Review 1：Went to Albany for my birthday. Second time we stayed there. Close to everything. Staff we friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. Pool area looked clean. Had no time to use:( overall wonderful trip.

Review 2：The mattresses’ are too soft / The laundry / dryer machines are, well, from the 1980's.

Review 4：First night, there was a nuisance problem with plumbing and the shower had limited hot water. The hot and cold water supply were reversed on sink (hot on right, cold on left). The second night on our return trip, in a different room, the refrigerator was not fully cold.

Review 5：Location, price and the FREE Breakfast with lots of choices of food: fresh fruit, eggs, pastry, waffles etc. Overall excellent facility and friendly staff. Beds were very comfortable. Easy access once we figured out the local traffic patterns.

Review 6：During the night our room was lit by a big streetlamp in the parking lot. This is not a biggie but my husband needs it to be DARK to sleep and we just thought it was a little weird the drapes don't actually close. Also, the folks in the room next to ours were a little (*ahem*) loud. All in all a great stay, we'd def come back and maybe ask for a room on the back of the hotel.

Review 8：I can only assume that since we booked on this site, we were given a room in the worst possible location, right across housekeeping. At 4:00 am my husband woke up from the noise and at 6:00 we were both up as the staff was going in and out of their supply room and their conversations could be heard quite clearly. We approached the front desk and asked them to change our room as we were booked for an additional night, which they did, but hardly apologetic for the inconvenience caused us. They moved us up to the next floor. Why do they even have a room across housekeeping where carts are rolled in and out in the early morning?

Review 9：Easy on and off Rt.87-Staff friendly, Room and Bathroom very clean. A shopping mall across the street and Restaurants very close. Hot and cold breakfast-plenty of seating.

Review 11：Walls were part thin so you could hear everything happening on each side of you. Room had not been vaccuumed thoroughly because there were still crumbs under the desk. Location of sink outside washroom was not convenient. Decor is getting very dated and walls/doors need repair. Staff not friendly enough.

In addition, there were ants eating food that had been left over on the floor for quite some time.Lastly, the knob on the bathtub was hard to turn. I told the staff about the above and nothing was done about it.

Review 17：Family in the next room arrived at 1:30 in the morning, woke us all up. Walls are paper thin and you could hear everything - conversation, toilets, opening and closing of dresser draws, doors slamming etc. Although this family was disrespectful of other guests staying at the hotel by being so loud late in the night, if the walls were insulated it would have helped tremendously. Bathroom also small.

Obviously a very old hotel due to the smalllness & arrangement of the room, but they did a super job of refurbishing it with very modern up-to-date furnishings and amenities which made a world of difference.. Loved the color and pattern of carpet in the corridors. Arrangement of coffee maker/refrig next to sink was very practical and well thought out. Very nice.

Review 81：Unfortunately we checked into hotel around 5pm and around 7pm there was a fire in the hotel, so I cannot rate all the services. I will say however, that the staff handled everything extremely well. A young black man whom I believe was named Dwayne did a fabulous job at making sure we were safe and comfortable. We were traveling with 2 toddlers and were in the pool at the time the fire alarm sounded. Needless to say we were outdoors in our wet clothes and a little chilly. He did his best to make sure we had ample supplies of dry towels and that we were allowed into a safe secure area ASAP. Although overall it was an unpleasant experience especially for our 3 year old grandson who was very frightened, the staff did a phenomenal job with handling the situation. I would definitely revisit this establishment.

Review 82：Usually an envelope with a receipt will be slid under my door. This wasnot done. Went to front desk and she left me standing there waiting fora long time while she took phone calls. I finally just said "lookI'm here on business and have a schedule, I need to leave." Shestill let me wait. Not impressed whatsoever with that type of customerservice. You need to step it up!
