Review 1：The 24 hr pool was great!the staff was amazing. Best hotel experience I have ever had. Great family friendly hotel. Scott, was great at accommodating our needs and helping our family have the best experience ever. We had 3 rooms with 6 kids and they treated the kids so nicely and went out of their way to help us feel welcome and meet our needs. We will definitely use this hotel again and definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to Holland, MI. Thanks for a great experience.

Review 2：Hot tub was closed. No plug in bathtub for a hot bath instead of a dip in the hot tub.

Review 3：All staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was a nice mix of choices. Little extras like the 'grab-n-go' bag and toy bears for kids made a big impression. The lodge theme is well done.

Review 4：We attempted on 4+ occasions to work with staff to get a group rate, and never had our calls returned. Highly frustrating and definitely not necessary.

While we were gone we had placed the locked over the door. Someone had tried to enter our room. The door was cracked open when we returned. Blankets on the bed would be appreciated.

Review 12：The room was clean when we arrived. I like having the exercise room available 24hrs. Appreciated the "to go" bags. Staff was accommodating.

Review 27：You're definitely paying "resort" rates for staying in Holland, MI. This caliber hotel might be half the price elsewhere in the country. It's the little things that kind of add up. Like exposed wiring behind the sink light fixture. One of the bathroom switches - presumably for the fan - didn't do anything. And the shower curtain was hung inside out (no biggie - just evidence of a lack of attention to detail). The breakfast room was very crowded each time we used it - apparently everyone else was on our same schedule.

Review 28：The bed and pillows were quite comfortable. We had a Jacuzzi suite, so the bathtub was huge, and it had a lovely rain showerhead. It's always nice having a fridge and microwave in the room. And because we were on the ground floor, we could access our room from the central hallway or directly from the parking lot, which was really convenient.

Review 29：The WIFI was extremely poor. The television wouldn't work and when I called to the front desk I was told just to unplug and reconnect the cable box, this did nothing. We didn't get maid service one day so had to call for at least some fresh towels, and the carpeting was very damp when we got there like it had just been cleaned.

Review 31：Yes, we booked a suite for the family and what I got was "sorry" we only have the one the first floor with an army of Betty Ford members parading around the parking lot..If you're going to have a pool, have one that can accommodate more than three folks...otherwise just take a bathtub and stick it in the cement if that is your idea of a pool. Same with a hot tub... I've had bigger glasses of water I've drank than what I saw that you call a hot tub....The greatest fear you should have is when a customer has a bad experience and that customer now becomes indifferent to your property,,,,,I will not stay with you guys again,, only if I'm force to. At least I will not have to sleep in my car , which I would think about first ...

Review 33：The first thing the desk person said was we are full if you are looking for a room. I told her I had a reservation and she laughed and said not anymore we are booked. I showed her the reservation and she said she could not find it and then she said let me check my stack of papers here. Oh here it is. You do have a room but not this one. We did not get the room we reserved.

The tv was broken as well as the exhaust fan in the bathroom. Their was a quarter inch gap at the top of the entrance door. We also came back to find that one of the staff had been in our room and not closed the door all the way.

Review 44：- Bad Iron box and stand - It was my anniversary day and i had booked a king room with spa.The front desk guy while checking in was a rude, lying fraud. He gave us the keys to 2 bed queen room. I checked the room, came back and told him i had booked and paid for a kind room with spa. He told us that booking.com messed up and sent them the wrong order. He pretended to call booking.com in front of us and told that they will call him back and he would call me in return to clarify. I didnt receive any call from him that day. Next morning i called booking.com and they told me they had sent the right order. They called the hotel and a different front desk guy then apologized and confirmed that the right order was sent initially. He told us he is not sure why the room was swapped out. I am certain it is the handy work of that front desk guy who checked us in. He was kind of disrespectful from the beginning, he didn't even tell us where the room was when he gave the keys. And when i told him about the wrong room, he acted like it is my problem and said he has no other room available and behaved like i can take it or leave it. It is not a case of legitimate error in system, but a fraudulent guy who gave our room to someone else and lied to us that booking.com messed up when he clearly knew that is not the case.

Review 50：When I walked into my room it wasn't cleaned very well. There was still food in the fridge and I didn't have a clean ice bucket. I used the hot tub twice during my stay and both times there were no clean, dry towels in the pool area. The T.V. in the room wasn't working properly either.

Review 52：Immediately after check in, we right up to our room. The room was FREEZING!!!!! The ehat was not on. We were only going to be in there for about 45 minutes, but it never warmed up quick enough. I should not have had to put my coat on in my room and leave it on the entire time. This was awful, especially when the temp outside was bitter cold. We will stay here again, but please, do not turn off the heat/air conditioner for your guests.

Review 53：This was our 3rd or 4th time staying here. The young man that checked us in and checked us out was very pleasant. I noticed what an extremely hard worker he was, the morning of our check out he was shoveling and getting breakfast ready. There was so much snow....again!

This was to be a semi honeymoon get away we never was able to get away, We did splurge. The reason for disappointment.. Review 56：The breakfast was self serve. Eggs are awful and pastries were stale. The butter was rancid . Told staff and they replaced butter but next morning the butter container was still rancid smelling. Butter and Cream for coffee were improperly stored. Needs to be kept cold. To be fair I told checkout staff on checking out.

Review 57：The hotel is in a good location it is clean fairly new. Good pool and hot tub. Reasonably priced. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was comfortable and large. Good stay overall.

Review 58：Updated with a fresh no clean decor -modern with a touch of outdoorsy. Cute carved bears on the exterior. Loved the two doors for our unit - one leading to the interior and an exterior door right at our parking spot. Easy in and out.

Review 74：We reserved a double queen room and were upgraded to the Luxury Fireplace Suite for only $40 more. It was a fantastic room, very spacious, and loved that the kids had their own tv. Loved that the pool was open 24 hours, without restriction for children. Even better was fenced in outdoor patio with the hammocks. We LOVED the hammocks. The Manager even gave us free ice cream and free godiva chocolates.

Review 77：My husband and I stayed in the Holland area for our anniversary getaway. The hotel is beautiful, quiet, and welcoming. Our room was very clean. Breakfast had a nice variety of choices and a very pleasant environment in which to eat. And all of this for a very reasonable price!

Review 78：Had a minor leak in sink drain that we reported but was never fixed. TV didn't work one day but it was because local cable provider had to do upgrades room-by-room.

Review 80：Our cable went out the day after we had checked in. When we called down they said it went out at 12:30 that night. Several hours later I went to the front desk to ask if they knew when the cable would be back on. They said they were working on it. Come to find out they had to install boxes in each room. We felt they should have taken care of the rooms that had people in them first. We were on of the last people to get our box. They shower was in bad shape. The caulk had fallen out and there was mold growing in the cracks. The pool was out of towels when my husband went to the hot tub so he had to walk through the hotel to the top floor dripping wet.

My son loved the pool and hot tub and we both liked that there was a shower in the bathroom to rinse the chlorine off after swimming. A hot breakfast served in the morning was definitely an added bonus!

Review 85：I booked our room 45 days in advanced. It was a king spa suite. When I checked in and went to the room it was a junior suite. Apparently all the king spa suites were already taken. The hotel blamed Booking.com. I don't know who was to blame all I do know is that my room wasn't correct. Very disappointing.

Review 86：We were there for a wedding. The staff allowed us to use the breakfast room for about an hour. They researched the wedding location for us. We did not have to check out until about 12:45 so that we could dress for the wedding. They were really great!
