Review 1：On both nights I was woken up between 3 and 4am by loud music. Turns out (at least) on one of the nights they had an "actress" that decided to have an impromptu sing-a-long. Unfortunately, any noise from reception and the lounge/restaurant reverberated straight up the stairs and in to my room. The decor lets the rooms down. The lounge and restaurant areas are beautifully decorated and have a luxurious feel. Unfortunately, the rooms are all vinyl flooring and melonite which makes it look and feel cheap. They also used roller blinds instead of curtains so the sun beams in during the day and the lights from the taxi rank below at night shine straight in with no way to block it.

Review 3：We had upgraded our room to one with a sea view. Whilst the room we were given initially had a lovely view, there was only space for a bed. We asked to be moved and our request was accommodated.

Review 4：Very nice hotel in a good location. The room we were moved into after we complained had a fabulous view and was spacious.

Review 5：1. You can't control the air condition in your room, you have to call. They set the ac to winter mode that means there's no cold air even when my room reads 28 degree! And as a result I have to open the balcony door to refresh the air. 2. Problem is, when I open the balcony door, I hear the noise and singing from bars near. 3. Booked paragliding at front desk and we are told its 300Lira per person. After a short call of negotiation as we demand, the final price is 280LR per person, which is, according to the staff, "seasonal price, normally its 250LR".

Review 6：Good location that's close to the shops and restaurants and also by the harbor. Our room has a nice view facing the mountain with a small balcony. Breakfast is ok.

Review 9：We liked everything, our only niggle was we were woken up early on our second morning by the shower in one of the neighbouring rooms. The sound of this was much louder than the shower in our own ensuite seemed to us. This is the only reason we haven't given top marks for comfort.

Review 10：The hotel is in a lovely location on the harbour, excellent view from the dining room, close to all amenities, restaurants, shops etc. Staff very polite and respectful,friendly and helpful, service excellent. We did have an evening meal in the hotel restaurant and we were very impressed with the service, and the quality of the food at a reasonable price. Our room was comfortable and cleaned every morning.

Review 11：As ever with Turkish hotels, the coffee is awful, so if you want a decent cup with your breakfast, take your own, that's what we do. I think I've had enough Turkish breakfasts to last me a lifetime, but there is a reasonable choice and always some fresh fruit and plenty of fresh breads and pastries. We were unfortunate enough to be in the hotel at the same time as a another group who could apparently only slam their doors, even at 2am. Not the hotel's fault, as it is usually very quiet, but annoying all the same.

Review 12：We've stayed here several times now, just for a night or two, and it is always friendly, comfortable and welcoming. The staff are very helpful, rooms are smart and bathrooms are spotless with excellent showers. The seaview rooms are right on the harbour, so there is always something to watch.

Review 13：Room view not as advertised - half the window is fixed and the blind can't be opened so NO VIEW from half. We ended up squashed in one corner, next to the bed, to be able to see out! No reply from Orka when I queried why only half a view. Breakfast staff never smiled and hardly there although good choice. Restaurant ok if you like expensive 'international' food - never seemed to be many eating there. We didn't. Don't have Turkish coffee - they charge! Says it all.

Review 16：This is one of the worst hotels in which I stayed. None of the requests that I sent to the hotel - and for that I received confirmation was not satisfied. We had an early flight and I asked several times for packed breakfast, but on the check-out the receptionist said there was no such thing.Because some "confusion" of this type of hotel we almost missed my flight! Furthermore, the neighborhood is very noisy - loud music pounding and we could not get to sleep until morning. Staff at тхе restaurant "forget" to include discounts on dinner, which would be offered by the hotel. If you want to relax or to spend good time I do not recommend this hotel!

Review 17：Staff not helpful breakfast is very very poor and omelette ordered in breakfast extra needs to be paid for manager is a liar agreed as I had booked room with children and notified them with booking that 2 children included and aged given showed all communication with email proofs etc but still paid for them he agreed and changed his mind tried to be smart

Review 23：We had issues with our air conditioner everyday for the 3 nights we stayed. One night it was 32 degrees in our room! It was very uncomfortable to sleep. We had numerous ppl come inspect the air conditioning and had to call reception every hour to have it turned back on (Although it is a split system, it is controlled via reception) If they had of simply offered us another room during our stay, this could of been a good hotel.

Review 24：This hotel has a great Restaurant on the harbour! Good views. Clean spacious rooms.

Review 25：We were in a standard room facing the front of the hotel and the air conditioning didn't work properly. We had to ask at reception every time we wanted the temperature changed. Reception staff not particularly helpful and didn't understand why we wanted to be able to change it ourselves. Shower contained a large square shower head, which looked good but ours didn't work so had to use the hand held shower head.

Review 26：Location right on the harbour, nice stroll to the Tuesday market and close to the fish market which is great for an evening meal. Room was very clean and modern.

Review 27：Quality of coffee during the breakfast may be improved. Size of the standard small small room is too small for two adults. AC should be working without switching itself off (if pre-set desired temp is not reached). Design and facilities reminded me of the chain - IBIS hotels (esp, bathroom and the room set up).

