Reviews for Mr C Beverly Hills

Review 1:Excellent hotel, excellent service and great location. We liked the 'Bellini welcome drink' at the bar during checking in. Very personal touch and staff is very attentive. You can't go wrong with Mr. C.

Review 2:Beds were worn out - I slept in a hole!! We had just left a Four Seasons Resort with fabulous beds and this bed was horrible by comparison. Also, it was very noisy on the hall - doors were slamming like they were in the room with us - you need the gentle self close hinges on the room doors. And bathroom was tiny - maybe just our room.

Review 3:It's a great location in relation to where our kids live

Review 4:We loved the location. We experienced excellent customer service throughout our stay. Having a Belini on our arrival was a nice way to arrive. I also liked the excellent online concierge which as extremely helpful.

Review 5:Not walking distance to shops at rodeo drive

Review 6:Great sized rooms, excellent service and staff, clean, homely feel, really enjoyed our stay, would stay again

Review 7:No complimentry reception Problem with telephon not repaired Thet keep hold of a good amount of money as insurance for the minibar although it was mentioned when I bokked and got annoyed when discussed this issue with them After few das I found a note on the bed that they do not change linen daily to save water ?

Review 8:Clean, good view Concierge very helpful esp christine

Review 9:Unprofessional service; pool area left open in November but unattended (dirty towels, no drink service); tiny bathroom; 5 minutes to get hot water in the shower; almost no closet space

Review 10:Perfect location; modern and sleek room decor; wood-floor in the room; good concierge service

Review 11:No complaints, pretty much perfect

Review 12:Hotel Location Room/Balcony/Bed Service/Staff - Amazing Complimentary hotel taxi service Shower Wi/Fi

Review 13:I'd much prefer to pay a bit more for the room rather than see the extra charge each day on my bill for the compulsory valet parking. Great service, but steep (additional) charge! Also WiFi was weak and unreliable.

Review 14:Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful room. Great location minutes from Rodeo Drive shopping and excellent restaurants.

Review 15:All of these negative remarks are based on what I excepted from a 5 star hotel with this high price: 1. The bed was horrible (not comfortable at all). Bed was too soft and believe me that is a serious issue for anyone who has back problems and if you check the reviews, many people complain about this issue. Also there pillows were too soft. Honestly overall there bed was not comfortable at all. I couldn’t sleep very well. 2. The hotel staff's friendliness a little bit artificial and pushing you always to the most expensive solution. I am sorry to say that but I also noticed some discriminations for same nationality in the way of treatment by some hotel staff. 3. Unprofessional Staff. (Some). 4. The food was disaster compared to a 5 star hotel. Room service breakfast was very cold when it arrived and tasteless. Price/quality in terms of food and service doesn’t match. 5. The hotel facilities was not that clean as I expected. The elevators area was stinking during my stay 6. They didn’t tell me about the complimentary house car and when I knew it was not available during weekend 7. Food was not good overall in the hotel (Quality wise compared to the price and rank of the hotel) 8. All the negative comments above I wrote because I was expecting much better service compared to the price I paid and rank of the hotel as 5 stars hotel. 9. The hotel over all is not a 5 stars hotel from what saw its more into 4 star.

Review 16:1. The location was good (at least for me) some people didn’t like the location because it is far from the rodeo. For me location was good, quiet and walk to the rodeo was nice passing by good neighbourhood. 2. My room was really clean and housekeeping was good compared to unclean facilities in the hotel over all.

Review 17:Nothing.

Review 18:While atmosphere was warm and friendly. Great location for us, and very pleased with level of comfort, style and quality of restaurant/food. Hope to be back soon.

Review 19:Absolutely ridiculous name of hotel. We were going to cancel as we thought it was going to be overly trendy "Mr C" Completely surprised by what a professional hotel is turned out to be.

Review 20:The bathrooms were too small, no closet space or shelves. The day we arrived we had not one but 3 problems with our bathroom. Sink was clogged, shower head pipe was leaking and the temperature control was stuck. It was changed immediately when we brought it to their attention.

Review 21:The rooms are bright, balconies spacious and good service.

