Review 1：Suggestion: Fried potatoes, mushrooms, beans, hard boiled eggs etc., would be excellent additions to the breakfast buffet, if not everyday, perhaps alternate daily to add extra variety.

Review 2：Sergio and all the front desk staff were polite and willing to answer all our inquiries. Our room was kept very clean. Overall the hotel appeared well maintained.

Review 3：lovely location and great views of Pico from room with balcony over swimming pool, which was also very good facility. Staff very quiet and no real interaction, breakfast choice very good, no restaurant but great restaurant (Velense) near harbour worth finding.

Review 4：The internet didn't work consistently but this wasn't too much of a problem because there are much better things to do then go on the internet.

Review 8：staff is either unskilled or arrogant - renting a car and checkng out early was almost undoable. Wifi only in the lobby. Breakfast boring and mediocre at best.

Review 10：When we entered the room there was a (faint) smell of the sewer-system coming from the bathroom; it probably had not been used for a longer period of time or the pipes simply have to be cleaned! The breakfast-buffet could be more extensive; for one night it was okay, but for a holiday of a week it will be boring.

Review 11：The hotel is very nicely situated, right on the waterfront of the Atlantic Ocean with a perfect view of the island (and its mountain) Pico. The rooms, as well as the bathrooms, are large and decorated in pleasant, neutral, colors. The garden and the pool area are very pleasant for a relaxed vacation. A place to return to!

Review 15：Nice hotel on a perfect location for a relaxed vacation, even in high-season. Our room on the top floor was spacious, had a small balcony with a terrific view, over the palm tree-garden, on to the ocean and the full length of Pico-island. The bathroom was spacious as well and even had a very large bathtub.

Review 24：The odd thing was the hotel seemed empty except for us, which seemed kind of sad but maybe not unusual for the off-season

Review 25：The staff were great, and when I left something there, forwarded it to me via the ferry on another island! The balcony and view of the ocean and Pico was amazing. It was a nice walk along the shore to the center of town, about 5 minutes.

Review 26：We couldn't keep mosquitos out of the room - even when we kept the patio door shut. We would have liked to keep the patio door open more, but didn't want even more mosquitos. It would be nice to have screens on the patio doors. One night there was very loud singing coming from inside the hotel. I think there was probably some kind of band performing in the dining area down stairs.

It was perfect for us as we were taking ferriesaround the Azores Islands staying only for a few days in each place. Westayed on the island twice over the course of the holiday and decided togo back because our first visit had been so pleasant. Breakfast wasfine, rooms were clean staff were nice, and the pool was cold but fine.
