Reviews for Quail Park Lodge- A Canyons Collection Property
Review 1:Loved the 60's vibe of the Quail Park Lodge. Comfy bed. Nice staff. Beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend dinner at Sego across the street! Great stop-over if you're on your way to the Grand Canyon. Excellent value for money.
Review 2:Opps wrote it all above!
Review 3:It's a nice clean place, glad the bed was against the too bright turquoise wall, that's just me, not into the crazy colors. Need curtains, light from outside kind of annoying. All in all I enjoy your places, have stayed with you 3-4 times. Will be back!
Review 4:The room showed its age, but was well appointed. Location near the highway was a bit of a concern, but we slept well, so I guess it didn't bother us too much.
Review 5:The breakfast, served across the street at a "sister" hotel, was beyond belief. Scrambled eggs, grilled veggies, biscuits and gravy, waffles, all served by a staff that takes pride in what they do.
Review 6:We weren't really into the style of the free breakfast. Several lodges are served breakfast at one location. Food not the best and just too crowded for our tastes, but it was free, so that is something.
Review 7:Clean retro centrally located hotel with friendly staff.
Review 8:Motel is situated on main road, with rooms facing onto it. There may have been some road noise at night but with the air con on, I did not hear a thing, had the best couple of nights sleep for a long time.
Review 9:Proximity to Zion National Park, Room good size, beds very comfortable, and clean. Breakfast at sister hotel across road excellent.
Review 10:The parking was a little cramped. The outside of building is misleading as to the interior comfort and style.
Review 11:The room was updated, clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly, personable, and funny.
Review 12:The room was small for the 6 of us. The sofa opens to a narrow bad.
Review 13:Staff is kind. Breakfast in another hotel (accross the road) was good. Kanab is a nice quite place.
Review 14:It is an older Motel that has been updated and remodeled. A little scary when you drive up because you see these dated places and most are not clean and are run down. Not this one. Pleasantly supprised.
Review 15:Very clean and well appointed.
Review 16:Location of our room was too close to HW89 (about 3 meters). AC was so loud that we couldn't use it, and couldn't sleep.
Review 17:Nice complimentary breakfast.
Review 18:Old 60's motel that has had attempts at remodel, rooms too small for furniture, a little claustrophobic for our taste, needed cleaning for the most part due to pet odors, dogs would have been right at home if we owned one.
Review 19:The bathroom had older accommodations that didn't work well. No fan. The sink took a long time to drain and the shower was finicky.
Review 20:Bette was the best, a stereotypical "perfect" grandmother, who was very welcoming.
Review 21:It was a little hotel that was connected to one across the street (where we had to go for breakfast). Guy behind the desk was very deadpan and didn't act like he wanted to be there. Office not always attended.
Review 22:The location was convenient for our travel, coming from Pipe Spring National Monument on our way to Page, AZ for a tour of Upper Antelope Canyon. The decor was cool.
Review 23:That you had to go downtown to do any laundry.
Review 24:Having bikes to ride. The best way to get around and see the town. The Grand Canyon Inn had a nice breakfast and the best coffee we ever had. Great staff at both places!!
Review 25:Two queen sized comfy beds, free WiFi, desk, frig, microwave, coffee maker, robes... quiet. A little expensive I thought but not ridiculous. Breakfast is included but is across the street and north just a bit in "sister" property. Good choices. Would stay here again.
Review 26:When we pulled up I was a little concerned as the property looked dated but after talking to the manager, I came to understand this was the look they were going for. The room was thoroughly modern and nicely decorated with all of the amenities one would expect from a mid-priced property. The pool and deck area were nice and the deck also has a fire pit to enjoy while drinking a cold one and watching the sun set. As an added bonus, the property offers their guests free use of bikes to tour the town of Kanab.
Review 27:Water drained slowly from bathtub. 1 single serve coffee in the room for 2 people. Betty at desk didn't know where to find more.c
Review 28:Comfortable bed. Great breakfast
Review 29:The air conditioner did not come close to keeping the temperature in the room comfortable. We had to leave in the afternoon and go for a drive to stay cool. For the price of this room I expected to be able to relax and not deal with heat. The caulking job in the bathroom shows the tile job wasn't done by anyone that knows what they were doing. And again, for the money spent on this room I was surprised to see that.
Review 30:The people.
Review 31:They had ice water and coffee in the lobby available all day long. There was even some fruit and yogurt available at any time. There were bicycles outside to use for free to go for a bike ride around the beautiful, unique town.
Review 32:Probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Very clean, plenty of space, and amazing breakfast. Kanab is a great little town that's in the middle of all of the Southwest's natural beauty!
Review 33:Door opens to a forecourt close to the street. No one was there when we arrived despite ringing the bell. Crossed the street next morning for breakfast at the sister hotel to find a decent buffet but plastic knives and forks and styrofoam coffee cups. Would not recommend!
Review 34:Not much
Review 35:The bathroom was really small, with old tile on the floor and bathtub and a door that was difficult to close. The sink was cool, but the whole bathroom could probably use an upgrade.
Review 36:The room was comfortable, and had enough room for a pack-n-play for your 1 yr old. The pack-n-play was provided by the hotel, which was nice. The continental breakfast was great, staff was friendly, I would stay here again.
Review 37:none
Review 38:very well appointed room, great bed, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, direct tv. Located in a very beautiful little town. Breakfast was the best!
Review 39:Pretty much everything. Stayed here twice in a month! Second time the wifi was weak based on the room location but otherwise everything was really great. Would absolutely stay here again!
