Review 1：The reception from the desk help. When we arrived, the person at the desk spoke so fast, it was impossible to understand her. We had to ask her to slow down twice, and there was no one behind us - so no reason to treat us like one of many guests. We were also to we would have a hundred dollar charge for possible damage to the room. And then we get in out room, and the blind control was broken - held together by a paper clip. Room 17, by the way. Than I asked for a little longer to check out - 11:15- and was told no - that's a first time ever and I'm 60 years old. You have a nice facoty, but your policies and staff needs some work. Nice faculties but poor customer relations.

Review 3：Staff not clear and not cooperative with simple late check out request. We were charged 15 dollars as a ridiculous charge for 15 minutes late after check out. Rude clerk at front desk.

Review 8：Carpet was being cleaned and became lumpy when wet. My toddler tripped on it. It smelled damp and moldy. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls in some places.

Review 9：It was where my older daughter was attending CPE3. I felt safe with small children. We enjoyed the deer at dusk. It was close to a variety of restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Review 10：Rude treatment by breakfast staff. Had my family with me, plates being loaded, and then a staff person walked up to me and challenged whether I had a right to be there getting the breakfast, we were all wearing a wrist band. Bad observation abilities.

Review 11：The place is old and it is not well cared for. The hallways smelled likethere had been water damage boards where falling and or rotting off ofthe buildings. The hot tub was broken and according to staff had beenbroken for a long period of time. The breakfast was free but terrible.

Review 21：My reservation was made for a room with 2 queen beds. When I checked in we were given a room with 2 double beds. I had to sleep with my daughter since my husband and I don't fit well together in a double bed. I was told that it was an error on the resort's part and that there was no other room for us. I asked for a discount on the room rate. I received a $12 discount. I didn't think that was equivalent to the inconvenience we had.

Review 23：I think this is the best value I've ever had for the money spent. We had three children with us: 7, 9, and 16. There was plenty for them to do. They ran a great family movie at night. There was popcorn, s'mores, and ice cream available. We plan on going back in 1-2 weeks.

Review 29：The only major concern we had was the mold around the tub edge. A bit of bleach will fix that right up. The coffee maker was a bit painful as it only ran a third cup of water at a time during brew cycles.

Review 30：This was an awesome location away from the typical hotel row. Loved the deer on the property. On first arrival, you are met with the smell of pine and solitude of the country.

Review 36：I had requested early check-in on line. Got there around 1pm...Roomwasn't ready till exactly 4pm... The next morning we were gettingready to go to Schliterbaun for the day. Room service knocked & wetold them we would be leaving in 5 minutes...We left for the day andcame back around 6pm to find that our room had not been serviced atall...we went to the pool & around 9pm we called the front desk toask about the outdoor grill restaurant & if they were still open. Wewalked over there & the guy who took our order had a very badattitude stating that yes they are open because we called...I Orderedsomething simple because it was obvious he was upset that we wereordering something...My wife & I both ordered a turkey & baconmelt....We got our order with no bacon & no "melt". Theplace is wonderful, but the staff made us feel very unwelcome. Not allof the staff. There was the woman behind the front counter who was Verynice...don't know her name. As we checked out I saw a flyer that hadsome helpful information about the resort...It wasn't there when Ichecked in. Even though the staff didn't seem to care too much forus...we do plan on going back simply because the resort itself is nice

Review 37：It was my first time there. I loved the amenities. (Pool, basketballcourt, ping pong, golf, etc.) My son loved it... He's 8 years old.We stayed there as kind of a mini-vacation & took him toSchliterbaun for a day. Enjoyed the night movies as well. Very relaxingatmosphere & ambiance.

Review 38：The male employee behind the breakfast bar. We came out to do s'mores and this guy literally disrespected us. We felt discriminated. Room 27 has roaches.

