Reviews for Casa Nobre do Correio-Mor

Review 1:This is a restored 17th century manor house. It is beautifully renovated and it feels as if you're staying in a museum because there are hisorical artifacts around every corner and in every nook.

Review 2:The old world ambience of the manor house combined with modern facilities. The caring and warm hospitality of our host Maria made our stay a pleasure. Access to the old town and river walks. Great breakfast.

Review 3:The hotel is so-called solar, very traditional manor house. The staff is very kind and helpful. My huz twisted his back and the staff carried his big suitscase to the bus stop. Thanks to his kindness.

Review 4:There was nothing that we didn't like

Review 5:Staying at Casa Nobre do Correio-Mor was one of our favorite holiday experiences. The restoration of this grand manor house has retained the atmosphere and authenticity of the building's history yet incorporated modern touches such as excellent bathroom facilities. The pool and gardens were wonderful as we stayed during heat wave conditions. We were given a choice of rooms on arrival and chose the four poster bedroom. I would recommend this to families as exploring the house is great fun. We didn't use the very large lounge area but it seemed to provide many entertainment options. Access to town for eating out and sightseeing is excellent. Our door locked perfectly and the chime of church bells didn't bother us at all.

Review 6:1. we are not previously informed about deficient acessibilities: a dangerous and dificult stair crosses all the interior 2. the garbage stays in the access for the swiming pool; 3. lack of facilities for eating like some local products

Review 7:the ambience of a private house

Review 8:The furnishings are, to be frank, rather tired. Unable to lock doors of rooms. Nearby church bell chimes at night.

Review 9:Querky hotel which makes a change from the norm. Rooms were quite large. Breakfast was simple but good. Good value for money but you have to be prepared to accept that it is a little different and go with the flow. Rear facing rooms have good views over town.