Review 22:Room could have been cleaner , floors were dusty and needed washed , bathroom could have been cleaner

Review 23:Location , 10mins walk into Beverly Hills. Fantastic Restaurant

Review 24:Currently building townhouses which is noisy and disturbing if sitting on balcony.

Review 25:Great location to access inner city and beverly hills. All quality facilities albeit pretty compact given the In - town proximity.

Review 26:Sounded like a party was going on above us until 3:30am.

Review 27:Mark Stone at the bar was one of the best bartenders that we have had in a long time. Along with Mason and Will, this trio is one of a kind. Gave us great recommendations and were very friendly.

Review 28:Cost of parking which is ridiculous when you are staying in the hotel. The double beds were quite small. A bit snooty in the restaurant

Review 29:The check in was quick and very pleasant. Cocktail bar was good especially the margaritas and the courgette crisps!

Review 30:Amazing Hotel. i believe this hotel became one of my favorite hotels in the world. It is that good & believe me when I say this as i'm a heavy traveler. Great view, amazing furniture & design, luxurious atmosphere, great location... one of the things this hotel is good at is making some social & entertaining activities that guest can participate in such as movie night which is a movie theater by the pool side.

Review 31:i was not satisfied with the pool size as it was very small. not great for actual swimming. this is my only negative thing on this place.

Review 32:Will definitely return. All the staff were professional and friendly. The hotel decor is very stylish and the rooms very comfortable. Lovely pool area.

Review 33:Pool area is limited sun, room had lots of noise from pipes and upstairs, drinks are very expensive, patio door locked us out onto balcony

Review 34:Great service, pretty room, great bed, and glass walls open to balcony, convenient location

Review 35:While the courtesy limousine is a great idea, it is not run very efficiently. For example, no one ever came to tell us when the driver (Phil?) would be back even though we had been told someone would. As I was sitting in the front area, I noticed that this same thing happened to others as well. Perhaps you should have 2 limousines to avoid that problem.

Review 36:All staff members were extremely courteous, helpful and efficient. The welcoming process is really quite refreshing. The bar set up at the front is a great idea. The bartender (Mark) was a pleasure to chat with.

Review 37:Parking is very expensive (as many other hotels in the area). When we arrived they asked us if we wanted a welcome cocktail (Bellini), we said yes and thought it was a great idea, but after checking in and talking to the concierge they didn't bring us any cocktail. Although we spent about 15-20 min checking in etc, when we got up to the room, our luggage was not there yet. Something that really bothered me (it may be very personal) was the strong smell of flowers in the lobby, flowers are always nice, but these ones are used in Italy for when somebody is dead, so the smell really reminded me of sad moments, I could not spend 1 min downstairs. They present the hotel as an Italian luxury hotel...they should know about those flowers...

Review 38:Location is great, safe, just 15 min walking to Rodeo Drive. The room was big and clean, the bed was very comfortable. Live music every night.

Review 39:The only exception for not being perfect was the small closet for the double bed room. My room had a larger closet.

Review 40:The room was cozy, nice decoration, wonderful shower!! Good location!!

Review 41:No facilities for coffee and tee in the rooms - not nice for such a hotel!; hotel car not available on weekends - which is not announced by any one - it is just not there; not so closed to Rodeo drive - 15 min walk to be considered for people over 60; the hotel staff's friendliness a little bit artificial and pushing you always to the most expensive solution; last floor facility used only for special events - a pity as great view!

Review 42:Great hotel, beautiful view both sides, very comfortable beds, nice terrace with sitting opportunity, very nice Cipriani Italian restaurant with friendly staff; nice supermarket over the road - very helpful. AND USE UBER - GREAT! Comfortable, interesting and good deal!

Review 43:The spa was fantastic the staff where lovely and good at there jobs. But there was no hot tubs saunas

Review 44:Perfect.highly Professional staff. Warm friendly. Stunning hotel with good facilities and a complimentry car that will take you abywhere in a 3mile radus. Everyone knows your name and everyone knows how to say it. I could not fault this hotel in anyway. Perfect location. In walking distance of rodeo drive shops (if you want a 10min stroll) * * * * * *

Review 45:I was a bit upset for our room took longer than expected to check in, however, the staff brought me a beautiful plate of fruit and bottled water to make up for it. This Hotel is a 10 in my book. Plan to go back again and again.

