Review 1：Needed updating...older linens and towels Heating system was hard to figure out - broken switch room with 2 doubles was small and not easy to move around in towel with word "boots" written on it inside the door - provide a boot tray instead of a towel!

Review 3：The room was not very quiet and we heard noise from adjoining rooms. The bathroom was small and the sink faucet would not turn completely off.

Review 5：The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Everything worked. You can park in front of the room and there is no 2nd floor. Older motel but kept up for its age. Would recommend to friends.
Review 6：It is what it is! Barking dogs in room next to us, left alone in room. I thought, this might be a place where people were staying that had been helped out by a charity because they were homeless, we booked online, nothing we could do but just get out of the room and stay out doing things, get cleaned up, left early am in the morning, to get out of there! I would never go back! Did not want to sleep there overnight.
Review 7：Parking is way to small. The tree and bush outside of room 1 needs to be trimmed. I hardly get inside my car. There is no reason to fight them to get in your car. The shower head is terrible. You can not adjust the cold water in the shower, cause it almost does not exist. Almost burnt me with the hot water.

Review 9：Had to stand on a chair to adjust the air conditioning. Even then I couldn't see the controls since I'm very short. No bath towel the first night. Room interior is not fresh.

Review 13：It's old, with poor wifi. Could not effectively use the computer. Gave up. The air conditioner worked but was a bit buzzy. The drain in the shower was probably plugged with hair as it took a long time to drain. The faucet controls in the shower were very old. It did work, but I think that the controls were the original to the motel. So about 45 to 55 years old.
Review 14：It was fairly cheap and clean. Great location. Good sized refrigerator. I did sleep ok, as I was very tired. So if I slept good that is the biggest plus I can give.
Review 15：The beds were super firm and hard to sleep in. The lady at the counter was a little abrupt and not very friendly. There were a lot of rough looking people around. It felt like a 30 day motel more than a traveler's motel.
Review 16：There was a magazine in the room which told us about the local eateries so it did not take us long to find dinner. There was ice available in the office so we were able to refill our cooler.

Review 33：Awfully overheated room with non-working remote controle, the temperature was so high that we had to use the AC as well. Such a waste of energy!!!! We talked to the staff, they said it will get better but it did not and later in the night there was noone to help. Low wifi as well.

Review 39：A friendly well-eqipped budget motel which was an ideal place to stay overnight while passing through the area. The owners had just installed a new WiFi aerial and the WiFi reception was excellent throughout our stay.

Review 43：Very busy in the early morning as many construction workers stay there. Most are very aware of the people who are not early risers, but some are a little noisy when starting up their trucks.
Review 44：The staff is the very best. There is a Kroger's store across the street, restaurants not more than a block away, a very good selection of travel information available in the office. My wife and I will stay there again when in the area.
Review 45：Everything from staff to location was perfect. If you don't need a 5* hotel this is the place to go. The rooms were very clean and we had everything we needed for a great vacation. The rates were also very good and made it easy to stay an extra day. Look forward to staying there again.
Review 46：Parking area very small. Had to park in a lot on the other side of the motel. Office is only open from 8am to 10pm. Only place to get ice is in the office so if you wanted to get on the road early you couldn't get any ice for the road. We needed to get up early on Monday, Sept 1st. The motel did not have any wake up calls. They said they were not on a computer system and no one came in until 8am. Beds were hard as rocks. Building is very old and bathroom fixtures not in good working order. Sink dripped all the time. The second morning there were long black hairs in the bathroom sink. Not ours, we both have short grey hair. All in all it was not a good experience.

Review 48：Cleanliness Front office staff very friendly and cooperative...provided extra pillows upon request. If you travel a lot while in Cortez, this is a clean and cheap hotel located near places to eat. The place was crowded. This is really a basic place to sleep and not much more. Bring your own toiletries and bath towels
Review 49：I liked that there was a microwave and small refrigerator in the room. It was tidy and the wi-fi was fast. There was also cable TV and it was charming in a way that suggests "time warp" Parking right outside your door and friendly staff.
