Review 1：Absolutely wonderful trip. Clean spacious romantic and relaxing room. Wonderful breakfast. Everything in working order. Staff excited about venue and willing to go above and beyond. Will definitely be staying here again. Like home away from home.

Review 2：The staff was very helpful. We were attending a wedding and found we had a need for needle and thread which the front desk person quickly found and off we went.

Review 3：Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable and the room was so pleasant we enjoyed being there after our long bike ride as we rested before dinner. Breakfast was great - they made special vegetarian food for me and the view was autumnal and lovely.

Also the ketchup used by the kitchen had a watered down taste....improve the wifi and use Heinz ketchup

Review 22：Spa was closed for renovation which was one of the reasons for choosing this lodge. Matress was worn out and needs replaced or turned. Beds very high. Continental breakfast was below average however the hotel did offer fully cooked breakfast in a newly bistro which was encouraged.

Review 23：Very large spacious rooms. Adjoining veranda was relaxing in the evening. Elevator was convenient was lifting heavy luggage to first floor. Internet router at top of stairs gave great wifi connection for all devices. Tried the bistro for breakfast on one of the mornings and the quality of food was very good.

Review 49：The last time I stayed there (3months ago), I had a room with a balcony and nice,fluffy robes in the bathroom. This time, I had neither. But the biggest difference was that breakfast is no longer included! There was supposed to be a free Continental breakfast outside the dining room,but I never saw it. For $145 per night, I would expect breakfast to be included. I travel to Lynchburg frequently and I am not sure this place is worth the extra money anymore.
