Review 1：The cabins are extremely well maintained and clean. The proprietress was friendly and accessible. It was our first trip as a couple (without our child) in 13 years. Our hopes for a great weekend were filled!

Review 2：I liked every thing about Anchorage Cottages. I do wish that the town had better stores and gift shops that had better quality items. We ended up going to Cannon Beach for shopping.

Review 3：Clean, peaceful environment. Kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. Bed was comfortable, which normally you do not find in a hotel or cottage.

Review 4：I loved Anchorage cottages so much. My boyfriend and I traveled here for a little getaway weekend and the place came with everything we could of needed. Especially firewood and things to do while it poured rain outside!

Review 5：There are no bad experiences here, just a few items that could use some upgrades. Kitchen, is bearable but could use some new cabinetry. The mattress was very uncomfortable for my husband and the pillows lacked firmness, but this also depends on your preferences. Everything else was great!

Review 6：Excellent staff. Very courteous when we checked out and had great suggestions on what to do in town. And the entire room was ready for us and our late arrival. Another huge note, for us, the clean smelling fridge, not chemical, just clean. I hate when they smell, makes a huge difference in the way I perceive the hotel and their customer service.

Review 7：We rented cottage 8. If you invest in anything, please consider new mattresses. We all tossed and turned all night long. Regular full size pillows would be nice also. We would not be able to sleep in these beds for more than a night or so.

Review 8：Facility offers a two bedroom, full kitchen unit at a fair price and also accepts pets. It was clean, quiet and in a great location. Beach is just a short walk away.

Review 9：The cottage was very clean and well maintained. I appreciated having a dishwasher to free up more of our time. This is a great place, all the comforts of home are there, just take your clothes and food and you are set. You won't be disappointed and the pictures are exactly like what the cottage is. You won't be disappointed that the pictures looked one way and when you got there it was a total different story! The staff was very nice and friendly. My family and I look forward to going back.

Review 10：Nothing bad, really. One suggestion is to have a broom and dust pan in room so guests can sweep up any sand that gets tracked in.

Review 15：Th cottage was roomy and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Loved that there was a volleyball net, basketball court and access to bikes. A wonderful place to stay!

Review 16：Cabin #1 was small,luckily we are not big people.Advertised as having a patio but this unit you did not have the back patio the other units had.Small #1 attached to the biggest #10.That group went out at night or it may have been loud.

Review 17：Quaint 50's era style cabin/duplex.They are attached,not separate cabins.Cute beachy décor.Beach access through the dunes is a bit of a walk.Kitchenette was convenient,we only stayed 2 nights but you could save some $ on meals.

Review 24：Every piece of furniture was extremely uncomfortable. One room and a futon is too small for 4 adults, especially with that small uncomfortable futon.

Review 26：Walk to beach was a long narrow path through trees that had lots of mosquitoes at this time of year. Once we realized that, we just chose a different route to the beach.

Review 27：Very attractively decorated and spotlessly clean. Flowers on grounds were amazing. Welcoming staff at check in. Nice yard for children to play or pet to walk. Basketball, volleyball and other outdoor sports available. Well stocked kitchen for meal prep.

Review 28：The room was out dated, sheet on futon as futon cover, uncomfortable bed, dining room and living room chairs very uncomfortable as was the futon. Lots of projects attempted to up date and paint, but unfinished look. There were signs posted in various places as well as charges for various things. It was not welcoming. Limited hours for free WIFI.

Review 47：The only slight irritation was a barking neighbor dog on the first morning.

Review 48：We stayed Mon-Thursday before a holiday weekend and for most of that time we were alone or one other unit was occupied. It was clean, quiet and had most everything you could want. They provide firewood and kindling and paper, but the wood was damp and to really get it going required duraflame logs, which you can buy for $3 in the office. They also bought back the ones we didn't use when we left. It was a nice location on the north end of town.

Review 49：The bed is not to comfortable. It needs a nice foam topper. Also the TV is very small. A Larger one would be better.

Review 54：The cottage that we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. The back door lead straight to the path down to the beach. They had plenty of toys, games, and movies for us to use during our stay. I am very happy I chose the Anchorage Cottages for our family vacation.

Review 55：The Ehkolie (cottage #1) was very clean and comfortable - perfect for a short winter getaway. Supposedly pets are allowed in this unit but they must do an excellent job cleaning because I never would have guessed it. I didn't get to explore the property grounds but it seems very well kept. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Review 56：The cottage was very charming and very well appointed. I was in a one bedroom cottage which was a great space for one or two people. It was comfortable and a great value for the price. It's a nice walk to the beach and a very short drive to downtown.

Review 57：We were the first couple to use Booking.com with this Motel. We choose a One Queen size room. On our way over to Long Beach we received a call from the manager, she was letting us know that they were giving us a up grade to the larger suite because the room we were booked for still had someone in it. When we got there we were greeted by the manger who was very nice and apologized for the problem, we told her that there wasn't any problem. We went to our room (cottage) and it was the large cottage with two bedrooms (would sleep 9), full kitchen, & a very nostalgic architectual living quarter with a wood burning fireplace. We highly recommend these cottages and are planing a trip back with friends in the near further.
