Review 2：Excellent location. Easy to find. Good welcome. Efficient and helpful staff. Good choice of breakfast. Very clean. We went in October and it was wonderful to lie with the balcony door open and the sound of the sea singing us to sleep.

Review 3：Bed was hard. A bit noisy. The doors slam hard in other rooms. The windows must stay open since no air conditioning. No elevator so you must take your bags up one flight of stairs.

Review 5：I tried to change from a double room to a single a month before I arrived which would have saved me several hundred $. I was told they weren't able to accommodate me since I was on a booking.com room. when I arrived there were 2 other people from my group who had requested a double so it would have been possible to change. while I appreciate the convenience of booking.com it definitely cost me in this situation.

It's definately worth to pay extra 10 EUR to get a room with balcony and ocean view!. Room was clean and with powerful shower. Staff was very nice and communicative. Good breakfast.

Review 16：Very professionally run. Generous buffet breakfasts. Outrageous location, right at the beach and near the cliffs. Glad we paid the extra 10 Euros for the ocean view with balcony. We were off-season at a beach village so we liked the peacefulness. You can hear the waves crashing all day and night.

Review 17：The breakfast staff was not service minded. The standard coffee is not the one you want, frankly it was bad. Luckily you can ask for a decent cup of coffee.

Review 18：The hotel staff was mostly friendly, breakfast serves fresh fruits! Big plus! The location is good, close to the beach, close to the city center and close to the uphill part of the city. The room was very comfortable with twin beds, which we prefer.

Review 19：There are flies in my room. I told her, but she said to me "catch flies, close the window." Despite there are no fan, no airconditioner. Bathroom smells bad. Must be clean.

No A/C was no problem because the days and nights were very pleasant, BUT only if you leave the windows open. THERE IS A BAR ON THE FIRST FLOOR. The windows are single pane windows meaning that they do not block sound. THERE IS A BAR ON THE FIRST FLOOR. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone else.

Review 48：The location is just perfect! Right on the beach and in de centre of Nazare. Do yourself a big favor and book the see-view balcony rooms, wonderful! The staff was very helpful and friendly, nothing was to much for them. A nice terrace in front to see the world go by.

Review 52：Everything! The room was lovely and very clean with new bathroom ensuite and shower. The view was beautiful from the balcony to see this white sanded crescent beach for miles in front of you with blue sparkling water that you could watch for hours. Lovely breakfast and we would return to this hotel in a heartbeat if we return to portugal. Nazare has very friendly people and just up the street from this hotel we had one of our best meals in Portugal. Lovely little city with many restaurants and shops and the views were spectacular.

Review 53：The locacion was absolutely ideal. The front door of the hotel is on the beach. Surrounded by great restaurants and bars. And also right beside the famous fenicular train that takes you up to the high part of Nazaré. Staff all very nice and communicative. Clean room with nice em suite! If I go back I wouldn't choose any other hotel.

Review 56：For a trip to Nazare, there is no better place to stay than Cubata, but you must reserve an ocean-front room. The room itself is quite ordinary, tho the bed is comfortable, but the pleasure of sitting on the little balcony facing the beautiful beach and cliffs with the sound of the surf is just unbeatable. This is great value, and it even rained and we were always happy there.