Review 46:I have never experienced a more friendly, attentive, pleasant, and fun staff. Each and every person working at this hotel was fabulous! I've never had such a pleasant stay. Each and every person who worked here, smiled, was friendly, and so accommodating. Look at out hotels..... I will return again & again.

Review 47:Not enough Belini's!!

Review 48:From arrival to departure, the staff make you feel utterly welcome. The rooms are amazing and so comfortable. Love the turn down service at night - so few hotels do this anymore and it's such a welcome after a busy day in LA. I love Mr C!

Review 49:Nothing

Review 50:The decor was very cool, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The pool area was lovely, I like the snacks that come with the drinks. Overall a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Review 51:The food. It has to be better

Review 52:The complimentary valet within a-3mile radius was good. The concierge was most helpful and the staff generally went about their jobs professionally.

Review 55:A bit noisy as u can sometimes hear the other rooms.

Review 56:I stayed for 5 days, the hotel location is just 10 minutes walk to Urth Cafe and Rodeo DR in beverly hills, on the otherside of the hotel u can find CVS and supermarket, ATM and all what u need. The hotel rooms are big and always clean, TV channels is good, nice balcony and view is just amazing. I tried the hotel on last minute and the staff was amazing and cooked me a very nice pasta. The concierge Mr. Sulimien was amazing, he got me the Lakers game and offered me very nice program.

Review 57:Luxury hotel with fabulous rooms. Very comfortable with amazing views over Beverly Hills. Perfect location, really lovely staff and of course splendid restaurant.

Review 58:Towels could use some softener.

Review 59:Everything. Food was great . Coffee was amazing. Courtesy car was a blessing. Entire staff were so attentive. Would recommend to everyone one.

Review 60:I was not informed about 38 USD or overnight parking, and my wife got sick so we had to stay one more night and they woul not give me the same rate, one night cost more than 2, very pricy hotel.

Review 61:I was welcomed by the staff and that was nice, given a drink and was explained about all facilities, really nice.

Review 62:The prices were a bit steep.

Review 63:The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very old Hollywood. Service and staff were impeccable. Food from Cipriani was amazing.

Review 64:Parking not included, Wifi was a bit slow

Review 65:Location is in a good walking distance to most sights in Beverly Hills. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, maid service was perfect and rooms very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Had in-room dining on our first night which was pretty good.

Review 66:One dinner dish wasn't that tasty.

Review 67:The vanilla meringue cake. Everyone of the staff we came in contact with was so nice and friendly. Room was clean and so comfortable with a great view on the 7th floor. We will return.

Review 68:Great hotel with Italian feeling! Upon Check-In we were greeted with a glas of Bellini. Rooms are very nice and offer beautiful view of L.A. Location is perfect!

Review 69:Check in was not smooth at all, the guy at the reception did not knowwhat he was doing. My friends had lots of trouble when they wanted tocheck out as the hotel withdrew money from their card that was notsupposed to be withdrawn and they did the same to me! They took way morethan we owe them and even after check out and us going home my card wascharged and so was my friends card by the hotel!. Hotel is too noisy inthe morning which made it so hard to get some sleep, we kept hearingbumps and thumps that woke us up and lasted almost all day! Veryuncomfortable. I would not stay in Mr. C again nor would I recommend itto anyone.

Review 70:The staff were friendly and food was good at the hotel. Pool was nicetoo.

Review 71:No multiple restaurants only one in the hotel ! Valet parking expensive 39 per day

Review 72:Good location and view Very clean Friendly staff Luxury I would like to thank Mr. Soliman for his help and effort (the best concierge I ever deal with ) Thank u

Review 73:The hotel is not a 5 star hotel, but a 4 star. The room was not ready upon our arrival, eventhough it was 3 pm and they told us it will Take a half an hour to be ready. We went in the city and returned at 9 pm and the room was still not ready. They offered us an other room that was more expensive that we did not accept. Therefore we had to wait 20 more minutes. When we booked the room the parking was free of charge but when we checked-out we were charged 40 $ per night. Old furniture, no slippers and only one bathrobe in the room. We found an empty wine bottle in the minibar and we called house keeping to replace it. We had the unpleasent surprinse to see it charged on our bill. Also the location is not ideal.

