Review 1：No washing machine in winter, hot water and coffee only being provided in the lobby, no coffee maker in room.
Review 2：The location is good. Several cafe, bakery and restaurants were just nearby. Relative cheap price for the quiet and clean rooms. Staff was friendly.
Review 3：Convenient for walking to the restaurants and shops. Love the chairs outside the rooms for happy hour. It's always better to stay at Mom and Pop motels. Staff was nice.

Review 10：We really like Aikens Lodge and used it as a stop between Grand Canyon and Zion. The room had everything we needed (ok, a coffee pot would be nice but we could get coffee at reception.) Quiet, excellent internet, large room with non-standard hotel furniture, a pleasant change. Hostess helped us with restaurant recommendations.
Review 11：Don't forget that check-in in the lodge is till 10 pm! And evidentially wi-fi works at the same time as the reception does!

Review 13：The only suggestion we have is for a small panel of sheer drapes on the large window, so we could have light and privacy to,enjoy the room during the daylight hours.
Review 14：The staff were wonderfully helpful, the room and bathroom were outstandingly clean and tastefully decorated, with huge windows looking out towards the red rock cliffs. We also loved the church bells, pealing every half hour. Wonderful restful experience.

Review 18：Since September Aikens Lodge has another owner, so when we were there in August we saw that the rooms needed to be modernized. I assume the new owners will take care of that.
Review 19：The room was clean and comfortable. The location is good when traveling among the various parks in the area. There are restaurants within walking distance.
Review 20：Good place with big rooms, laundry and a little pool. This lodge is quite close to some restaurants, cafè, gas stations, shops and also a bank. Kanab is very very cute place, close to Zion and Bryce and sure worth a short stay!
Review 21：Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Location is perfect for site seeing. We were in Kanab for the Western Legends Round Up and the lodge was in walking distance to the events. I was told that the lodge has been sold and will be under new management next season. They have a lot to live up to!

Review 31：The bathroom was SO tiny and in an uncomfortable location - you could barely open the door to the shower. Our neighbors were quite noisy and there was a lot of noise outside our room between about 9:00 pm and 11:00 (this was on a cool day in early June so I imagine it would be much worse in the height of the summer season).

Review 33：The male manager (maybe the owner?) was quite gruff and sarcastic with me when I asked about shampoo & conditioner. The one small shampoo 'packet' (no conditioner) was in a small (ketchup like) packet on the back of the toilet. It was about enough for a half of a shampoo. Customer service was lacking.

Review 37：We only spent one night in Aikens Lodge, before heading to Grand Canyon for 4 days backpacking trip, but it was a very pleasant night! We were 3 friends and got positively surprised when we found out our room had 3 separate bedrooms. We could even switch on one TV each in every room, haha (which we did - while packing our backpacks!). Location of the property was excellent, short walking distance to several restaurants. All in all, I would imagine this to be a great choice if you are staying in Kanab for some time and need a base for doing day trips to all the stunning national parks around! I hope to be back there some day in order to explore more.

Review 57：A man at front desk was very helpful, and gave some very good advises! Including to get a breakfast at Houstons, which I would definitely recommend. Everything else is OK, if you not planning to live there for a week :), for one night on the road it is acceptable.

Review 60：I have to reach to find something to not like, but here goes... The property is old, maybe 1950s vintage, and bathroom is slightly dated. But extremely clean and well maintained so it's more about style than substance.
Review 61：A lot to like here. Price was very reasonable, property is very clean, rooms clean. There were plenty of power outlets for charging phones and other electronics. Clean and we'll maintained pool and grounds. Friendly and helpful office staff. For the warm and sunny climate, we really liked the motel style where we could sit outside our room. We were glad not to be in a hotel on an indoor hallway.
Review 62：No internet!!For our group of three. The owner told us off twice when we sat outside and used the inside table, treated like little childen.. In the early evening ,we had to go and sit at the pool which was on the parking lot with no cover from any passers-by.So we sat inside. Which is a bit sad when its such nice weather. No breakfast to be had just tea and coffee.

So it can´t be used, because everybody gets ready to drive tothe Grand Cannyon....at that time. What difference would it be forcleaning if it´s used before. Guests payed for it!!!!
