Review 1：Great location for walking and seeing the sunrise over Fethiye. Lots of interesting activities with boats to watch. Loved the close proximity to the boat yard. I went in winter so many boats onland being repaired. Breakfast was really good.

Review 2：The balcony partially overlooks a shipyard, so during the day it can be noisy. The hallway smelled like sewage at one point, but the problem was resolved quickly.

Review 3：The front desk staff were always available and always helpful. They provided us with maps and recommendations of things to see/do. The location is good. The area is very quiet at night. It is not quite in old town, but you can walk there in about half hour. Or you can take a mini bus for only 2 lira per person ... they stop by the hotel very frequently and are a wonderful form of transportation! The restaurant has lots of international food options for lunch/dinner and overlooks the harbour. You can feed the ducks and fish right from your table, which is quite entertaining. The breakfast was large with many options. Our TV did not work at one point, assistance was sent right away. They even offered us a different room if they were not able to fix it. The problem was fixed shortly. The pool side is absolutely amazing! The pool was warm enough to swim in, even in October. It was immaculately clean and very relaxing.

Review 12：On many days the number of hotel guests were outnumbered by the ex pats which isn't a problem as long as those paying to stay at the hotel are able to get a sun bed and to enjoy the facilities without being disturbed by the local gossip being broadcast from one side of the pool to the other, listening to moans and groans about the wifi and relationship breakdowns. Would like the restaurant staff to be a little more attentive and it would be great if a pool service was offered.

We weren't informed about this, we couldn't have dinner and the noise was disturbing. We had a misunderstanding about the booking (1 or 2 p) we had to pay too much for the room.

Review 27：Marina Vista is a tourist-type hotel. It overlooks the bay and is likely cates next to a working boatyard. This was no problem for us (my husband is fascinated by all things to do with boats) but can be a bit noisy during the day. The hotel is a bit of a way from the main town centre but there is a very regular and cheap dolmus bus service to and from the front door. Pool area and garden is very nice and breakfast was plentiful. Rooms were very comfortable and aircon worked well. Overall a very nice and relaxing stay.

Review 37：All the staff were so fantastic and friendly, the cleaning staff, night staff, reception staff, even the chefs. Its like you are part of the family. Breakfast is fantastic, so much choice from local breads to cereals and cooked omlettes. The a la carte evening menu is just as good. The bedrooms are spacious with beds you never want to get out of. The pool is lovely, with a shallow and a deep end, plenty of sun loungers and the location is only about 5 minutes away on the dolmus from the centre of Fethiye.

Review 44：The hotel was located further out than we thought (The walk into town is a little too far. This was fine though as we used the small bus that you can flag down outside to get in and out of Fethiye - 2tl per person (much cheaper than a taxi)). Lots of people from outside of the hotel used the facilities which meant that often sunbeds in the sun were taken up and actual paying guests of the hotel couldn't use. 2 staff members were great and very attentive, the others were less so. Ordering a drink from the bar in the daytime was like a surprise to the staff and felt like an effort - Never any change to give, left standing at the bar when a staff member could see that I was waiting but was sat down in a group of his friends, let me leave before chasing after me to ask what I wanted. Could not connect to WiFi - not even a signal in room.

We left items in wardrobe by mistake and they have despatched them to us. Thank you!!!

Review 50：Needed staff to go the extra mile with a query that they let us down on re bus schedules .... ended up missing a bus and having to wait 6 hours for the next one as a result. They rang a few times, couldn't get through and then gave up on finding out. Also found wifi to be a bit slow and difficult to access. Would be great if filtered coffee was part of breakfast and not an extra to pay for

Having stayed here for 6 weeks every year since it opened, this hotel feels like a second home.The atmosphere is so relaxed and staff make you feel as if you're one of the family. Food is excellent, breakfast buffet is superb.... large selection of traditional Turkish food and continental breakfast items. In my opinion the restaurant at the Marina Vista is now the best venue in Fethiye for an evening meal. The setting, on the deck by the sea, overlooking the bay is magical and the food and service is excellent.... and reasonably priced. Don't be put off by reviews! Mosquitos are NOT a problem as this hotel regularly has it's rooms and restaurant sprayed to keep them away.

Review 57：We stayed here at the end of a 3-week trip in Turkey and found that the modern conveniences and large room were a great way to relax after a full day of driving and sightseeing. The pool was great too. The location is about a 30-minute walk from the city center. We took the dolmus into town at night for dinner and walked back. There are boat yards on either side of the hotel and we enjoyed seeing the progress made on our nightly stroll. The restaurant seating overlooks the water and a small boat dock and was a beautiful place for a cocktail or breakfast.

Review 96：We had booked at the Marina Vista to make sure we were away from the noise of the town. Unfortunately, when we checked in we weren't advised that there was to be an engagement party in the hotel on our final night. The noise was horrendous and it was impossible to sleep! While reception advised me that the music would finish by 10.30 pm, then by 11.30pm, the drummers were still going at 12.15am. Be aware that the hotel will bill your credit card when you check in, not when you check out as most other hotels do. This was a problem for me, as I wanted to use a different credit card to pay for the hotel.

Review 97：The location is fantastic, as the hotel is situated on the outskirts of a working boat repair yard. It is fascinating to watch the men working on the boats, but be warned that they sometimes work quite late! The rooms look out over the marina and towards the east, so the sunrises are beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast was adequate.

It was off-season and I guess the management of the hotel and the staff were tired, so is the room conditions. The room carpets were really disgusting. Perhaps it could be a good choice during season time. I wouldn't pick this hotel just for its location. It definitely needs complete new room conditions and cleaning staff training.

Review 101：Hotel has a good location. The thing is Fethiye center is a mess. Filled with ugly buildings and nothing interesting. But the location of the hotel, which is the end part of the bay is quiet and still has some natural beauty. Also the traditional gulet boat builders area is fantastic experience to see and being very close to it.

Review 112：The top floor rooms although having a nice view of boats in the bay and Fethiye in the distance look directly over a repair boat yard. Fortunately work did not start before 8am and was not very noisy during our stay. Rooms on the two lower floors only had a view of a tall hedge obviously grown to hide the boat yard. On balance the top floor is best. The hotel is rather a long way out from central Fethiye, just about walkable. However Dolmus taxis run right past the hotel frequently for a fixed fare of 2TLY.

Review 113：The room was comfortable and a good size with modern furnishings. Very large double bed. Tea & coffee making facilities. Top floor rooms have a large balcony. Breakfast is taken right on the edge of the marina boardwalk, very nice to watch the fish swimming whilst having breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful.
