Review 1：Excellent value for money, nice comfy beds and clean! Everything you need to have a nice stay. Staff were also very friendly and the food from their takeaway cafe was great and very reasonably priced. Just a very short drive to Victor Harbor and you can walk across the road to a big servo, Dominos, and a play cafe around the corner. Nice pool as well.

Review 6：The new management were very accommodating and did well with their renovations, great value for money you spend. Breakfast brought to your room. Crest cafe had great selection and good quality food. Close to everything and can't hear any traffic from street. Will defiantly stay their again.

No washing up facilities and we had minimal crockery (crockery for 3 when the room accommodated 5) We ran out of toilet paper on the second day & had to ask for more. Room was not cleaned at all during our stay. No hair dryer in room. Ran out of hot water in the shower on 2 days. Understand that tariffs can be higher in peak season but do not consider this motel value for money.

Review 9：The shower ran cold even with the cold water tap turned off. Did this every time we used the shower. NEED TO GET RID OF THE SHOWER CURTAIN AND REPLACE IT WITH GLASS SLIDING DOOR. The DVD player didn't work in the TV. the tea and coffee and sugar canisters were very light on and weren't replenished during our stay.

Review 13：I was sick and wife tried to order a meal at adjoining cafe, but woman spoke so fast my wife could not understand her. So we had no dinner. The room was dirty. The room was small and cramped. The mattress sagged so we both had sore backs. The shower was small with flimsy curtain which entangled the person having a shower. The water run hot and cold while having a shower. For $90 a night this was a bad experience.

Review 19：Quiet and peaceful. Not far of a walk straight to beach, then not long of a beach walk and your at the horse drawn tram to get over to Granite Island.

Review 23：We liked how close the facility was to the town. The parking was nice and close to the room. The parking surface was not the best. It was good to have detergent for dishes, the problem was the sink was too small. Nor was it easy to fill or add water to the kettle.

I brought cleaning products, as the room was dirty, no microwave dish, Kettle was disgusting and water when boiled had a rotten taste. Windows didn't lock, fly screens ripped, cobb webs and dust. Ruined our weekend. We left early, as the stench, made me feel sick.

The pool-grassed area, 2 old 60's plastic chairs, a half fallen over fence, 1 Palm tree- all certainly doesn't match the picture advertised. We stayed at handorf the following nite, same money, and comparison was handorf totally modern, this motel still in the 70's and not updated. Suggest rate should reflect quality! Sorry! Should think seriously about upgrading.

Review 75：This is a bit picky, but it would have been convenient to have some hooks and or shelves in the bathroom to place toiletries and hang towels. maybe it was just our room that was not equipped. Also, wifi was not available.
Review 76：For the price it suited our needs. We were heading to Kangaroo Island the next day and needed a place close to Port Jervis. Although map quest said it was a 45 minute drive, allow at least 1 hour travel time.

Washing up in the bathroom sink was a bit tricky due to the design of the old sink. Really minor. It was excellent value for money giving me two nights stay for the price of one in other, fancier motels.
