Reviews for Craddock Terry Hotel & Event Center

Review 1:The breakfast is nice, just wish the croissant was more authentic.

Review 2:Rooms are spacious and well-appointed. It's nice to have two restaurants on site. Love the eco-conscious toiletries.

Review 3:Lots of construction going on. I'm sure 2-3 years from now this will be a great hotel with several options within walking distance. But not now!!! Over all nice stay and great steak restaurant in the hotel.

Review 4:A mouse entered the room. We were moved to a different room immediately, but the event ruined the stay at the hotel.

Review 5:Beautiful Building. Nice Location. Good customer service.

Review 6:The train noise. I could also hear the people in the next room. Better sound proofing.

Review 7:The room was clean and cozy. I loved the turned down at night and the breakfast delivery to room. The uniqueness of the hotel. I will definitely stay here again. I have already recommend the hotel.

Review 8:Nothing we didn't like.

Review 9:Rooms were large and had a bath and separate shower. Staff was very helpful. Came around at 7pm to see if we wanted anything, water, soap, etc. Shoe museum was great along with the huge safe.

Review 10:room was first floor, adjacent to parking lot which meant drapes had to be kept closed. Light bulbs were the new variety which were extremely dim (which meant it was impossible to read anything). We had to buy our own bulbs to recify the problem!!

Review 11:downtown location

Review 12:We wanted to know where we should go for brunch but there wasn't anyone at the front.

Review 13:This was our second time at this hotel I must say the property is amazing.

Review 14:The hotel was classy and wonderfully decorated in the shoe theme. We love that the work and materials used in the hotel was from the state of VA. Very historic place to be. We respect the fact that the building was "saved" and repurposed.

Review 15:Wifi only worked if you were sitting at or near the desk; you could not sit on the bed and use the internet. Bed was okay; pillows looked nice, but went super flat. (Even with two or three stacked together)

Review 16:Beautiful, spacious room. Loved the exposed brick wall and high ceiling with exposed wood beams. Very nice bathroom - loved the large shower!

Review 17:Being above restaurant and having four loud with whistles trains blare by immediately below room. only rooms considered were the ones closest to tracks either 509 or 510.

Review 18:Lovely room.

Review 21:I took my wife to the Craddock Terry Hotel for two anniversaries now and we love how professional the staff is, cleanliness of the facility, the rooms, and the Shoemakers restaurant has excellent food. We will return for future stays.

Review 22:Not the best views. Down town Lynchburg is renovating the area but that is the only draw back.
