Review 1：The furniture, carpet, and bathroom were clean but showing wear. There was a concerning presence of several security cameras, both in the lobby and the Denny's directly actoss the street. A rough neighborhood, maybe? We were woken up by a loud conversation coming through the outside vents since the sidewalk was right outside the door. I could hear the people next door and upstairs: muffled, but enough to keep me awake.

Review 2：The proximity to Mt. Vernon and price including breakfast. The cleanliness even though the room was somewhat dated. Breakfast was well done: plenty of variety and freshness.

Review 3：Housekeepers could clean a little more thoroughly around the corners and edges of the carpet.

Review 4：Convenient location from which to visit Mt. Vernon, which was only 3 miles away. Metro terminal and parking only 2-3 miles away. One can easily take the yellow line and transfers to anywhere in the DC area. The desk team was helpful and friendly. They served hot and cold breakfast foods. Parking is free. While I didn't use it, there was a nice outdoor pool and picnic tables. The rooms were clean and spacious with expected amenities.

Review 7：Front desk reps were all great, even though we waited a tad due to computer glitch. Took the time to ask and they answered several questions we had for site seeing. They were all really nice and very helpful. Also, liked having both sinks. Very convenient for us. Husband particularly liked the large TV.

Review 8：The ongoing construction was a problem with blocked off stairways and sidewalks. Very inconvenient to get to our room ! Could be a problem in an emergency!.

Review 9：The staff was very friendly and nice. The room was clean but in poor condition and needs renovation badly. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special.

Review 10：Pool only open from 3pm-9pm. Second queen size bed in both rooms almost touching the wall at the foot of the bed. Not easy to get past. Even though the rooms were generally clean, I had to clean the desk chairs in the "girls" room with a lint brush because of hair that was NOT ours. In the 'boys' room there were concerns about spiders and bathroom & counter not clean enough. My oldest son was bit twice. Neither door seemed to completely seal when closed. Eggs were cold.

Review 11：Staff was pretty nice although most of the domestic staff could not speak English. Had a lifeguard. Breakfast area was small but nice. There was also an outside eating area. The food was pretty nice with a large variety. Parking area was kept clean. We did not use the laundry facility nor snack machines.

Review 20：There were two sinks/long counters in separate areas of the bathroom - one in the room with the toilet and the other in the dressing area. We didn't need to clamor for the sink. The wallpaper created a charming, more elegant space. Excellent TV programming. Comfortable beds. A good breakfast. And very courteous staff. We were in town for a funeral, and the ladies at the check-in desk expressed their condolences when we checked in and when we checked out. That meant so much to us. Our stay was a positive experience.

Review 21：Horrible odor. The room was cramped with 2 queen beds, barely enough walking space to get by each other. it was NOT roomy and clean like the pics portray it to be. felt like i stepped back into an 80's movie minus the flat screen tv. definitely cant compare to the Quality Inn near Fort Belvoir.

Review 22：The room smelled. I bought an air freshener to make it through the stay. The air freshener worked although the housekeeping closed it while I was out when they cleaned the room and that resulted in the room being in need of freshening when I returned.

The response was "oh, I'm sorry," whereas I felt it should have been Oh, my goodness, I am so sorry about that. We will change your room for you and comp you a night for the inconvenience."

Review 84：We initially booked to stay for 2 nights but realized that we needed more time to do everything we wanted to do in the DC area. The lovely ladies at the front desk were more than helpful and friendly. We were able to wash our clothes on site and our room was spotless and our beds were turned down for us as we returned from DC every day. We will gladly stay there again and again.

The whole thing was designed by an intelectuallychallenged designer. Overall quality was pitiful. Microwave had brokendoor. Room smellt terrible of pesticides.

Review 88：Wi-fi was extremely poor quality - from my room, I either had extremely, painfully slow connection or none at all. There was a computer in the office that was better, but not very good. And no way to print out anything (tickets, instructions, etc.). That was my only complaint - but it did cost me some money (I couldn't buy tickets ahead of time and save money on events, for example).

Review 98：Well maintained hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast and close tostores and restaurants. As close as this hotel was to a main road, wedid not hear traffic noise in our room. The staff was very good and ahotel staff member was very patient with guests as they came in forbreakfast. She was always present to replenish the breakfast buffet andhelped guests make their own waffles, when needed. Overall, I waspleased with the quality for this price point.

Review 99：We have stayed at this motel many times. While the basic facility is old, it is well kept and clean. The staff is very helpful and the core staff has been there for many years, remembering us when we return several times a year to visit family. There is an outdoor "park" area with picnic tables and a grill an outdoor seating for breakfast and a pool. The property is set on a side spur road set back from the main highway with residential areas on both sides and behind.

Review 100：The room was fairly spacious and clean and the Continental breakfast was great. The only complaint I had (and, unfortunately, this is fairly important to me) is that the beds weren't that comfortable. We called it a "taco bed" and had to fight not to roll into the middle of it (perhaps not such an issue for married couples sharing a bed but not as enjoyable for friends).

Review 104：A wall charger was stolen from us by the person who did the cleaning. We made the complaint to the reception staff but they didn't seem to care about it and just told us that they asked the person that did the cleaning and she said it wasn't there.
