Review 1：A little more than I wanted to spend. Room 202 not the room to stay in when it's windy outside. The winds howl throw the rafters.

Review 3：There was a plumbing issue. The staff reacted immediately to relocate us to another room. They were all courteous and concerned that we enjoyed our stay.
Review 4：A guest had a dog in another room that was barking at 4 a.m. .... also, I'm unsure where it comes from but cigarette smoke is an issue on the property... I think either guests or staff smoke in the parking garage below and it seeps into the first floor rooms. I don't hold this against the Inn... as it's the inconsideration of other guests that create the problem.

Review 7：Location of Mill Street Inn is perfect for access to the wharf, restaurants, shopping, & clubs. The facilities are great and inviting. Front desk staff was so welcoming and helpful, especially Kate! Breakfast was perfect! We had a group of 3, so having a suite with a bedroom and a living area with foldout couch was ideal.

Beautiful views of the harbor from the rooftop yet one and half blocks away from traffic and crowds. Peaceful and relaxing! Upon check in, two kinds of sangria were in the offering . Delicious . Lovely touch.

Review 18：The housekeeping was horrifible. Bathroom not kept up. Lack of towels. Shower and mirror unclean. Several requests for wash clothes and clean up Not given proper attention. When we asked for consideration in adjusting the rate: this is what we received. I booked for a 2day stay at 847.00. My cost after some consideration was 753.00. Even after the clerk assured me that the inn was deducting 100.00 per night (200). I do not understand this and will contact Amex to investigate this matter.

Review 25：The worst parking ever! There were 21 spots for a hotel with 23 rooms. The 21 spots available were very cramped. The basement garage had a horrible dip into the entrance. It scratched up my front bumper.

Review 29：My boyfriend and I traveled to Newport for a brief vacation. We could not have picked a more perfect place. The accommodations were beautiful AND there was a delicious breakfast included each day. We were just a short walk away from all of the major attractions. In four days, we never refilled our gas tank once.

Even though we called and they said they had it and would ship it at my cost, it never showed up. Apparently, they never did have it but failed to call me back and explain. Funny though they did happen to have other non-prescription face washes. Why would you save those and not the prescription wash with someone's name on the label. Very maddening to say the least.

Review 55：This is the perfect location for all sorts of activities in Newport. We liked the character of the building, being a converted warehouse. It is right in the centre of town but just far enough away from the bars in the harbour area to guarantee a good night's sleep. The availability of parking in such a busy town is also a bonus. The staff, particularly the reception staff were so helpful in giving us advice on activities, travel directions and dinner venues. We enjoyed having breakfast on the roof terrace, although the impending arrival of Hurricane Arthur meant that we could only do this on one morning of our 3-day stay.
