Review 1：The room was not clean. There were cigarette burns in the bathroom, when I asked for non smoking. The bed felt like I was sleeping in cardboard. The pillows, if you call them that, were so flat I slept on my hands. The walls were so thin I could hear the couple down the hall (I guess they were making a baby).

Review 3：The floor was dirty. I had to ask twice for towels because they didn't put any in the room when housekeeping came our second day there. When I went to purchase two days of Internet service the employee was not friendly and didn't explain anything. I also had to continually re entering the password to get back on the Internet. I asked and received an additional pillow that was awful. It was ripped and all bunched up. Super uncomfortable.

Review 7：WiFi was in and out -- as if the router was overloaded and so kicked me off now and then. Annoying, especially since WiFi wasn't free, and I even paid extra for "high speed". The floor of the fiberglass shower stall was cracked.

Review 8：The room next to me (115) was partying until after 3am. They weresneaking people in the room through the window. They were blastingmusic, knocking on doors and yelling in the hall and not one person forthe staff came to tell them to be quiet. There was no coffee pot in theroom, no shampoo or soap in the shower, no alarm clock, the halls lookedlike they haven't been vacuumed in days and it smelled. I will neverstay at another motel 6 again

Review 10：The room was cavernous, and I openly disliked how it was set up. I couldn't set a uniform temperature. First floor corridor reeked of tobacco. Free coffee was bad, and the WiFi was paid.

Review 11：Air conditioner was good. The bed was comfortable. Flat screen TV. Enough power outlets. Stuff shut down neighbours who were noisy.

Review 12：It was nasty, although the rooms seem renewed they didn't vacuum or clean the floor. There was dirt on lamps, wall, door. They did not have another room available so I ended up mopping the floor myself result: a deep black towel (was white before I started)

Review 15：Very basic hotel but it was exceptionally clean with very nice employees. Loved being able to do our laundry right in the hotel and not have to go find a laundry mat.

Review 16：The main hallway had a musty wet dog order. The room was sort of tidy, but definitely not "clean." There were finger marks all over the bathroom door, the duvet had obvious and pretty gross looking stains, and there was visible, sticky dirt caked to the "night stand." Just unclean enough that I'd want to shower elsewhere. The room also had a slight cigarette smell despite being a non smoking room.

The sound of the ice machine and other customers at all hours of the night was a disruption to our sleep. Security was non-existence. As a mature Canadian couple we were unable to fine a restaurant to have dinner after we arrived. No phone book, no city directory, just an order in menu, which may be fine but not what we were looking for at the end of a day of cross country traveling. This was a very disappointing booking.

Review 33：The location. We thought the price was $71.00 Canadian funds (as per the booking) but we were charged $71. 00 American funds and ended up paying over $90.00 Canadian. My husband was furious.

Review 36：The hotel listed "WiFi" as an amenity along with TV and Free Parking; When I got there I had to pay for the service. If there is a charge for a service it's cost should be listed plainly. Additionally we had problems with the toilet that needed to be fixed and the coffee was undrinkable in the morning. I could not in good conscience recommend Hotel 6 to anybody.

Review 44：Overall, it's only bearable if you're passing through Albany and needs a place to rest and leaving early morning, but not made for even a 2 night stay: Stains on towels, on mattress itself, paid wifi and it's slow plus the access is for one device only. I was scared of the drunk people around and sometimes I couldn't sleep from their noises, they were a lot! The rate announced outside the motel was much lower than the rate we booked with on booking.com

Review 52：Hallway reeked of marijuana and tobacco the moment we walked in. A second after that, we heard a couple having extremely loud sex, it was still audible when we entered our room, and until we decided to sleep.

Review 62：No shampoo is given, only soap, and shampoo has to be purchased in a vending machine. The walls are not that well isolated and noise penetrates easily.

Review 63：Treatment by the hotel staff was exceptional, the room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. On booking.com I ordered a "luxury king size room" with an extra-size bed. During check-in, I verified with the girl in the reception that the room has this feature of a king-size bed. After checking in, we discovered the room has only a single twin bed. I returned to the reception and angrily demanded the girl there to either change the room as promised to a king size, or to give my money back. Another lady at the reception, who identified herself as Beth, the hotel manager, intervened immediately and offered a 50% off the hotel room price when I’ll check out, if I keep the room. She warned me the hotel is fully booked and she is unable to offer me another room. I took her on her offer which proved right – when I checked out the next morning, the girl at the reception told me that the manager just called in and instructed her about the 50% rebate, that was on the full amount after taxes(!). When we entered the room there were no pillows there, and when I went to reception about that, Beth, the manager, immediately left her post at the reception and rushed out to bring two new pillows and the pillow cases, which she brought in person to the room.

Review 64：The price for the room was great but the accomodations were very poor for example, the spreads on the beds had all kind of stains on them,the shower in my room didn't work, and they had one clerk so the line was backed up and I had to wait 30 mins.

Review 65：I liked the location, the price of the room, the bed had several pillows, plenty of towels and wash cloths in the bathroom and they were very nice about giving me a late check out.

Went seven days without towels or any kind of room service. The wifi kept cutting out and the attendant was crabby about issuing a new code. Internet was alway freezing up after hours when no attendant was availible (paying for internet and then only having it half of the time). The man standing in the window at night smoking a cigarette naked. The TVs that only get 18 channels that seem to play the same shows over and over. I needed a room for 3 weeks and after the end of the first week I left for another chain.

Review 77：There has been a vast improvement in the facilities and the staffing. Iv stayed at this motel a few years ago and was not at all pleased with the facility or staff. This time there was nothing to complain about. Great turn around!!!

Review 78：The Motel was what you'd expect for a budget price. I'm not too high maintenance when it comes time to motels, but #1 it has to be clean and #2 it can't smell like cigarettes. This room was caked in cigarette smell.

Review 84：No hair dryer which I thought odd. No microwave in the room but there is one in the main lobby that can be used. No fridge either so I put my perishables on ice. Wouldn't recommend for extended stay but one night is certainly good.

Review 85：Traveled to Albany for a concert so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a room. The motel just experienced an 8 hour electric outage which came back on minutes before I arrived. Despite this, there were rooms that were ready and while I didn't get the King bed I had hoped for, the two queens were quite sufficient. Modern room with hardwood floors that were a bit sticky if barefoot.

Toilet handle came off and pump chain was not cut short enough and got under flapper, making toilet water fill continuous. 6. Bathroom had no waste basket or tissues. 7. WIFI had a pay screen which was not clear as to how to activate and took two (2) hours to get working after code from front desk received. 8. Interior corridor looked like a prison. 9. Front desk had no list of area restaurants or other services as hotel was "working on one." 10. Door lock would not work until three (3) card swipes until new card from front desk received, and dead bolt would not retract unless interior handle pushed up or down. 11. Walls so thin they allowed sounds through walls. 12. Hotel obviously sold a smoking room as non-smoking, which is fraudulent. Hotel chain should be owned by a hotelier, not a hedge fund, which evidently is milking its customers for future sale of chain. Management's written response to my complaints were that above problems would be "addressed," but there is no abatement or rebate for lack of a clean room and night's sleep.

Front desk tried to solve problems by issuing another key card, printing a Google list of nearby restaurants, not charging for third adult and WIFI, but most of room maintenance issues (see next) were under management's control. 2. Location and price, if the room were clean and free of smoke, were good, but other online reviews, on which I relied, were not at all what we experienced. 3. Wood floors prevented even more mustiness.