Review 74:location was execellent to get to different parts of LA. The whole staff was charming- very corteus and always made us feel as if coming back to Mr. C was coming back home.

Review 75:I couldn't stay longer!!!

Review 76:I loved everything about my stay at Mr. C Beverly Hills, the staff is world class in hospitality. The rooms are elegant with a nod to Italian film classic photography, the pool and especially the Cipriani restaurant! The whole exerience was amazing as I am a local and sometimes need a place to stay in town Mr. C is now my elegant home away from home. Thank you to all the staff Brando, Daiano, Christian for taking such great care of me!

Review 77:The wifi and the bad smell of the patio of every room in the hotel

Review 78:Every thing and the most thing that i liked is the furniture,It's amazing how classy it is.

Review 79:The showe is something that they should fix it!!!!-please

Review 80:My wife and I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. We had a lovely 4 nights, the staff was extreamly nice and polite. The room was clean, big and very stylist. We had breakfast every morning the waitress were very professional and friendly. We used the vallet parking,bo trouble at all, exelent service. We would go back again that is not a question!!! Thanks Mr C :)

Review 81:My boyfriend and I decided to celebrate our one year anniversary with a little staycation one Saturday night in August. After much deliberation, we decided on Mr. C and did not regret our decision one bit. The staff was friendly from the second I walked in the door. Check in was quick (and fun, thanks to the delicious Bellini from the talented bartender) and our bags were brought up to our room quickly. Because it was our anniversary, Mr. C upgraded our room to a higher floor and gave us a bottle of prosecco and chocolate covered strawberries free of charge. The beds were comfortable, the balcony overlooking the city was magical, and overall experience was perfect. We will definitely be returning.

Review 82:We have european plugs and when we asked the reception about a US converter they said they will send it right away. They did but the converter was not working but we didn't concern about it because we had a spare one. When we check out, we saw on the bill that they charged us 50$ for the converter. We didnt pay because it was not working but come on, for a hotel like this luxury, you do not have to take more money from people. It's a 5$ converter and if you do charge, just say so when we have called.

Review 83:Great hotel, great rooms.

Review 84:No coffee machine , coffee is 13 dollars room service , takes 30 min. had to buy a kettle and coffee. No laundry Service , and the walls r soo thin i could hear my neighbors getting it on all night for 3 nights.

Review 85:Loved the hotel, location , staff and all

Review 86:Room needs maintenance. No self parking. Expensive valet parking.

Review 87:Good location. Friendly stuff. Very Good service. Clean Hotel. Very near to super market.

Review 88:The staff went out of their way to honor every request, and knew our names right away. The room was beautiful, good size, light and cheerful with a grand view. Bathrooms are small, but well-appointed. Easy to drive everywhere, but a very long walk to downtown Beverly Hills. Good restaurant.

Review 89:The smell of the hotel and rooms, noisy we can hear every things around the rooms and the sound from the upper room :( And i forget my iPad there but they didn't give it to me back. It's 3 stars hotel not 5 stars Far away from every thing. This the first time i got disappointed from booking website.

Review 90:Nothing at all

Review 91:Desk more interested in servicing trendy locals. Pool very plain. Pool party specials rough. Double beds rather than queen size. No real facilities

Review 92:Quality and style of fittings

Review 93:Building site just opposite the hotel - noisy all day At check in no rooming was done Housekeeping poor. No fresh towels one day (had to use those left in bathroom) No complimentary water in room (in a 5 star hotel!) Clear difference between guests that booked via booking and direkt

Review 94:Location Bell service very good and friendly

Review 95:We ordered a breakfast to the room and when we got it, it was cold!! Everything in the hotel is incredibly expensive. $6 for a glass of coke! And a breakfast for two cost $50. It's insane.

Review 96:1/ very nice welcome when you arrive. 2/ beautiful suite signature very nicely decorated. 3/ excetionnel concierge Salomon so friendly and professional. It's a pleasure to go back to Mr C. The view on the hills is amazing.