AC functions ok (which is essential considering high temps and humidity outside), but shuts off by itself (without reaching desired temp 19-20C in the room) - requires manual turn on. Strengh of WiFi signal satisfactory. Room is clean. Staff are helpful. Overall, strong 3* hotel (similar to IBIS hotels), good value.

Review 29：using booking for over 5 years, first time have a bad experience. Incredibly rude staff, bad room cleaning. The male receptionist was the worst staff ever met in my life.

The room balcony view is fantastic, can see sunrise of harbour view in room! Hotel's restaurant is beyond our expectation, pls try when you stay here, drink and foods are both well. From hotel to Calis beach is around 30TL for taxi, 2TL for bus, not far, that's a fabulous place to see sunset. Room facilities are new, very comfortable.

Review 39：Dancing music comes from the ground floor during the night is quite noisy sometimes. The staff try to sell me the tour for much higher price, so if you want to stay in this hotel, it is better for you to book the tour for yourself directly.

Review 41：Rooms were too hot - we had to sleep with the terrace door open (nice seagull sound effects), breakfast room was like a furnace (I had to sneakily open the terrace door next to our table, before we passed out from heat exhaustion, but the waiter was concerned we would get frostbite - in 18 degrees...) Terrible terrible coffee (has it been near a coffee bean?) - we now bring our own pot and coffee and ask the very nice breakfast waiter to just add the hot water.

Review 42：Great location, across the road from the Paspatur and right by the fish market. Fab close-up view of the harbour, friendly staff, comfy beds, well-equipped, spotlessly clean rooms. Nice breakfast (except for the coffee) with lots of choice, including freshly cooked eggs/omelets etc - you can sit on the terrace in the harbour front in nice weather.

Review 54：The reception is very helpful, she helped us to find lots of useful information and let us informed quite well. And the location is great, near the sea. So even our room was not facing the ocean, we can enjoy the sunshine and beautiful sight seeing from the restaurant. And the dishes offered by the restaurant are delicious, and customers of the hotel have discount in the restaurant. All the people from the hotel and restaurant are friendly.

Review 57：Noisy neighbours (everything echos), whose children were racing around and shouting from about 5am onwards, too warm in the rooms - we ended up sleeping with our patio doors open. This is a perennial problem in Turkish hotels, where the management seem to think the heating needs to be on full blast, despite it being 23 degrees outside! Restaurant staff at breakfast were rather vague to say the least! We've stayed here several times and we know the coffee is dreadful (weak Nescafe pretending to be Americano) - we now bring our own plunger pot and coffee and ask the staff to provide the hot water - they were very obliging but did look rather mystified!

And again too see that wonderfull view after opening the window you would want to open the thick mosquıto net. Don't. Because it is done for the right reason. There are mosquitos around.

Review 63：The location was very central and there was just a walking path between the hotel and the sea. Breakfast was very nice, the rooms were nicely and newly decorated. Very frıendly staff.

Review 64：The table tops in the dining area for breakfast were of a high gloss finish.although they were very clean they had scold/burn marks from hot cups etc being placed on them which had tarnished the surface as you walk in for breakfast the sunlight reflecting on the tables makes them look extremely unsightly and filthy even though they are clean other than that everything is great

Review 68：The hotel is not the same as it was described. It has included Turkish bath in its activities, so we thought the hotel has Turkish bath facility, but when we asked for it, we were told that we should walk to outside facilities. Isn't it cheating because you include something you actually don't have? The reception has only very limited English, and it is very hard to communicate with (and she was not very willing to communicate). We have four people travelling together, so we had two rooms, but one of the room had very strange smell so we asked the reception to change a room for us, then the reception asked the manager (maybe), we were told that the hotel was fully booked. But indeed it wasn't. Then someone came to check our room, and he proved the fact to the manager, finally we were changed to a larger room with sea view. But I am just not very happy with their attitude, they lied to us when we wanted to change room for the first time.

I try to find a nice place, quite, clean and friendly and that is not expensive,I Booked it through booking.com an hour before I showed up. I know it might take a little time for the email to be sent to the hotel. When I turned up the lady at reception was not the friendliest towards non-local people as she was snippy with the guy(non local) in front of me say he had no toilet paper. Then answering the phone and taking bookings while i was left waiting. Any Turkish person was greeted with a smile and hello as they walked past the reception. Once she got back to me there was 2 Turkish people waiting behind me and said my room would be ready in half an hour, I pointed out that on the website rooms are available from 1400 onwards. Was taken into the managers office and looked after straight away by the Manager who was very nice and had a room straight away. Why didn't they just give me this room?Working while traveling generally involves wifi connection where ever I go, the whole basis I have on booking a hotel. On the website it states wifi is everywhere in the hotel, but when I got to my room there was no signal at all in my room,. You have to go downstairs to the restaurant, not ideal. Questioned it at the desk and told it would get better later. It did not because you can not receive any signal.I went down to the restaurant with laptop and to eat and work. After sitting for 10 minuets I got up to get menu. After another 25minutes she came over to tell me the kitchen closed 20 minutes ago.Screaming children running around the restaurant in the morning having breakfast. Changing nappies at the table beside you.Creates of glass/bottles being smashed while stocking the bar. Crates and kegs dragged through the restaurant.No shampoo or shower gel.
