Review 1：I booked 2 rooms on booking.com. When we arrived, only 1 room was entered for my reservation. They provided two rooms near each other but not side-by-side as expected. The bathroom sink did not drain properly, and simple maintenance issues need to be regularly maintained in the rooms. Road noise was loud during the night.

Review 14：What did I like = Everything! Customer service is excellent, rooms are well cleaned, beds are very comfortable, complimentary beverages in the evening are nice, and the complimentary breakfast is the best from all my travels.

Review 15：Hotel is very outdated. Bathroom was too small, caulking around was peeling, and carpet was damp to touch. Air only worked on one speed. The entire place was old and in desperate need of cleaning and updating.

Review 30：The room & bathroom were quite cramped. There was no fridge or microwave in room. The beds were comfy though. The shower faucets were stripped, so getting them on & off was a chore. The lower wood around the nightstand was crumbling away so wood chip were everywhere.

Review 31：I loved the fact that they had roving guards in the parking lots 24/7. The front desk staff was excellent & that is getting to be a rarity. The room was older but comfortable as was the facilities. The staff really makes up for it though. A real Godsend! I will be back.

Review 36：I felt like I had been transported to a quaint wilderness lodge, when really I was still in downtown Jackson. I was surprised to find Amber Bock on tap at happy hour and the VA patients staying there were very entertaining.

Review 37：My sole complaint was that the bathroom was ridiculously tiny and cramped, especially compared with the spaciousness of the guest room itself. Closing the door meant bumping yourself on the toilet, and there was no exhaust fan so a hot shower created a real "London fog." I fully expected the fire alarm to go off because of the thick steam!

Review 39：I didn't approval of the price for the service a received. I didn't feel comfortable in a room or bed where the carpet was dirty. The water took a long time to get hot. I could not swim in the pool because of the fact the carpet was filthy.If the inside had major issues, than the outside could be lacking in areas also. We had to turn off the air condition to avoid the terrible smell which could have been mold buildup. I placed a do not disturb sign on the door and someone still enter the room while we were out. I placed the do not disturb sign on the door again and it was on the room on our return as if someone was entering my room. The fruit tasted sour.

Review 40：The front desk customer service was nice and was willing to correct the issues I was facing. Unfortunately, every room carpet was filthy and the faucets were loose in every room. The door to the first room hit the toilet. The toilets were not stable and did not flush properly.

Review 79：The television coverage was terrible. The complaint was made to staff during our visit in March with no results in Oct-Nov. We left our room at 11:00AM on Oct 31st and returned at 5:00PM. Our room had not been made up. The desk said "housekeeping is gone for the day". Fresh towels had to be picked up at the desk. This will have been our last stay at Cabot Lodge for our frequent trips to Jackson.

Review 81：This poor Cabot was renovated just a few years ago and after all the signs and sounds of construction were gone, the rooms and halls quickly looked outdated, tired, and very used again. That will not stop me from staying there, however.

Review 94：The extensive water damage and cordoned off areas, dampness, I went to floor three which had wall paper rolled down all over, apparently intending to dry it and re-paste it up. There was black mold forming on the paper and walls. The building was damp, dank, mildew and my allergies kicked up while trying to sleep on fourth floor 3 nites. Upon check in when I found out why the lobby was cordoned off and considered leaving but husband was in the hospital and it was closest hotel. I feel a deep discount should have been given to all the guests for the living conditions. I checked under and behind the beds for bed bugs (there were none) and there was a year's accumulation of dust, dirt, popcorn, wrappers, etc. and a lipstick. The place needs a thorough deep cleaning. Linens were very clean.

Review 95：Always love the hospitality time. that is why we pick Cabot Lodge. Staff were nice. This is what redeemed this particular lodge, considering the living conditions of extensive water damage in so much of the hotel. I think for health reasons it should have been closed while they dried it out and repaired. Or they could have notified us and given us a choice of not staying there. Fortunately I was at the hospital most of the time we were there, using it to simply sleep and shower.

Review 107：I didn't like the staff standing near the front desk when I went up to as a question at the desk. I could hear them making remarks in reference to the "hospital is at the hotel". Another commented, "I don't like that". I mentioned it to the front desk receptionist. He said he was sorry. That's it.
