Review 1：The view from our room was depressing and the entire property was ill kept with plastic and dirt everywhere. It looked more like an army barracks then a resort. Would never recommend our area of this resort which was building 4.

Review 2：Construction was bad news and landscaping was nonexistent in our area so we had a view of dirt only. It was terrible

Review 3：Facility is showing some wear and tear but renovation is underway. Mattress in our room was a bit saggy; pillows hard and poor quality.

Review 4：The location was fantastic. Poipu seems to be the premium spot on the island. Love the access to the ocean, beach, hiking. Convenient shopping and restaurants. The pool at the Point is superb. Kitchen adequately stocked to keep a family fed. Staff was friendly and helpful. I appreciated the locker room to use once we checked out because we had a late flight from the island and could still use the pool and beach for the day. Appreciated the free internet.

Review 7：As I entered the staff assigned me a garden view apartment/room,when I paid for partial-view apartment through Booking.com. Afterdiscussion, and calling the supervisor, and forwarding my emailconfirmation to the "Boss" they gave me what I have alreadybooked. The staff made it appear as they were doing me a favour fordoing so :( I compare that to the day before I stayed in Kapaa in theKauai Coast Resort for an Ocean front two bedroom apartment on the firstfloor with three open slide doors on the first floor and payed less thanwhat I did with The Point for a Partial view on 2nd floor. I will notstay at the Point again. This was my tenth visit to the islands.

Review 9：Honestly can't criticize anything for the money we paid, nothingupset us or made us frustrated during whole stay. Would have been niceto have restaurants or gift shop but these were very nearby and likelyhelp keep cost down. They are renovating some of the 12 buildingsseveral at a time. Previous reviews made this out to be a big deal butdid not disrupt our trip in the slightest and these were likely highmaintenance people.

Review 11：* construction everywhere. large construction vehicles driving by our room every day. * staff seemed to be unfamiliar or unwilling to provide a room that would not be burdened with construction during our stay. Eventually they found a room that had a nice view, but noisy and random construction workers driving/walking by throughout the day. * Was a bit messy. For nearly 3 days the main steps leading down to the pool and rooms had cones and caution tape. It may have rained overnight, but even when dry the cones often were knocked over, making us hop over the tape to get by when their intent was to block one side or the other. Wind? poorly maintained. * No a/c in living room, only in bedrooms