Review 40：We were not given wristbands when we checked in (perhaps because it was after midnight). This resulted in one of my sons and I being humiliated in front of the entire dining room of people at breakfast on our final morning there. We felt truly humiliated, as the server was very loud about the fact that we were there without wristbands. It was our third day there and the first time anyone mentioned wristbands to us. We were also disappointed that the Lone Star Grill was dark on a Sunday night. The woman did serve us dinner (at 8:00 PM), but we felt that we were inconveniencing her. We had to seek staff out to even be served. The gift shop attendant told us to look for staff in the dining room. My boys were also looking forward to the free ice cream advertised as a treat every night. The one night that we planned to indulge in this, the ice cream was not available. We also were not allowed to make smores since the lone star grill was shut down that evening. If the grill isn't open and ice cream and smores are not available on a Sunday evening, you should inform your guests. If we are supposed to have wristbands to eat breakfast, you should give them to your guests at check in.

Review 41：We LOVED the property!!! Driving up and seeing deer was priceless. My boys enjoyed the putting green, the basketball court, the pool and the outdoor movie. Free Wifi was awesome! Our room was comfy and some of the staff were very warm and friendly.

We love how family friendly it is with activities to keep the kids entertained, like the gym full of activities and popcorn and movie at night. The location is great for everything to do in the area like Schlitterbahn and the caverns. We will be back!!

The overnight campers stayed in a different area of the resort so that was not a noise problem. However during the day, the day campers were occupying the gym area a lot of the time so we couldn't use it.

Review 70：This was our first stay and it is a great place. Events daily for couples or families with young children. Food was superb. Will definitely stay there again when in the area.

Review 71：10 day $100 hold on my Redit card incase house keeping determines something is damaged. According to the front desk clerk I would not be informed but they would take any cost from the $100. The phone number to the front desk was un known. Housekeeping staff didn't know the number as well. We were not informed about a breakfast, if they offered one. Lastly, I contacted the desk clerk for a late check out of 12 pm but was told no. Hard to understand when check in is 4 pm. This one night stay was not worth the $160 one night stay. I will not return nor would I recommend this facility.

Review 72：The amenities they state on the website were not there - the trails were mostly closed and not in good shape. The bikes were not available. The pool had no towels. Went to one office and was told to walk to office, so walked to the office and they called housekeeping - guess the other office couldn't be bothered to use the phone although no one was in the camp store. They said they are merging. The beds were very hard. It was not worth the extra money. They are not ready - very disappointed.

This is attached to a summer camp and the main function is to house parents during drop off I imagine. Nothing was indicated about this on the website. There was very limited amenities and resources. Not much more than a bed to sleep on and a warm shower.

This fitness center was usable, however, it was more suited for younger people who would play basketball, volleyball, etc. The weight room and exercise room needs more machines and free weights, as well as a place for abdominal workouts.

Review 98：Impulsive get away; had a romantic thought, searched the internet & booked a wonderfully splendid night... all within 10 min! Just decided it was the right thing to do & followed though with action. The room (actually, the whole facility) was extremely clean & QUIET. The jacuzzi was magical after a fun day of tennis & we slept like Rip Van Winkle. The only amenity that would have made the stay better would be the addition of a continental breakfast. After all, Starbucks coffee is already in the room. Thank you, we shall definitely return in the future.

The mattresses in our room appeared new and were amazingly comfortable. Will definitely stay here again! Would like to stay in one of the cabins next time. Wish we had a longer stay.

Review 107：The bed was a little too firm but a lot of people prefer that so if that's my only complaint then we're good!

Review 108：Although we only were able to stay one night, it was a very comfortable stay for our first night on our honeymoon. It was only 2 minutes down the road from the venue and we had lots of privacy rather than staying at a hotel 20 minutes away. We love the hill country and it looked like a really fun getaway resort we want to go back to with the family.

Review 109：On Saturday we had the BBQ buffet. We thought it was a little pricey but the flyer made the buffete sound good so we decided to try it. We paid for 5 people and were very dissapointed. The food was cold, we were the only guests there and look like the food had been sitting there a while. We barely eat and left 10 mnts after we came in. Let the person at the front desk know and she just said sorry but did not offered to go check on the food . It was very disappointing since we were happy with the facilities but the food was terrible and pricey.