Review 40:Room way too small for the Kingsize bed in it. Room wasn't cleaned after first day because room attendant didn't have key. Motel ice machine broken. Pet fee was $10 per day, while many places are free for pets.
Review 41:Room was cute, had microwave and fridge, free wifi. Free breakfast was very good.
Review 42:I loved the décor. It was by far the nicest decorating I have ever seen at a motel. The breakfast was great and the staff were very nice and helpful.
Review 43:Noisy heater but after switching off the room stayed warm and blankets very cosy during our winter stay.
Review 44:This property was fantastic! I would highly recommend staying here.
Review 45:It was much farther from Zion Nat'l Park than I had expected. Better to stay in Springdale.
Review 46:The breakfast was across the street at the very elegant Victorian Inn and was very good. The decor in the room was surprisingly artistic despite the old style motel layout. The bed was super comfortable.
Review 47:Very clean, kitsch interior. Looks like any other motel on outside. Quality bedding nice bathroom. A good spot to rest on the way to the North Rim. I recommend it.
Review 48:That it was an "old school" motor court lodge re-vamped and retro! Loved the swimming pool and the fire pit overlooking the beauty of the mountains! The host remembered that I had mentioned that it was our 33rd wedding anniversary and she had a beautiful note in our room with a delicious bottle of wine! That was so thoughtful!! We were treated very well and will return again!
Review 49:My room was located right next to the hotels laundry room, thin walls did not help with sleeping well. Should be fine otherwise.
Review 50:Had a clean, spacious room, new rooms, new bathroom.
Review 51:It was on the main road, poorly furnished, the pool was adjacent the pavement, facilities were poor.
Review 52:The motel was completely mid represented on the Internet and was the worst accommodation of our holiday to date. Having coffee and cake in the general office without a table was a joke!!!
Review 53:Nothing not to like really but tea/ coffee facilities would have been nice in the room. It was available however in the reception area as was a few snacks for breakfast.
Review 54:Nice clean room Enjoyed the pool and its location to Grand Canyon and National Parks. Pleasant staff.
Review 55:Expensive. Pool in carpark next to road.
Review 56:Nice decor. Comfortable. Good coffee. Reasonable cold continental breakfast included. No problems with noise.
Review 57:The price. Utterly ridiculous. I'm writing this from a hotel in las Vegas which, at half the price of quail park lodge, offers you a full kitchen and laundry, plus a jacuzzi and a very comfortable king size bed.
Review 58:I only liked to be able to find a place to sleep in Kanab! Book in advance!
Review 59:Loved everything! We were traveling across country and this was our favorite hotel at that point. It was so adorable, great location, great town, great decor and great amenities in the room. Plus they have bikes and a great pool and hang out area.
Review 60:Receptionist was a little aloof - no real 'welcoming' feel. Breakfast VERY basic - just a few pastries. Wifi was sporadic. Air conditioner pretty noisy.
Review 61:Location was good, decor of room (retro) was nice. Liked the deck chair with 'wino crossing sign'. Generally clean and comfortable.
Review 62:Not a thing...
Review 63:I liked the small night light in the bathroom, made it easy to see and not wake the others up. The room and beffing was very clean. Staff was helpful and polite. Made it feel like you were home, will stay there again for sure.
Review 64:Our room was a little dark. All the other rooms seemed much lighter. Still it was a nice room with a comfy bed.
Review 65:Almost everything. Very good coffee, outside sitting area, comfy bed.
Review 66:Room and bathroom were a bit small. Air conditioner was a bit loud.
Review 67:Room was clean and well appointed. Nice having a refrigerator. Everything was well maintained. Shower had good water pressure and was clean. Hotel looked to be very clean and well maintained.
Review 68:Nothing
Review 69:Loved the comfortable bed!
Review 70:Breakfast was great every morning, room was clean and comfortable. TV, Wi-Fi, Microwave and Frig were in great working order and very useful.
Review 71:Showers, after sunset, that all people arrive, are cold.
Review 72:The location is great. Only at 10 minutes driving to the Grand Canyon Village.
Review 73:The location and the breakfast!
Review 74:Very convenient location, clean room and great breakfast
Review 75:Very friendly and profesional personnel. Location. Breakfast.

Review 78:Not a bad expirence. Bathrooms need fans thats all.
Review 79:Great breakfast buffet, nice people, comfortable rooms
Review 80:The room was clean and comfortable.
Review 81:Very over priced; we paid more than we did on Las Vegas.
Review 82:Friendliness of staff
Review 83:Towels had a hole in them and pool was out of service for our 1 night stay.
Review 84:Clean rooms with fridge, microwave and coffee pot!
Review 85:small
Review 86:Clean, nice location
Review 87:No one available in office and no one answering the phone in the office. Breakfast was on another property!
Review 88:Everyone was very friendly and the room was very clean and nicely decorated. They had free bikes for us to use to ride around town!
Review 89:Handwritten note from staff.
Review 90:Lots of amenities, like lavender spray for linens, fridge, etc. good free breakfast within walking distance.
Review 91:The wi-fi was pretty slow.
Review 92:I loved how comfortable the beds were and how strong the water pressure was in the shower.
Review 93:We stayed in the "retro" room, just right because we just traveled down route 66.
Review 94:Loved the complimentary bikes! Loved the color of our room and it's decor. Great stay for the price!
Review 95:Small bathroom Poor parking
Review 96:Friendliness, retro feel, nice breakfast
Review 97:cost was a little much for older inn