Review 97:Nothing!

Review 98:Loved the excellent personal service! Met us at the door upon arrival with drinks! We stayed at 5 star hotels in Hollywood and Santa Monica, but they didn't hold a candle to Mr. C! The driver for the hotel's personal driving service stayed late to make sure my daughter and I had a ride back to hotel after a late dinner. I was very impressed by this hotel and will only stay at Mr. C my next trip to la!

Review 99:Rooms were not ready Restaurant was not good and gready - no restaurant charges bread except Mr C Beds are old and not comfortable

Review 100:Location and internet

Review 101:When you enter the hotel you are seated at a bar while the waiter serves you complimentary drinks. While this is happening the staff prepare your check in papers, at a desk hidden behind the bar. This takes away the stress of checking in and sets the tone immediately for the standard of service provided by the hotel. The free car service is also a great perk.

Review 102:When I arrived at around 5pm to the hotel, my room still wasn't ready for me (although check-in time is 3PM). Another thing is that the TV in the room only offers about 3-4 working channels, the resat just don't work (HD channels). The AC doesn't work properly as well (very week). I must say that the hotel was fair enough to refund me $50 because of the late check-in.

Review 103:my friends can order microwave into there room . The staffs are totally awesome. I feel the the staffs always keep their eyes on us, so they know exactly what we need or when we want.

Review 104:concierge reccomended us to vist RODEO Dr. on foot not by car, but it was a hard walk for my wife wearing 3.5inch heels.

Review 105:Stylish room, friendly staff, and awsome view of LA from the 8th floor studio type room. We could see the July 4th fireworks in all over the LA from the balcony. They're of course far and not big, it was great experience. And water pressure of the shower in this room is soooo nice.

Review 106:1St impression very bad. Came in late from Airport to Check in, therewas zero staff in the hotel. No bell boy nor concierge service forluggage at night, breakfast very expensive, the spa is a joke very smallnot a real spa for a 5* hotel , The swimmin pool is too small (Like akids pool )pool deck very well maintained though. Which is good. Overall quality & price way too expensive. Day time too many staff atthe reception & at night zero staff. Need to improve on it.

Review 107:Thé bed & beddings, room service staff especially for breakfast& dinner, The food was of good quality, Very very friendly staff,The attached balcony in the room, Free Limo service to & from thecity center. Restaurant food is of very good taste & quality. AsComing from food industry, it is a great compliment to the chef &his staff. Well done.

Review 108:Bit out of Beverly Hills, valet parking dear. Mini bar pricing ridiculous,

Review 109:Luxurious property, huge suite which I got at a stupidly good price on booking (71% reduced) other wise this hotel would be well outside my price range

Review 110:Its all room service if you want a coffee... having a pod machine in room would be awesome as when you are working I like to not be interrupted.

Review 111:Most comfortable beds and chairs ever. Staff are always lovely and they help out with all sorts of issues. Sorted me out for transport, organising a parcel that I needed to have sent on. They treat you very well. Great bar

Review 112:Location - nice but nothing within walking distance. Also had to wait 45 minutes for room to be ready (check-in supposed to be at 3pm, arrived 2:45, got into room at 3:30).

Review 113:Nice staff, and thought hotel was very clean and sleek design, liked balcony.

Review 114:The staff and decor, comfort & cleanliness

Review 115:style of furnishings and public spaces; staff; location

Review 116:The staff were incredibly helpful and nothing that we requested was a problem. The location was also very central and easy to access.

Review 117:Lower room have nosiy traffic exposure,

Review 118:Really nicely renovated

Review 119:Staff, attention to details, facilities and location

Review 120:The lovely bright clean room with a balcony.

Review 121:Off the beaten path

Review 122:Free welcome drinks, friendly staff

Review 123:Not the top service of 5 star hotel

Review 124:Stylish boutiquy hotel

Review 125:Hotel is super clean and modern! Love the white furniture!

Review 126:Could have more space for kids!

Review 127:Service was excelent and staff

Review 128:Fine hotel, excellent service and location
