Reviews for The Legend Maeklong

Review 1:Only the toast- warm bread is not toast.

Review 2:The Ruan rooms are gorgeous- beautifully Thai. The riverside is peaceful. The staff are helpful and cheerful. We came here to visit the Train Market and Amphawa- both of which are fantastic. I am looking for sights for my returning UK visitors and for me! Mieu speaks great English and drew me a map to get to the 2 Baht Ferry.

Review 3:The owner do not take care of the guests: at 8 pm I was back from Ampawa and all teh light were off...internet wifi was not working in the room and nobody there to help me. We had to wait half an hour before the manager came and told us that after 9 pm the restaurant and the lobby are off. More: in the room there was a lot of dust in many places. It seems nobody told the housekeeper how to work properly.

Review 4:the location: it is really riverside; the beauty of the main building.

Review 5:Maeklong (Samut Songkram) is a fantastic town - busy, not very touristyand with the famous "train through the market" four times a day. Thehotel is well situated, a ferry ride away from the town, and the roomsare in traditional Thai teak buildings.Manger has very good english and is very helpful. It is not the cheapest hotel (by Thai standards) but well worth the stay.

Review 6:The room I booked had the bathroom across the corridor and there was noclue to this when using the booking.com website. When I completed thebooking form I expressly asked for a double bed, as this was avalentine's break for my wife and I, and went as far as to tell them tocancel my booking and email me if a twin room was the only option. Afterthe taxi had dropped us off and left to return to Bangkok I found we hada twin room. If you book a tour to see the fireflys etc with this hotelthey add quite a large commision to the price for basically making aphone call for you.

Review 7:It is a really nice resort. The house is loverly. Food is ok.
