Review 1：Beds were clean, room over all was clean ! Clerk was friendly ! Was the best for the money I've found in a long time !! And I'm a little picky !!

Review 6：The only thing was the bed was hard, and the only amenity is soap, no shampoo. But that was ok and they gave me extra pillows. The ouside was a little run down.

Review 10：When we stayed it was really cold out and very bad winds. There was a big gap underneath our door so all the wind was coming right in so it wouldn't stay very warm. The door also wouldn't lock for nothing!

Review 12：Outdate TV, slow internet, no table, no shampoo, poor housekeeping daily, only took out trash out and changed out towels if on floor, pool was closed for good reason one look would make you sick. Not sure the last time the ice machine was serviced. TV was so old that is had a green/blue hue around all corners, lucking is stayed on during my stay. Different charges at check in that went booked.

Review 14：The room was nonsmoking but still smelled of smoke. I book the room for 3 people and there were only 2 towels. But tge y were kind enough to provide another towel, but I should not have to ask.

Review 16：Smoke free room was smoky. Not enough towels for family of four and night staff didn't have access to towels to give us two more. A/C was dirty and stains on bedspread and blanket. Sheets were a little off white and bed was lopsided and uncomfortable.

The water out the faucet hada color and tasted awful. The beds were hard the pillows uncomfortable.The parking lot turned into a river after it rained with the entire lotbeing under 3-5 inches of water. I am sure there is more but I amforgetting the other issues.

Review 52：My family and I enjoyed our stay at Newport News Inn the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for our vacation stay and very affordable, as well as convienant to shops, food, and other attractions. We definetely will stay here again on our trips to Va.
Review 53：There was nothing good about the Newport News Inn. It was dirty. There was mold on the shower curtain and around the edges of the window (the glass of which looked as if it has never seen a rag or paper towel), there was hair in the shower that did not belong to us...it was just nasty. Also, we could barely open our door because it was so warped. If it hadn't been for my fiance, we wouldn't have been able to get in or out. If you're looking for a place to spend one night and you don' care about the condition of the room, you might want to chance it here. Otherwise, if you're on vacation or with your family, please do yourself a favor and don't bother. This place is cheap for a reason.

Review 55：They are trying to remodel and doing a cheap job of it. The bath tub waspainted with wall paint, the walls had holes in them and they had toomuch furniture in the room. Arrived during normal operating hours andstill had to use the night window to talk to the clerk. Not impressedwith this hotel.
