Review 1：Kind of a funky place. I was placed in the "Penthouse Suite,"which was on the 3rd floor of the building and had a living room (with aCostco couch/chair & coffee table), a bathroom in between, and abedroom with a king-size bed, 2 nightstands, cheap tv, electricfireplace (visions of electric flames playing behind white rocks), andenormous walk-in closet. Weird poster art on the walls, some of itcoming apart from the frames. Given that lodging is incredibly expensiveon the Peninsula, I was very fortunate to find this place with a greatspecial rate that evening (great $$ was actually far too pricey for thequality). You can hear everything/everyone in the tile hallways. Amodest breakfast of yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, and toast was included.This place has 2 excellent points -- its location next to the ocean andits amazingly friendly and helpful staff.

Review 3：This is a wonderful property! The woman that owns the property is so friendly and helpful. The views from the rooms are incredible and the bed was very comfortable.

Review 4：Little things here and there. Little dents in the walls and railings, cracked tile floors, etc. Just little things but was told a remodel is coming soon so I look forward to that.

Review 6：COULD USE SOME ATTENTION IN THE BATHROOM. GROUT MISSING AROUND THE TUB. NO DRESSER WITH DRAWERS IN ROOM. FIRE PIT OUTSIDE WOULDVE BEEN NICE. IT WAS COLD AND CLOUDY WHILE WE WERE THERE.

Review 9：We always wanted to stay where we could hear the waves, this was it. It was very cool, comfortable and the waves were loud and clear, not faint. Everything was great especially Dana, Ann and I believe Jen. I will definitely go back for the same experience!

Review 10：This property could use a bit of a window update, but oceans are hard on wood. On a fabulous beach, one of a few that accept dogs. Has two rooms that can be rented with pets. If we return to the area will likely stay there again. Quiet. Traffic is a problem getting to and fro on the weekend in summer

Review 11：If I could wake up in one place every day for the rest of my life, this would be that place. Landis Shores is in the absolute premier location in Half Moon Bay - immediate access to the beach and all rooms overlooking the Pacific. It is the perfect combination of elegance, location and cost. The staff was friendly and eager to help - ensuring that we were aware complementary wine and tea and also of local dining options (Miramar Beach Restaurant and It's Italian were great). They also worked with us to schedule an amazing breakfast in our room. We slept with the windows slightly open and enjoyed the sound of the gently crashing waves all night and woke up to the same. The sunrise view from our room was amazing and void of the cloud cover that neighboring San Francisco is known for. A nice four mile run to the north of the Inn and along the waterfront felt effortless as I took in the breathtaking views. Overall, amazing!

Review 12：Need a more variety of breakfast times, served at 9 am, for early risers was a little late, couldn't even have breakfast on our second morning because of flight time.

Review 18：Fog horn from nearby lighthouse was a bit irritating during the night. The hotel was a hybrid of hotel/b&b which was nice but you should be aware of that. For runners- trail south is closed at bridge-- trying to circumvent the closure is not a good idea as you either end up on RT1 or in the ocean.

Review 21：Staying at the Landis Shores Oceanfront Inn was an incredible experience. The room was on the water allowing for beautiful views at all times. We could watch the pelicans dive for fish and the proposes help round them up. The rooms were very cozy and luxurious and the staff very friendly and attentive. The breakfasts were gourmet like and they had wine and cheese available every late afternoon. The best part was sleeping each night with the sound of the surf just outside the window.
