Review 1：Great place for a weekend gateaway. Rooms are super clean and the furnishing is so adorable. Breakfast is delicious. Highly recommend this place. I Would say it's a "home away from home".

Review 4：Nothing. The only inconvenience is that we got later than the official time to check in and it took us few minutes to contact the owner, but it wasn't long. Great location if you land in Treviso airport and plan to go to Slovenia.

Review 5：Ver clean room and cozy surrounded by nature. They prepared an amazing breakfast for us which was included in the price of the room. The guesthouse is calm and quite, very close to Škocjan caves, Lipica, Postojna, Predjama castle... A very good choice.

Review 6：Only a couple of tiny details, which really would not detract from a lovely stay: no soap dish, nowhere to keep the hand towel by the sink and no hair dryer. Really not deal brakers though.

Review 7：We were most fortunate to be upgraded (at no extra cost) but peeping in other doors it looked as though all the rooms were lovely. The breakfasts were great but the evening meals were outstanding, though it was a little unnerving not to be able to choose from a menu. We were told in plenty of time what the menu would be should we choose to eat elsewhere and as each course arrived, Manuela described what Marissa, her mother, had cooked for us. Each course was made and delivered with care and passion for local produce and delicious food. My advice is not to try other local eateries - nothing compares.

Review 9：Very quiet place near the forest and very close to the highway. Lots of parking space. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was very tasty and nicely served. I would definitely stay there again.

Review 40：Very nice place conveniently located and easy to find with a car.Room was very spacious, modern, clean elegant and comfortable with cable tv and wi fi that worked well. Owners were very friendly and do things to a high standard.The in house restaurant is fabulous.The food is excellent and better than some international 4* hotels I have experienced.This coupled with the great local wine makes it very,very nice.Then the next day ...breakfast...4 light courses but very professionally done .Only 2 hours from Venice and literally 10 minutes to the Italian border this is just a great place to stay.Highly recommended.

Review 41：I had a fantastic time. The family who owns this guesthouse are verykind and accommodating people. The breakfast comes out in four courses(not a buffet, its better!) and the dinner is the same (with the fourthcourse being dessert). Review 47：It's not related to the hotel, but the GPS sent us to the wrong entrance to the house. Don't follow the GPS directions if it indicates you to get into small streets. The hotel is nearby a main road. Inside the room, wi-fi connection was quite poor

Review 48：The owners were really friendly. We got an upgrade for free. The room was really nicely decorated, clean and new. Very comfortable mattress. Breakfast was really good, with home made and fresh products.

Review 49：Too few wardrobe hangers for a longer stay, fresh shampoos and gels but no soap, spa bath had run out of disinfectant in the spa system so produced a scum until it had been run through. Wi-fi connection was temperamental.

Review 60：Everything ! From the outstanding design of the room, to the exquisite breakfast and the kindness of Manuela and her mother we loved everything. Manuela is a fantastic person. She will give you the best advices for the best food around and the nicest wines to taste with a delicious smile. The room are very spacious and luxuous. The furnitures and the design are incredibles : a pure heaven. We had no noise at all and we had very nice sleep. But let me give you a good exemple of the quality of the management : Few days after our booking Manuela send me an email saying that she will upgrade us because we are having two babies and she wanted to offered us the best possible comfort. Waow !!!! So to sum up if you are looking for the best place in the region : this is the place to go !

Review 62：That was my fifth stay at this Hotel, the previous times for business:the latter for vacation with my wife. It would be too long list ofcompliments and good things to say, so: all excellent!

As the restaurant was closed that night, the owner told us about a restaurant in the next village: it was excellent too! Breakfast served at your table and was fantastic!

Review 76：The house is a fabulous location to visit the Škocjan Caves and the Lipizzaner horses farm, both attractions being really close. However, this place is not a mere base for activities but much more. The building has been restored and decorated with care - and the details with guests go much beyond the standard obligations of a high level guesthouse. The breakfast is gorgeous -prepared with local and home made products, often grown by the family- and the service fabulous. It is also worth to note that there is a restaurant -unfortunately we arrived too late to taste it but we heard nice words about. Conclusion: I recommend it without hesitation.

Review 77：Wifi was not available on our devices, iphone and ipad, unless we sat on the stairs beside the wireless router. As I am a New Zealander, I drink a lot of tea. I was initially dismayed to discover that there were no facilities for making my own in the room. This is standard in the UK and Australasia. I did appreciate the hot water being supplied when I asked for it.

Review 78：Manuela was the kindest and most gracious hostess we encountered in our 3 week trip. The four course breakfast was exceptionally delicious! I'm not sure if she overheard me wishing I could take some of the homemade cherry conserve to share with a friend we were yet to visit, or whether it was pure chance, but Manuela gifted us with a small jar as we were checking out.... Mmmm. The sweet memories of Guesthouse Apollonia were savoured in equal measure with the conserve. The Guesthouse is aesthetically charming and comfortable and we slept well in its quiet and peaceful surrounds; so important when exhausted and suffering jetlag. We are keen to reacquaint ourselves with Guesthouse Apollonia in the future.
