Review 1：The bathrooms are a tad small but no different to any other hotel of this shape and size. In the end you don't go to Hawaii to hang out in the bathroom do you - so who cares!

Review 13：Relatively good location. Close to the Waikiki beach, shops and restairants. ABC mart just accross the street for convenience. The staff are nice and prompt to help out when you need help. The rooms are not modern but proper, clean and spacious with a great view over Honolulu, Waikiki. Free coffee in the room.

Review 16：The room is a basic. Wash basin is very old and dis-colored. Carpet in the room need to clean. No free Wifi in the rooms. Free Wifi is only available in the hotel lobby which is also Very poor. To use the Hotel car park you have to pay. And it is very expensive. Not worth for what you pay.

Review 18：If you expect miracles at Maile Sky, you should have your doctor change your medication. There was used soap left in the soap holder on the bathtub's wall. The bathtub must be the size used for Pygmy folk. The room I had was very small. Internet only works in the lobby (you are warned about that upfront though). They want a "deposit" upfront as though you are judged guilty of being in the habit of trashing rooms, like some rock star or something :))) In spite of the fact that they send someone in your room regardless of your wishes if you stay longer than one night (why pay the deposit if you are being checked on???). Anyhow, unless you are so cheap as to put up with all of this and more, look somewhere else.

Review 20：My request for twin beds was taken care of by the staff. The room was clean, as was the bathroom, which is very important to me. Upon arrival the desk staff was gracious, explained the parking and the elevators, which was important as we were on the 42nd floor. I had a total good experience at this hotel. Restaurant food was good, and reasonably priced.

Review 21：The doors of adjacent rooms (and my door) would close loudly. This was quite disturbing when people return late in the evening or leaving early in the morning.

Review 23：We have had so many problems with our room they had to move us 3 times.... The water tap was too weak and leaking. The drain in the shower didnt work correctly. The window was broken and the rain got in got all my suitcase and the floor wet which made the room smell of mold, when they moved us to a different room the safe didnt work and the room smelled even worse like something have died in it. Next time they moved us there were 2 small beds instead of one like we ordered and there was no playstation but we decided to stay because atleast the room didnt smell bad. And no wifi in the room only in the loby which we didnt knew.

Review 57：Hotel is dated, "economy" fixtures and finishes. Lots of sliding windows but they all have limiters that prevent opening more than a few inches. There is also a UV film on the windows that seems to be failing, looks blurry/smeared when looking at the view. Wifi situation is a joke... That is, no wifi in the rooms (plenty of networks available from other hotels), just a cat5 cable you can pay for access and plug into your laptop. Out of luck if you travel only with a phone and tablet like me. TV is also a joke, 17" and from the 90s I think. Like everything else, it was functional.

Review 58：Great value for a room this close to everything, paid less than $100. Partial ocean view was a nice surprise. Location is great, Waikiki beach is a 10min walk and there are plenty of restaurants, shops, and stores nearby. Bus lines too, was able to take a $2.50 city bus in from the airport. Mini fridge and A/C a plus. Clean room, no problems.

Review 59：Women front desk clerks disrespectful & rude! Lamps in room broken! Maintenance took 5 hours and 3 phone calls to come to room to fix and replace broken items! Housekeeping does a very bad job and with bad attitude!

Review 65：-The view from the 38th floor was awesome. -It was 10-15 min walk from Convention Center & Ala Moana. -Although the "extra fees" were unavoidable it did include free movie rentals, and parking. -The hotel resturant is good and theres a convenient store right out side the lobby and a coffee shop with pastries and breakfast. -It was the most affordable hotel for the dates that I needed, if u just need to sleep, shower & get ready its good. There was an ironing board and blowdryer in my room as well.

Review 66：I was working at the time and was told there was Wifi in the rooms. Once I got there this was not the case. I did not get the work done that needed to be done and this ruined my work trip.

Review 67：I did not like that I have booked a room for a price that was not valid as I had to pay extra 10 dollars for tv, wifi and other services that I knew I would not have a chance to use. I asked at 10pm if I have to pay for wifi and TV if I am leaving tomorrow at 6am for the airport and they have told me it is mandatory. Also, I did not like that wifi was in the lobby only even though the hotel announces this fact in advance.

Review 68：Very nice and clean bedroom, not very far away fromm the Waikiki beach and the center of Honolulu.

Review 69：Bedclothes and other such things are changed once per 4 days only as well as vacuum cleaning. During the weather conditions on the 4-th day I stayed in the room in serving hours with DND, so I missed that. And for my whole 8 days my room wasn't cleaned and bedclothes weren't changed, even though sand accidentally brought from the beach was even visible. The soap and the shampoo were updated only twice (initial one and once more) during the whole period. Wi-Fi in the lobby isn't good enough and breaks the connection from time to time, sometimes it was even unavailable at all. The air conditioner is the old one, "Soviet style", is VERY noisy and annoying, especially when trying to sleep. The windows are pretty dirty. Sanitary engineering isn't working well (water collected in the bath while taking a shower because of a bad sink, hot water flew through the bottom faucet while taking a shower using normal temperature water).

Review 70：Great view, jacuzzi available (though I wish it could be open for later hours that just 8 pm), located near few bus stops, including the one connecting to the airport (#19, #20). An ABC store is located on the other side of the road. The beach is not so close, but still OK.

Review 71：Free WIFI in Lobby becomes very slow in the evening as too many people using it. Unique Log in ID and PIN is required for logging in Free wifi which is a bit complicated. Location is away from Beach but it is OK to take the "shopping Trolly", about 15 minutes andis $2 each way to Waikiki beach.

Review 87：Front desk agent was not very accommodating, my reservation was a little tricky, she made me come back with my credit card the next day to run it again for incidentals. She kept telling me she could not link my resv.'s, even though I was standing right in front of her. She spoke to me as if I didn't understand her--truth is I understood her fine, I believed she COULD make the adjustments needed. I didn't divulge that I worked at the 4 seasons in Beverly Hills and am quite familiar with the hotel business. She even scolded me and told me next time get it right! WOW! Made me get back in line! No escape and AC was necessary due to the heat and humidity. The place was shabby, needing repairs and the ancient TV....the kind that has the big rear-end....was blurry and basically useless. And all this for an exorbitant price.! Not a good deal.
