Review 1：The restroom - physical set-up could be improved. Toilet bowl too close to the wash basin

Review 2：Receptionist Teresa was very helpful. Tasteful modern decor with the warmth and coziness of a pleasant environment.

Review 3：No parking place. Despite they mention that there is a parking place close to the hotel for 5 EUR/day, it wasn't. Customers can leave the car in front of the hotel only for the time of doing the check-in and out. Then they have to park a car somewhere in the street, which is quite long from the hotel.

Breakfast is a standard European breakfast. The orange juice was pretty weak. Only a three minute walk to the funicular to Sitio. Would definitely stay here in the future.

Review 27：Parking was a bit of a problem. It's not too far away, but it is a stiff walk uphill to get to it. Not good if you have mobility problems. The bathroom was the most compact I've ever seen! You had to limbo under the sink unit to get into position to sit on the toilet! The wi-fi is very weak in the rooms.

Review 33：The cleaning staff needs training. Not on how to clean but on how NOT to throw everything away. That if it wasn't in the garbage then it wasn't a garbage, period. They even deny doing so when came looking for it. Even made me feel that I do not know where you put my stuff and it wasn't their fault because they THOUGHT it was garbage. We have been travelling for a month & have been to other hotels and have never lost a hair clip, a tissue paper or an even an empty bottle we forgot to toss in the garbage. All the other hotels we stayed will no doubt clean the place/rooms, but will leave the stuff on the table that wasn't IN the garbage - even if they look like garbage. The Management of Hotel Mare should have trained their cleaning stuff to do the same, because my personal item that Hotel Mare cleaning stuff threw in the garbage will cost me about $2K to replace. And I just got it in July of 2013 too. I am going to call the guy who made it for me and ask for an estimate, and if he can replace it for me at cost. Then I am going to file a claim at Hotel Mare, Nazare for the cost to replace the same. Again, IF IT IS NOT IN THE GARBAGE - IT IS NOT A GARBAGE.

Review 38：It is well located and close to the beach. Very helpfull, proactive and friendly staff. There is a parking around 500 meters uphill, but you can always park next to the hotel, at the reserved places for a short while e.g.to unpack or check-in.

The staff was especially caring and concerned when I had a fall and dislocated my shoulder at a restarant in town. There was no problem having a late check out while I got discharged from the hospital and back to the hotel to pack up our things. I would love to stay there again and spend more time in the quaint little town!!!!
