Review 1：This place is a dump and I would never have stayed there if there had been any other choice. It was the worst of all the places we stayed on our trip in three weeks. it has new owners but it needs a major influx of cash For renovations.

Review 5：I arrived half an hour before 3 PM and there was nobody at the place. I tried to call the number of the front office and nobody answer until 3 PM. Then the guy went there just to give us the key and went way. The bedroom was not ready...at least I think so, because it had 2 double beds and one of them was without bed linen and the used one was throwed at the floor. The motel had garbabe all over the place and the staircase They said it would have coffee until 9 AM, but at 8:30 AM it did not have no more. The price was too expensive for the quality of the motel

Review 6：The motel is showing it age. Big stains on the carpet. Huge water marks in the ceiling from a leaking roof. Bath faucet was leaking. Burn holes in the bedspread. The sink in the bathroom was cracked. Bath tub was so bad we didn't even take a shower the next morning. For the price there should have been a breakfast. Room didn't even have a coffee maker. You had to walk down to the lobby for coffee.

Review 8：Tv didn't work, water dripped, no refrigerator as advertised but didfind us one, microwave didn't work, lamp and overhead lampdidn't work, shower flow was a dribble - no response from manager.We paid $113 for this!! Paid $134 for the next 2 days at theLamplighters Lodge for a much nicer place

Review 10：Room smelled of dirt and old age. Sagging old mattress. AC didn't work. We got a bottle of Fabreeze and a couple strong drinks before we could sleep in this disgrace of a motel. Do Not Stay Here.

Review 12：The room could have been cleaner. Bathroom was OK but old and shower needed some calking. A good vacuum of room in and around the beds and pick up old wrappers behind the desk/dresser is advised.

Review 13：Very large and comfortable room. Great location as we were visiting Zion and then the North Rim. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Old hotel that just needs some TLC.

Review 14：Stains on pillows and pillow cases. Unclean toilet and bath. Lack of hot water. It was the only place in town that didn't seem to rent out just a few rooms. I see now why it was available. I can't see how they will stay in business when their were only a hand full of rooms rented in the high season. The worst place I have stayed in a very long time.

Review 28：Looked like something out of an episode of Breaking Bad. Upon arrival the door to our room was wide open. Once shut, the gap underneath the door was roughly 2 inches. The rats didn't even have to duck to come in.

Review 30：The motel is a converted smoking motel but the carpets were never replaced so it has a strong odor. Given the price, one can't complain about the services, but spending the money to simply replace the carpets and curtains would be a great investment.

Review 32：Now I know how Motel Rooms must have looked like in the 70's... It's the first time in the US and in this price range we had so bad facilities. Bathroom parts are broken, parts are rotten. Shower wasn't hot and had no real shower head. Soap / Shower Gel dispenser was empty. Toilet Paper was half used from the guest before. Long black hair everywhere. The thick carpet omg! When I was sleeping after 10pm, the reception called me to ask if I drive a car so and so. No I'm not! Just register the cars of your guests while checkin like any other Motel is doing it!

Review 33：The location is great (but that counts for all Hotels in Kanab) and the free coffee in the morning is strong. That's it. We stayed here because everything else was full on this day.

Review 34：Smelly room, beaten up walls, tub didn't drain, carpet old and torn, generally shabby. Booking.com should stop booking for this motel.

Review 40：no coffeepot in room. (we knew this so brought our own) mattress very low quality. no "stopper" in the sink (husband was worried about losing a contact down the drain} we went and bought one. overall, it was okay. we would probably stay there again because of the price and location.

Review 42：The motel was probably a gem in it's hay day however it now needs considerable TLC. Outside paint was peeling. Inside wall paper and paint were peeling especially in the bathroom area. The fixtures were old and the shower spayed all over the place creating a large puddle of water on the floor. Apparently this has gone on for a long time as the molding by the door was bowed and rotted away from constant water damage. Assuming the toilet was clean but it was badly stained giving the appearance of dirt. The pool had no water. The Best Western down the street where friends stayed had nicer accommodations and cost the same per night. Their pool was usable. There was only one usable outlet in the bedroom. In order to use it we had to move the table closer to the wall so the plug would reach. The outlet holes were worn and too large. We had to tape the plug to it or it would fall out.

Review 43：The hotel location was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The woman gave us some good restaurant recommendations. The sheets,towels and carpet were clean. Large room.

Review 44：The person that greeted me for my late check in was rude. He made me feel as if I was an inconvenience. He was poorly dressed in basketball shorts and a t-shirt. No shoes or socks. The wi-fi strength was poor. The water was warm but never got hot. I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

Review 45：The centipede in the bathroom, the beds weren't that comfortable. The air-conditioning unit was so loud it kept us up all night. There was no breakfast and it was a bit pricey for how old the place was.

Review 49：No water in swimming pool AC is programmed: you can not go cooler than 65F and it's always on Auto mode (it was not that hot outside /65-85/ but I'm not sure how it feels like in the room when the t goes above 90F) No breakfast (even coffee) No laundry

Review 50：WiFi speed is really good Location is in the center of Kanab (1.5 hours driving to Zion park, 2 hours to Bryce canyon and 2 hours to the North Rim) Pretty quite street Not the best hotel in Kanab but if all other places are sold out this is not a bad option, anyways you spend most of the time in nat'l parks.
