Reviews for Hotel 43 Boise

Review 1:Breakfast set-up is a bit weird.

Review 2:Upgraded to a very nice suite for a very reasonable price. Loved the steakhouse Chandler on the property. Great drinks and jazz music in the bar.

Review 3:Not a big fan of the tiny bathroom with toilet and shower. Sliding doors would be far better in that small space. Room could have been cleaner but nothing alarming.

Review 4:Welcoming staff, very friendly. Great location walking distance to everything downtown. Hotel bar has lovely cocktails and happy hour tasty bites. Bed was really comfortable. Quiet location with farmer market next door on Saturday.

Review 5:The bad was kinda smaller king size then usual but nothing major. No free breakfast what usually other hotels offer and coffee in Starbucks in the property was awful.

Review 6:Everything was great.

Review 7:There wasn't one thing we didn't like about our stay here! We spent our Anniversary there and they were amazing. They gave us a free upgrade on our room which was beautiful and extremely roomy. Staff and room service were amazing as well! You won't regret staying here!

Review 8:Maid service ignored our Do Not Disturb sign. I felt nickeled and dimed with the option to purchase things in the room like bottles water, stuffed animals and the extra cost for parking.

Review 9:Location was perfect. Room was immaculate.

Review 10:On the morning of our last day the power went off in the hotel(2 block area of downtown Boise). Both my daughter and I had to catch early morning flights. We had no idea what was going on so my daughter walked down 5 flights of stairs to check with the front desk due to no phones working. She was told it would be back on soon. People were trapped in the elevator. She wound up having to hike down 5 flights of stairs with 2 suitcases in the dark. The emergency lighting did not work. It was dangerous at best. I was so disappointed that they did not offer to help her. They had no way to communicate with their guests and the power was off for approximately 3 hours. I realize this was beyond their control but the lighting certainly was not. I will never stay at this hotel again. I responded to their survey and told them all of this. I have yet to even receive an apology or an explanation. We were lucky that it wasn't a fire.

Review 11:From the moment we pulled up to the hotel we had an amazing time! We were greeted by the valet and then inside at the desk our check in took less than five minutes. When we got to our room we found the most comfortable bed, a beautiful walk in shower and all of it was in tip top shape- very clean. We were in town for an event which was right across the street for such easy access.

Review 12:The only thing that was negative was that the elevator was very slow and I couldn't find access to the stairs.

Review 13:Great room service menu, free wifi, easy access.

Review 14:The only detraction is the $12 parking fee that is automatically charged to the account. I am not sure if the fee or paying the normal parking garage fee would be a better value for the customer

Review 15:We stayed in a room right off the elevator on the 4th floor and we didn't hear the elevator once! It was a wonderful surprise.

Review 16:We had our daughters wedding reception at your place 15plus years ago and loved everything. We feel your "upgrade" is a "downgrade". The lobby is cold and unfriendly, the animal carpet(YIKES) and a guest paying to park. Really. No revisit for us

Review 17:I was greeted and made to feel welcome from the time I arrived until I left. I had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent. I had a wonderful time

Review 18:The only thing I could think of was I had trouble charging my ipad and iphone. I am travelling internationally, but I had a converter, but it took forever to charge ipad (48 hours). This is not the case in other U.S. hotels.

Review 19:Quiet, small and lovely staff.

Review 20:I was really excited to get room service in the morning but I was disappointed to see that you had to order it the night before.

Review 21:I have stayed at the hotel before and it is always very comfortable and quiet. It is right in the heart of downtown and close to everything.

Review 22:There was a thick layer of dust in our allergy free room on the tray and lamp on end table.

Review 23:Rooms that have air cleaners and were set up for highly allergic people/families. The beds were comfortable. The staff were always positive and professional.

Review 24:Hotel 43 was located in a wonderful location in the heart of downtown Boise next to many restaurants and shops. Hotel was well maintained, and the staff was extremely helpful.

Review 25:Room rates

Review 26:Everything.

Review 27:Mess up on reservations after numerous contacts with Hotel43 as well as Booked.com.

Review 28:Very comfortable hotel within walking distance to our dinner and concert venue. Loved it!

Review 29:Loved the beds and the location.

Review 30:There was a 19% gratuity automatically added, plus $5.00 delivery charge for room service.

Review 31:The room was great. Bed was super comfy.

Review 32:Excellent facility and the staff were grea!

Review 33:Interior was average, no hot tub, or pool. Hallways look dated, lackluster for a 4 star hotel.

Review 34:Bed was exceptional so was the location.

Review 35:Wi-fi was not great - service was intermittent.

Review 36:Great location. Comfortable room.

Review 37:I wanted to live in the shower. 5th floor Capitol King room in the "quiet" hallway was rad.

Review 38:It was relaxing, clean, and enjoyable. A wonderful stay.

Review 39:The staff was wonderful and the room was clean with lovely decor.

Review 40:The need was great and very nice bathrooms, and room was very clean.

Review 41:No bath tubs in king rooms only shower

Review 42:Very friendly staff. Great location.

Review 43:Paying more for parking and parking on the street.

