Review 9：Anyone who goes to Portalegre, a very interesting beautiful place, typical Alentejana, should stay in this place. Friendly, beautiful, excellent situation, small typical restaurant opposite. I recomend this place to anybody. The staff speaks english and knows a lot about where to go.
Review 10：a quaint and very comfortable hotel right in the heart of this small town. The signs make it easy to find! It sits on a quiet street and the staff is ready to welcome you. All very nice - staff, facilities (the handpainted furniture is a nice touch throughout).

Review 12：I have stayed twice at this small and family run hotel as well as booking a female solo traveller in. It is well run and very friendly and would recommend this establishment to anyone wishing to enjoy the true spirit of Portalegre. I used to be a hotel inspector in the past so can draw a fair picture. It is a quiet and relaxing hotel with a friendly feel. There is free WiFi which is accessible from each bedroom. The bedrooms are well decorated with attractive furniture, beds comfortable and rooms warm. Public areas are limited although it wasn't clear if hotel guests should or could use the large lounge area off the reception and dining area.
Review 13：Right in the center of Portalegre, less than 5 minute walk from the cathedral. Close to everything. Nice and clean rooms. Excelente value for money.
