Review 1：The pop/ice machine was right out side our door. Car had to be parked on the other side of the building. Little on the breakfast on the bar.

All the posted signs (how to flush toilet, don't use washcloths to remove makeup, don't run a/c past low, etc.) gave the impression we needed to ask permission before doing anything. Parking was a challenge with a full-size car.

Review 37：2nd floor room. As a "mature" couple, the steps were difficult to navigate with our luggage. I wasn't aware we would be on the 2nd floor and wish I would have been asked my preference. Parking was a nightmare and had to park across the street on one occasion. Not sure why you asked about breakfast - there wasn't any.

She gave us three options to chose from to make it right and made us feel under no pressure or obligation to keep our commitment to stay. We chose to stay and we were very happy we did. Great location for us, because we love the park and the bridge - so we walk down to the bridge every evening no matter where we stay. We have been going to Mackinac Island and Mackinaw City for 29 years.

Review 114：The LHVM is clean, attractive, well-maintained, and unpretentious. The owners operate the property themselves and are wonderful people. I have stayed here every summer for ten years on my way from the east coast to points in the UP and northern WI, and have had a good experience every time.

Review 115：Our second floor non-smoking room with a balcony/entrance had 2 chairs, a small table and a big ashtray right in front of the open window. Before 7 in the morning a couple was there talking loudly and smoking. Smoke and noise made it feel like they were in our room (and we were trying to sleep). I finally got out of bed and politely said, "we are trying to sleep." The reply was a rude, "Well, good for you." I closed the window. Unfortunately I didn't think to turn on the A.C., which was also right below the window. Maybe that would have made them move away.... Parking was also a problem when we came in after a wedding at 10:30 p.m.

Review 132：The staff was wonderful. He went above and beyond to help us out with somethings. We stayed on the 4th of July and we got the last room at the Lighthouse View Motel. They were priced over $100 below any other Motel/Hotel in the area and we felt we got a great room for the value. The furnishings are dated, but the rooms are spacious and very clean. It was the 4th and the motel was packed, yet we couldn't hear any noise from inside of our room. I would definitely stay here again. Location is perfect! You can walked to all the major attractions.

Review 134：This place was so clean! When the guests in the room next to us left, they spent a long time in the room cleaning it which means they actually care and do a good job. The water is right across the street, literally a 2 minute walk. The price was also great compared to other hotels in the area. Would definitely go here again!
