Review 1：Terribly overpriced for what it is. Construction work waking us up every morning, cheap and old material, mold in the bathroom, really bad breakfast and best of all : rats in our room !!

Review 2：This place is absolutely awful.We expected a nice place, since they call themself "resort". There is no really positive aspect because the beauty of the bungalows and the whole place has been spoiled by the staff and the disorganization of this "resort". Absolutely overpriced. The staff is weird, they stare at you without smiling and they are not kind, even when you are acting nice with them. The lady at the front desk is nasty and she speaks at the phone even when you are talking to her, withour any regards of the guests. The first night we wanted to change the room, because the bathroom was rusty, the shower didn't work and in general the bathroom was full of mosquitos since it is half open air. If you are given a bungalow downstairs, like us, you could not sleep because of the loud noise of the steps of the other guests upstairs. We asked to see another room, and when we got in, the room was not clean and the bathroom was locked, for unexplainable reasons. We were told to wait 30 minutes but we had to wait more than an hour and we've not even been offered help to move baggages from one room to another. In the new room, the wc broke the second day. The reason was the following: you cannot put the toilet paper you use to clean yourself in the wc, but you have to put the paper in the trash can near to the wc!!!! And the lady had the courage to told us that it works like this in Thailand: the other places in which we stayed in other parts of Thailand were obviously not like that..... The pool is dirty and the whole place lacks hygene. The beach is narrow and there are just a few beds on the beach, so it occurred to us to often see people fighting for them, and the owner was helping no one, she simply doesn't care. Wifi doesn't work at all. Food is awful, we both felt sick after eating a simple sandwich, which we had to wait for at least 45 minutes, and they first served us an hamburger because they didn't understand the order.

Review 8：The owner and the whole staff continuously went the extra mile to ensure our stay was the most comfortable and that we had everything we needed. We loved our stay and definitely want to go back.

Review 9：Wifi problem, can be solved by telling the staff to reset the router. The water used for shower is sea water which are used by the whole island.

Review 10：The view from the resort was very good, when the water goes down you can go snorkeling, lots of beautiful sea creatures such as clown fish, sea anemones angel fish and if you're lucky, sea cucumber and other species of sea creatures. We can rent snorkeling gear for 50 baht per day (mask) and fin for another 50 baht.

Review 11：The room is smelly . the staff promise us , if we check out ,will free taxi for us to immigration ,at last they didn't pay for us .This is no money issue ,is they break their promise .

Review 13：Since our arrival, untill last day everything was great. Staff very friendly and helpfull. We had a great room, just right next to the(very clean)pool, just open the door, and jump to sweam:) Breakfast was good, variation of dishes, everyone could choose something for themselves. Resort is placed straight on the beach, so just catch empty sunbeds, and You can enjoy amazing sea view and breeze for all day with some nice smoothie or cocktail from the bar. Room was clean, and big, the same bathroom. Also they were clean everyday! Maybe the water pressure is not to strong, but it wasn't an issue. Any way we spend all our time outside not under the shower;) Bed was hard, but for me it was good, because i don't like soft matresses. Review 14：The bathroom. Shower glass was extremely dirty, I think never's been cleaned since being bought. Towel hangers - I had to put something first before I put my towel as I was afraid it will get dirty. For 150,-Euro per night you expect much better standard.

Review 15：Location - I could say in the middle of the beach. Couldn't get any better. Despite it's a 5min walk to the Walking street with bars and restaurants but what is 5min ? ;) The staff also very helpfull, design of the area very nice.

