Review 1：The walls seemed a little thin, we could hear the conversation of the couple next door and the foot traffic upstairs...

Review 3：We did not realize ahead of time that we would have to climb a flight of stairs to our room. My husband has Parkinson's disease which made this somewhat difficult.

Review 8：The lady who checked us in was extremely friendly. I had made a mistake with the booking on booking.com and booked for the previous night by mistake. I cancelled immediately and rebooked for the correct night but expected to still be charged for the two nights. But when I got there she said she understood it was a mistake and only charged for the one night. She was very helpful about places to eat and the facilites. The room overlooked the lake and we could see the bridge. Fabulous view. I would stay there again.
Review 9：From the time we arrived, I felt we could have asked the woman at the front desk for just about anything. Very welcoming, very nice and friendly. Knowledgeable about the area. She was fantastic! The view was absolutely beautiful, and there were bonfires out on our beach. Very comfortable place. Right on the water.
Review 10：On the 2nd morning, we had to walk to the other hotel, per note on our hotels office door, to have breakfast. It was very inconvenient.

Review 12：When I arrived I was told that my room was given to someone else with a larger party. I was told that there was a similar room in the hotel next to bridgeview. This was upsetting to me as I had no idea what my original room looked like. The room that I ended up with was average, at best.

Review 22：The breakfast was poor. they only had bagels and biscuits and gravy. The hallways were filthy. Had trouble with the wifi.

Review 24：The location. Mackinaw City is such a nice city. Loved walking down the central ave with all the stores and restaurants. Bridgeview was a little tricky to find. We had a great view of the Mackinac Bridge right on the sandy beaches of the lake. Staff was very friendly. Room was quiet. Bed wasn't the most comfortable, but it was just for one night. All in all a good place to stay

Review 27：no coffee pot in room and the continental breakfast was not a lot of options. It could use more variety or even perhaps a waffle maker. The second day we ate elsewhere.

Review 36：Loved the view of the bridge. You can't beat the view of the 4th of July fireworks. We had Mackinaw City, St. Ignace, and the Mackinaw Island fireworks display from our beach front motel. Our family played lawn games on the beach, as well as enjoyed the bon fires:-)
Review 37：Sheets wouldn't stay on the bed, door always said do not disturb so we didn't get fresh towels, but staff was apologetic and got us some quickly.

Review 60：The room was dirty dust, cob webs, and the toilet was dirty there were pubic hairs in the shower. The booklet that was in the room was out dated from 2011. The hall where our room was, was very dirty looked like it had not been clean for months. The young lady in the breakfast area needs some training for sure, she was not on top of keeping clean and stocked she also dropped the coffee cups on the floor and put them right back on the counter. When we were gone on Saturday the staff came into room to clean up which was not very well the only thing that was done was the window seal in bathroom cleaned, new towels, and finally tissue. We were a little upset because we did not ask them to come in yet there was nothing to say not to either. When we booked the room it said two heated pools, and after booking we actually called the motel to confirm things, however we were not told the indoor pool was not in working order and when we checked in it was clear that it had not been prior to us booking.

Review 67：The view was as advertised, beautiful! We could look one way and see thebridge, the other the Grand Hotel on the island. The room was clean. Thewater pressure was good. Overall good experience. We would stay again.
Review 68：The room telephone was not connected. I mean there was no wire connection to the service and it was not a wireless phone. You had to walk outdoors about a block to get the free breakfast.
Review 69：If the weather was decent you could see the bridge. They also had fire pits that you could use in the evening as well as a gas grill. The person in the breakfast room was very congenial and helpful with places to go.
Review 70：The Bridgeview was very overpriced for the night that we stayed there. Technically, it was still the off-season but we paid $70. $45 would have been reasonable. The heating unit worked, however the room did not hold the heat. Additional blankets are needed for cooler nights. The mattresses are too hard. We both woke with stiff backs. I booked the Bridgeview through booking.com. The site stated that only two rooms were available. In truth, besides my husband and I, there were only two other parties that stayed at the motel the same night. So the majority of the rooms at the Bridgeview (95%) were vacant. The internet coverage was poor, so we were not able to connect at all to the internet. Placing numerous routers around the property should solve that problem for other guests. The TV remote control batteries were held in place with scotch tape.
Review 71：I chose Bridgeview when I was told by a Hamilton Inn rep that the charge for an extra night there would be over $200. (I already had a reservation at the Hamilton for two other nights). The owners of the Bridgeview are very nice, friendly and cordial. The view of the bridge and the island are nice.
