Review 1：Room was cold, smelled of stale smoke. Staff were not very friendly. For a very few dollars more a better room and breakfast can be had

Review 3：Cigarette burns on 2 bedspreads, a burn on the toilet seat, and a cigarette butt found on top of the air conditioner in a "non-smoking" room. The room was not properly cleaned and I got sick during my stay.

Review 5：Young man who checked me in was very indifferent. He didn't put in my wake up call, so I was almost late for my early flight.

Review 13：The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The pillows too fat for comfort. The bathroom was literally 3 ft. By 5 ft. + room for the tub. Smallest bathroom we have ever seen in a motel. The lighting was inadequate except for in-bed reading. Not a good value for the price. There were cigarette butts everywhere in the parking lot.
Review 14：Actually, I liked nothing other than it was close to moderately priced places to eat and was easy to locate.

Review 19：Overall the price was the best deal. At $55 in Madison, WI for an overall experience that was better than what I expected, this was not as nice as a Marriott but I saved about $100. Traveling solo I had no issues with this place but if my wife was traveling with me she would have found this not quite up to her standards.
Review 20：The room was not cleaned properly. There was a lot of old food under the bed that was never vacuumed, and the dog ended up getting into it (which we didn't realize until later)

Review 22：Pretty much only booked here because EVERYthing else in Madison was booked that weekend and we needed a room w/2 beds. Older motel with 2 levels, we stayed Wed-Sun. They allow pets, so there was a big pit bull next door that barked fairly often, although it was quiet during the night. Actually, our room was the end on the back side, and for once I didn't need earplugs to sleep at a hotel. Motel was "recently remodeled" but I'm not sure what was remodeled except the beds and linens seemed newer. The walls still needed painted and the bathroom was about the smallest I've ever seen. The A/C wasn't very strong, I'm sure it will struggle in the summer to keep up. Housekeepers would stand outside the rooms for their cigarette breaks and we had to close the window to not smell their nasty smoke, and there were cigarette butts all over outside the rooms. Room had an older smell to it too. Towels were thin and scratchy. We could not connect to the free wifi and were told they could "give us an 800 number to call if we wanted." Overall, I'd stay here again only if I HAD to.
Review 23：1st room didn't have anything in it. Had to upgrade just to get a coffee pot and refrigerator.

Review 27：When we checked in the receptionist couldn't find our reservation. When we finally got a room, we opened the door and our king size mattress was standing straight up on top of the box spring. Bed undressed, dirty towels all balled up on the chair. We got another room and this one has looked like some kind of weather stripping on the floor and there are little leaves on the floor. In the bathroom there was hair in the tub, not just one and not ours. The room was not space like it showed in the picture. More like a very small efficiency.

Review 36：I had a 9am confirmed check in time, but couldn't check in until 2pm. The room had holes in the walls, it smelled like mildew and it was dirty. It was so bad we didn't stay in the room until it was time to go to bed. I don't usually complain but this was really awful!!!

Review 38：Great location - lots of shopping and restaurants very close at hand. Hotel is distant enough from the freeways to be relatively quiet. Staff is friendly and helpful and competent. Hotel hires people with disabilities but who are very friendly and competent at their jobs - this is great to see.
Review 39：The bathroom doorknob was broken so we could not close the bathroom door. The deadbolt on the front door was loose so we did not feel too safe because of this. All the hotels in Wis Dells was booked so this was the only hotel available.
Review 40：There were some loud young people who were there to party who stayed the first couple of night downstairs beneath us. After the criminal element left, our stay felt safer and was much more pleasant.
Review 41：My sons and I stayed for one week during the first week of July (USA Cycling National Road Championship) and had a really nice stay. Room was clean, beds were comfy, staff was very helpful, tv reception and wifi were excellent. The hotel is located in a great part of town with lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Our family will definitely stay here again if we ever travel to Madison again.
Review 42：The room didn't have a hair dryer, Housekeeping did not clean under the beds, had to move from one room to another due to the AC not working properly, housekeeping did not replenish soap or shampoo during extended stay, the toilet seats are uncomfortable, the Wi-Fi was spotty at best.

(They arrived at 6:30 p.m.) The towels are thin and could be used as an emery board they are so coarse. I kept getting kicked off the internet and having to switch to a different wi-fi network. I would not recommend this location.