Review 44:Easy access, easy walk to dinner, nice staff, very nice room and bathroom

Review 45:The price was too high and too expensive to park

Review 46:View

Review 47:Small bathroom and no refills for soap and shampoo

Review 48:Slept well. The beds are very comfortable.

Review 49:Dirty carpeting in bedroom

Review 50:For what it is. Pricey.

Review 51:Staff is the highlight, rooms are nice. Good restaurant

Review 52:Small tv

Review 53:$12 parking fee

Review 54:Excellent staff

Review 55:Rooms were pretty small. The front desk staff was not very friendly. They weren't rude by any means. They just weren't very warm.

Review 56:The beds were very comfortable. Cozy robes hanging in the closet.

Review 57:Not one negative thing about this hotel and staff. It was excellent!

Review 58:The staff at the front desk were wonderful and very professional. The hotel is beautiful and the beds were comfortable. We will be staying there again.

Review 59:Not all the amenities we were told about were available, night staff was rude, bed skirt had stains and tears.

Review 60:It was a decent enough hotel. Easy to find. Valet was nice.

Review 61:The tv wouldn't turn on the screen. You could hear it but no picture (rm 222). Turn it off then on and it would work. For the money we paid, tv should work properly.

Review 62:The comfort of the room was amazing.

Review 63:Elevator was so so slow. Cafe downstairs closed too early. No pool and very minimal gym, located across cold driveway from main hotel.

Review 64:Room was comfortable, very clean, had a teddy bear. Staff was super helpful and friendly.

Review 65:can't think of one thing we did not like.

Review 66:visited for our 37 anniversary. Room had been upgraded at no cost, staff placed a bottle of champagne in room, staff was very pleasant and responsive.

Review 67:I don't know where to begin. From check in it was a nightmare. The Guest Service Manager, Patrick, had zero customer service. The price for the room was insane for what was offered. We will not be staying there again. For less you can stay at The Grove & receive high quality from check in to check out with zero problems.

Review 68:The bed was comfortable.

Review 69:Minor issue with coffee items left in room; wasn't offered replacements or something else to compensate

Review 70:The room was comfortable The staff was pleasant Had good options for room service Good location in downtown area Parking garage is nice

Review 71:This was a terrific place to stay! Our flight arrived late and it was 3:00 in the morning and the staff sent a taxi to pick is up! We were absolutely impressed with the staff! The beds were the best I've slept in! And the breakfast was hot and delicious when we ordered room service! I would definitely stay here anytime I am in Boise!

Review 72:We were on the top floor and the Wi-Fi wasn't strong enough. It didn't really work

Review 73:Great room, a very comfortable bed, nice view of downtown. You couldn't ask for a better location in Boise

Review 74:nothing

Review 75:This was a perfect stay. The staff were very friendly and eager to help in any way. The rooms were very nice and the beds super comfortable. It was quiet and peaceful and this will definitely be my place to stay in Boise. The restaurant was amazing as well.

Review 76:The shower felt like needles on my face.

Review 77:The staff were the best, beyond excellent. Justin, Katie and Daphne were so friendly and helpful. They really went out of their way to be sure we had what we needed, had recommendations for restaurants, shopping, museums, etc.

Review 78:The room was rather small (we reserved a one king bed room) and had no fridge (would have been nice for our dinner leftovers), but for $88/night, this is a miniscule complaint. The room itself was beautifully decorated and had a great view.

Review 79:The location was AMAZING, and so was the parking. We nabbed a street spot right in front of the hotel (free weekend parking!), and didn't move the car once all weekend. We walked all over downtown Boise and were never more than a few blocks from the hotel. The décor was super chic but not obnoxiously trendy. Loved it!!

Review 80:Not a thing.

Review 81:The resturant "Chandlers" it outstanding. Food is excellent and the room has a real vibe. Nice jazz every night. Attentive wait staff.

Review 82:I ordered breakfast/room service the next morning. It was very slow and the food was cold and in to-go containers.

Review 83:The hotel staff were great. It's a cozy, classy hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed easy access to Chandlers and downtown area.

Review 84:Paid $12 for parking. This is Boise. The garage in which patrons parkonly charged $5 for the evening due to there being a special event. Ishould have parked on the other side of the lot and paid the attendant.

Review 85:Room size, location

Review 86:A little noise from street traffic. Very dark bathroom / shower (low light and no windows).

Review 87:Excellent customer service. Great location. Outstanding restaurant on site.

Review 88:Wish the room had a refrigerator.

Review 89:Great location, you can walk to anywhere in downtown Boise. Higher up rooms have wonderful view of the Boise foothills. Even better if you have a balcony to sit outside. Late check out!

Review 90:If I had to choose something it would be paying for parking, but it wasn't that big of a deal and I realize street parking is limited in that area.

Review 91:Loved everything about the room, but especially the bed which was very comfortable.

Review 92:Adri Guest services was very attentive and professional. Violeta had cleaned the room prior to my stay and was done very well. The bed was amazing. Also the bath products I loved.

Review 93:bar closed early on a Friday night
