from the city.
Review 99:This was our first and last time staying at Westgate Hotel. The room was extremely dirty. Black gunk was on the bottom of our feet which tracked from the carpet to the tile. There was hair all over the tile floors. Trash and left over clothes from previous guest behind the dresser. The dust was horrible and we all have allergies. I didn't even bother complaining as this would have probably made our stay worse. I took it upon myself to dust the entire room, even took the lamp shades off and washed them in the sink. I believe housekeeping just replaces towels and empties trash. The carpet didn't even get vacuumed. The dirtest hotel room I have ever stayed in! In my opinion I believe this resort focuses their main attention and detail to the time share cabin customers.
Review 100:The front desk staff was extremely nice upon check in. The outdoor pool was nice and the complex is gated with security. A lot of activities on site.
Review 101:Our room was not cleaned from previous people. Stuff was still in the refrigerator, bath tub was not cleaned and had hair accumulated on the drain, towels and water bottles under the edge of both beds. After two calls to house cleaning the first night the problem was not fixed. After four calls to house cleaning the second day and speaking with two managers we checked out early with a refund. Nobody seemed to care about correcting any problems.

Review 106:We did not receive the room that was advertised on Booking.com. The resort said it was the fault of the site, not them. We were in a tiny cramped hotel room style villa where we could hear every word of the family next to us. Not to mention that the room was not made up the entire 4 nights we were there, they did not even come for the trash. In addition, the bed was so hard we barely slept.

We were especially extremely disappointed when we wereasked the same night we checked in to the resort( which took over a Halfhour)if we were interested in a "90 minute tour of the resort, afree breakfast which was awlful hard biscuits with gravy, fruit cup andsoggy French toast. This also included the resorts activities andamenities", but it turned out to be a 2.5 hour talk, short tour ofmostly the most expensive, executive suites, we did a very quick look atthe outdoor pool and game room. After getting back to the building wherewe had the awful breakfast we were hounded and harrssed because wedidn't want to invest in a very expensive time share!!! The firstprice they showed us was $150,000 which was a 4 bedroom condo!! It waslike buying a house!! Plus you have to pay for taxes, insurance andmaintenance fees! Who would decide to buy something that expensive inonly two hours!! Plus it was very crowded and loud in the room we werein that we couldn't hear the two guys talk very well. The youngerguy drew on a piece of paper as he explained the details and at the endit was a huge scribble mess! They had us all eat outside because it wasso crowded inside but it was so humid out it wasn't comfortable! Myhusband had asked nicely if we could "hurry this up a little"so we could start our vacation. The host accused my husband of"telling him how to do his job and got up from the table and walkedback to his office. He just left our family including our 3 kids sittingthere wondering how we are going to get out of there and get ourdiscounted tickets to 2 shows they promised us for doing there dumb timeshare. I finally had to get up and find another staff member who wasextremely nice and show us what desk to go to. That man should have beenfired on the spot for how he treated us!!!!! Never again!!!!
Review 109:We liked the location, the outdoor pool,exercise room and the outdoortrail with the waterfall. Our family are outdoor people so we are notfussy with a real fancy room with leather couches and a big screen tv.
Review 110:The rooms were very old and shabby. They were very small and outdated. If I hadn't gotten a deal on booking.com I would have been very upset. There is no way I would pay $300 for the room that is more like a basic $50 motel room.

Review 113:Had to pay 170 for pet plus 100 deposit for pet. Booked thru booking.com, so came as a complete surprise. I had to clean the room when we got there (filthy) had to go buy Lysol. I left it cleaner than when I got there and they did not give me the whole 100 deposit back???? They would not leave coffee or cups, had to call the office and request each day. Not happy

Review 116:It is a Time-share trap!! We were put up in the old dated and nasty motel building... They made us sit through a 3hr time-share tour which included a tour of the high rise luxury suites. When we didn't buy into a time share, our room was not cleared the next 2 remaining days of our stay. We had to call for towels when we returned to the room.

Review 120:Being placed in another building beside the picture of the,main hotel. This building was where they parked about, 15 to 20 of there maintenance vehicles, and was what I saw whenever leaving my room. A little decieved.

Review 122:Yhe main facilities were very nice. Our rooms were old and the bathrooms were in need of updating. Carpet needed to be cleaned in our rooms.

Review 126:We are Westgate owners. however, we registered as "guests"...due to complications trying to find a hotel on the date needed. We were housed in room 120 (villa?)...it was very outdated (circa 1970s)...beds were high and uncomfortable, drafty AC, housekeeping was not done on 2 of the nights stay (2 out of 4). I wondered why I am an owner and if this is the way my unit is kept in Florida, I can see why I can't sell my timeshare! Maybe the rest of the facility was fine, but we were not satisfied.
Review 127:I did not like when we booked our room they showed a picture of a very nice room. When we got there it was a very dirty nasty room and charged us for an upgrade. Not very nice to trick people. Give them what they think they are paying for. You need to change the pictures on the Internet.

Review 129:When we first arrived, the attendant acted like we were bothering him checking in even though we were the only ones there. We stayed three nights, our room was not cleaned one day while we were there until I called. When I finally got an answer, a woman brought clean towels and vacuumed. Sinks, toilet, bathroom, shower were not cleaned. I told her this was unacceptable and she just stood there. Unacceptable!! We have stayed here three times, but this was our last. Very disappointed. Our air conditioner leaked all the way through our carpet, a man came to look at it, and told us it was normal. Seriously??
Review 130:The pool area with family activities was awesome! The pizza and the ice cream on site were great, too.
Review 131:This place is filthy. 1st room had dirty sheets, they moved us to a new room and we had to call to have bathtub cleaned. After it was cleaned my daughter showered and went to dry off and found dirty towel where clean towels should have been. rooms smelled damp and musty. Cancelled remaining days at moved hotels!
Review 132:Staff locked up some of the things early . They also need more hot tubs .. It was so busy we never got a chance to use it .
