Review 3：Well first off the room was not cleaned. Who ever stayed next to me opened the door that joins the two rooms together I had the safety lock on but in the middle of the night he opened it and was staring at me asleep when addressed the front seat they said I should called them immediately but I was so terrified I just laid still so he would go back in his room.
Review 4：For a two bed room, kept having to ask for additional towels and wash cloths. One day, cleanliness was below standards; all other days cleanliness was good.

We had coffee in the morning but no breakfast which was reflected in a super price. clean beds, clean room, great location right off rt 64. Places to eat dinner in the local area. Staff was wonderful

I traveled 12 hours to betold (by a rude employee) that there was no vacancies, that I had noreservation, that I wasn't in the system, that "oh, yourreservation was canceled." After being on hold for 45 minuteswith Booking.com (nobody ever picked up the phone) he miraculouslyfound me a room. I'm pretty sure the room was the "pay perhour" room, but being that all the other hotels were booked wehad to stay. The room stunk of old, stale cigarettes. We felt lessthan safe throughout the night as there were all types of questionableactivities going on in the parking lot outside our "suite."do not stay here

Review 19：They had cancelled my reservation due to an entry error on my part early in the evening so when we arrived at nearly midnight the desk gal almost gave me a heart attack saying that. No one had called or emailed to alert me of issue but they had held my room so all ended well but they should have contacted me.

Review 25：There wasn't an elevator to get to the second floor. Nothing specified that there was no an elevator when I was making the reservation. On the website it stated that all rooms had refrigerators and microwaves, however, that wasn't the case. Also, the top of the toilet had hair on it and the toilet paper wasn't replaced from the last occupant.

Review 27：This hotel was way to ghetto! There were guest hanging over the banister drinking beer and cursing. Dogs barking excessively in other rooms and the steps to the upstairs were in need of repair. I did not feel safe at all in this hotel and checked out immediately!!!!!
Review 28：They only supplied a limited number of towels. Which is fine, however, when we needed a new set, it took a full day because they "Had to do laundry." It smelled like urine outside. I found hair on my sheets.

I found a pill on the floor and bent down to pick it up to throw it away and grabbed a wad of hair also. the shower wasn't cleaned . was there for four nights and the floors got swept ONLY because I had dropped some chips on the floor. The 3rd day there our garbage didn't get emptied and the sheets were not changed. we were not given a clean bath matt and the 3rd day we were there who ever cleaned our room didn't hang up the towels on the rack, just threw them on the counter with the was clothes that weren't even folded. I won't be staying there ever again. there were also cob webs by the bathroom sink ceiling. someone is getting paid to clean and is NOT doing their job. LAZY!!!

Review 51：I've seen this in a scary movie before. I used my keycard to access room around 4pm when I first arrived but I had to leave rather quickly after putting all my things inside of room. We got settled and at some point we decided to leave to get something to eat around 9 or 10pm. My husband went back to room to get something and realized door was unlocked. He kept closing and opening but door would not LOCK! Alerted person on duty at desk only for him to come over and try to get the door to lock. After heat took forever to come on I didn't feel comfortable staying here. Reminds of a movie I saw where people come into room to rob and do God knows what after guest fall asleep. Red Roof Inn in NC was nice so I chose this one in Chesapeake, VA but this one was creepy not same quality as in Guildford NC area.

I did not report it because it wasn't a major disruption to me and I was able to go back to sleep without any problems.

Review 73：Everything room was beautiful and ive stayed at several hotels and most or nearly all the RED ROOF INNS HAVE bad feedback...but this one totally shocked me..it was nicely built...new...very clean and I'm ocd and it was just about emaculant ...had everthingthing...iron..fridge ..safe and a microwave ...and a big flat screen hdtv..and the fees they take out go back on your card after 2 to 3 days which is average...the front desk was polite and helpful....isuggest a stay here if you're visiting in the area...i would stay a whole month that's how clean and nice everything was...ihad a King size bed and i slept so good even the air conditioner did not have a mildew smell and the ac was already on when i came in out the heat which was a courtesy to me because most rooms are stuffy..THNKZ REDROOF INN FOR MAKING MY STAY COMFORTABLE AND ONCE LAST THING...I WENT TO BOOKING.COM TO MAKE MY RESERVATIONS WHICH WAS A GOOD DEAL ON A KING SIZE ...5STARS.....
Review 74：Signage is poor....you have to search for the building...there should be a sign at the entrance of Westgate to show the way...Marriott and Hampton Inn were very apparent (I got directions from Hampton Inn front desk)...RRInn has a small sign at the driveway. Needs more...especially for someone driving in the area for the first time and after dark. Need more free channels on TV.

Also man working the front desk named Ronnie was slacking in customer service. Our reservation was saved under a weird name with special charters along with letters and he treated my wife like she was the one that typed it into their system and made the mistake. At one point he told my wife she would have to stay somewhere else even though she had the confirmation number from booking.com and she had called to verify the reservation with them the day before.