Review 111：The 'restaurant' and 'bar' is more of a poolside outdoor bar/grill, where a) you might be served top sirloin with a plastic knife, and b) the bartenders are asked to hide the liquor bottles from the apparently vigilant & hardcore Christian families who attend camps here, and can't stand the thought of accidently seeing a bottle of anything alcoholic. This is all well and fine, but I grew up in a family that didn't drink for religious reasons, and it was still understood that other people were well within their god-given rights to purchase a glass of wine with their dinner. You practically had to whisper your request to the poor (and probably actually poor) bartender in order to get an adult beverage. The front desk only borders on helpful-you have to ask a lot of questions in order to find anything out.

Review 112：Lots of cool things to do with kids, while stills maintaining a relaxing atmosphere. Our children (2,6) LOVED it. Trails and fields to explore, a lovely pool (with a shallow wading area), movies and popcorn, tennis, a free mini putting green, etc. Rooms are comfortable, clean, well stocked, and pleasant; rather on the uncreative side, but perfectly comfortable, nonetheless! Food was truly great. Amazing gym. Rather like being at a fancy summer camp. Everyone who works there is very friendly. A ten+ minute drive to schlitterbahn.

The cabin was cozy, quiet, peaceful and we loved the rockers on the front porch. Loved the young deer on the resort just roaming about at nite. We were there during the week and there was no parking problem. Always felt safe walking around even late at nite within the resort. Sports options were great including putting green and bicycles. Lots for kids to do.

Review 119：The buffet was very expensive and we expected more food for what we paid . The little food was cold and nobody in my group of 5 finished their plate. We let the lady at the front office know but she just apologized she did not offer to return our money back for what we had payed and did not eat their cold food. Woul not and has not been recommending this buffet to nobody.

There is so much to do, you never have to leave property. 2 pools, putt putt, full gym, tennis, pool, shuffleboard, air hockey, giant chess, nighttime movies, free ice cream, grill on-site, etc. Can't wait to take our extended family back next year! Room was very clean and had a mini-fridge, beds very comfortable. Awesome experience!

Review 122：No microwave in the room. Very dark complex to drive through at night. Fine to drive in during the day. We arrived at 11:50 pm due to travel delays.

Review 123：Staff was very friendly. Called ahead and asked for extra pillows and towels, they were in my room when i got there. Small fridge and tv with cable in the room. Nice pool and hot tub! Even showed a kids movie outside sat night on projector screen, free ice cream cones at night. Parking is close to your car. Deer walking around the park at all times was nice to see, best time for the deer was early in the morning. We will stay at this location next time we visit.

Review 124：Need plumbing update. Was nasty in bathroom Sink backed up and toilet would not flush and maintenance handed me a plunger so I could do it. I was on vacation but I fixed it so I didn't have to see and smell it. Thanks for that experience.

Had to leave the facility to do things, which was okay because its new Braunfels, but I had two small grandchildren with me and I kind of thought from the website that there was more to do on the premises. Need another restaurant than the outdoor grill. The food was good, but if staying longer than a weekend it would be nice to dine indoors as well. Especially with the heat. There were no kids the age of my grandchildren, the only kids seemed to be groups that were there as a camp. Maybe I didn't get it and that is the type of group T Bar M caters to, which is fine, just be aware.

Review 133：We arrived after dark and took several minuites to find our building because the hotel staff was too busy talking to peers to give us exact directions. We smelled cigarette smoke all night and morning seeping into our room! The room was gross with food crumbs and hair on the pillow cases. our room and building smelled like cheap perfume/must. Its like they sprayed to cover up the musty smell. We were so disgusted with our room that we literally left the resort from the moment we woke up and came back right before bed. Lots of loud drunks in our building.

Review 134：The Rooms were dated and the beds were very firm. We stayed there for 5 nights while our kids were in camp and house keeping only makes your bed they don't clean anything. No vacuuming no wiping down surfaces, they just made our beds. That is a bad thing when you have 2 adults and 2 young kids in a small room for that long.

Review 135：The location. I would not stay there unless you had kids going to the camp.
