Review 1：Many staff didn't speak English although this was a minor annoyance for us. Bathroom near the pool/reception was often dirty and full of mosquitoes (the rooms were cleaned well), the drinks service at the pool was a bit slow. Really minor things.
Review 2：Ko Lipe is paradise and Akira a great hotel to enjoy it. Right on the nicest beach and close to immigration. This proved very important as we were able to check in and change and get a beer while checking on the passport line periodically while many people staying further away were waiting in the sun for their passports. Spacious, clean room, huge bathroom, all the amenities, nice breakfast. Pool right on the beach with a swim up bar. Everything was just wonderful.

Review 5：Hotel staff during breakfast buffet: Came to our table and just took our plates and utensils away, without asking whether are we done already. Happened several times that morning. I find this attitude rude and not acceptable, especially in a service and hospitality industry. We did not make a big fuss that morning, as we didn't want to spoil our mood on our holiday.
Review 6：Location: Near to immigration check-point and walking street. Beach in front of hotel is perfect for snorkelling. Room condition: Clean room, fitted with new furnitures, modern design.
Review 7：When back to pier to take ferry , hotel seem brought us to wrong place , so arrive wrong pier on the sea (even keep confirming in advance). Almost miss the ferry time.

Review 9：The bathroom gave off a sewage smell from time to time. it was impossible to buy plain white bread on the island, requested 3 from the hotel restaurant, no one said anything about the cost but after we started toasting infront of 4 staff, a 5th staff suddenly came up and said it would cost us 20baht per slice. It would have been less dodgy if we were informed of the charges upfront (seemed like a random price tag decided by one single staff)And given the price of the room, charging guests 20baht for each slice of plain white bread.. Hmm :/
Review 10：We booked the room that had direct access to the pool, it was lovely, great view, beautiful large bathroom. We encountered bad weather the first 2 days we were there but with a room like this, we were super happy. Most of the staff were nice and smiley.

Review 19：The diamond bungalow we stayed in was just beautiful, nicely furnished, comfortable and spacious. The staff were always helpful and friendly. The food from the restaurant was nicely presented and tasty. The pool area is a fab place to sit and relax with wonderful views up and down the beach and the hotel is in a great location.

Review 32：Breakfast was pretty basic and they suffer a fly problem when the rubbish hasn't been collected from the island, so anything that wasn't covered was riddled with flies. They haven't installed fans so you've got someone with a napkin trying to bat off the flies. We had to ask for muesli to be added to the menu as any good hotel should have more than Cocopops and Cornflakes on offer. The restaurant floor was disgusting, covered in old food, used tissues and hair. Yuck! The concrete walkway and swimming pool deck are very slippery and very dangerous. Review 42：Staff and service are simply terrible: 1. We came back earlier than usual from the beach and we arrived in our room, the staff was painting the door inside, leaving the room with paint smell. They didn't ask/warn us previously. 2. Many issues in the rooms: leaks under the sink, no electricity for 20 minutes, ants invasions on the couch, room smelled bad, key cards expiring every day (making us go back to the reception at least 5 times), construction left overs in the bathroom. 3. There was dog poop lying over in many places. We've told a couple of times the front desk but by the time we left the hotel (after four days), the poops were still there. 4. After a big rain the main pool was really dirty and nobody cleaned for 2 days. 5. Very, very limited breakfast: no fresh juice (not even orange), no coffee, no yoghurt, no cheese/ham. There was hair in the omelette (the lady preparing them didn't wear any hair net to protect them from falling on the food). 6. Overall service and staff: I saw employees taking selfies in the pool area, another employee sleeping on the front desk couch. After all of this, I tried to talk to the manager for two days and it seemed impossible. He never showed up at the hotel or answer phone calls. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from here! Not worth the price paid.
Review 43：Hotel is very modern and has a great potential to be the best of the island. However, the service provided is the worst I've seen in a long time. Because the hotel is so new, it's still under maintenance even though there are guests occupying rooms.