Review 16：- During our stay, we faced some termites issue in the room and it seems that the local staff has no idea that it is a very serious issue. The termite is just right on top direction of our sleeping bed area where the wood grain is falling from the ceiling causes our bed to be unhygienic look and itchy feeling. We didn’t realise the night before but only manage to rectify the next day during daytime. Right on spot we inform the front desk but one of the lady at receptionist (supervisor in charge for Anda Resort) was reluctant to change our room at first. Marco is the only employee whom concern and did his very best to assure our comfort level, hence he strongly suggest the lady receptionist that we must change room. They were speaking in Thai language but we can see that the lady doesn’t seem very helpful and co-operative to her own team mate. We see that Marco has difficulty in convincing her to allow us to change room. Honestly as a guest we feel very upset with how the lady staff handle the situation as she doesn't seem to believe that "there is a termite happening in the room".. At the same time, Marco was very kind to assure us that he will help us to change room by speaking in detail with his lady supervisor. We felt pity for Marco as he has to explain how critical the termite situation is happening in our room. Thereafter only she was being “convince” by the serious level of the situation and allow us to change another room. A big thanks to Marco and he is a real asset to the company. We hope the management able to see the real talent of this man - Marco whom has the management talent level to run a hospitality industry

Review 18：The staff were really good! I was sick while I was staying in this resort. Because I didn't have any medicine with me. So I phoned them to ask for medicine. They were so kind and took care of me. I had an excellent experience there!

Review 19：The bathroom water pressure was so bad, and no hot water, even though i made complaint but the water still so slow. The water got the stain taste and i felt so un-hygienic once you use the tap water to brush teeth or bath.

Review 20：The bed was so comfy and the room with aircond and tv. The resort with buffet breakfast and the surrounding area was so quiet and comfortable seat on the beach to let us lay on it during night time to watch stars on the sky.

Review 41：Service is totally bad-- check-in waiting over an hour, room is dirty and located near the hotel construction area for swimming pool which is full of dust, air con is broken and must call owner to take actions when all staff are uncapable to manage, breakfast space is not sufficient for all guests, dishes and glasses are simply cleaned by hands without heat equipment to dry and kill germ, showering is under poor system, lighting in the room is not enough, sink in the toilet is broken, staff are under performed as they couldnt give answer on real time and always creating mistakes-- wrong food from an order, miscalculation price for diving. On top of that, there is garbage right side of the hotel property-- from the construction and daily garbage. I would not go back and during reservation, they even suggested to cancel booking with booking.com and they will upgrade the room with same cost-- not to charge cancellation fee. In the conclusions, this hotel is under standard--

Review 45：The staff was rude and not helpful and some didnt understand any English.Got the feeling that they were just trying to sell you their own services (restaurant facilities etc) rather than giving genuine information about the island.there were a lot of stray dogs running around the facilities.In the bathroom there was a huge whole on the wall.even a dog could have come in.you have no privacy in the room as the bungalows are like boxes in a row and three of the four walls are glass windows.there are a lot of longtail boats parked just in front of the place and they make terrible noise.terribly loud disturbing music at the restaurant-bar. It is extremely overpriced for what it is.

Review 46：Too expensive. It is not value for money. Very very poor breakfast (everyday are same and nothing interesting) Hard to connect to wi-fi. Bathroom is not quite clean (toilet cover doesn't work) and the bedroom light is so dark (some has cool white and some has warm white). Safe box is not working as well.

Review 48：We were given a room on a building site and charged£120 it was a complete disgrace. The decor was basic and not worth the price. Don't stay here if you can go next door to idylic it is much better we stayed there too

Review 52：WiFi is not that good. Our room didn't provide mosquito net, which is a MUST! And every hotel we stayed in provided it. I could see that some rooms at the resort provided it, but ours not. The restaurant at the resort is quite expensive and not that good, there are better options outside.

Review 53：The location is great, is right on sunrise beach, which is a great beach. Once you arrive in the boat to Koh Lipe there are Staff from the hotel on the beach offering free transfer to the resort. And once you check out they also provide free transfer to your return boat. Facilities are good and staff is friendly.

Review 54：Rooms were really dark. Needs more lights. The resort is clearly under construction so was rather messy but should be lovely once completed. Was rather expensive compare to everywhere else in Thailand especially as it wasn't a completed resort. Breakfast wasn't great either but no where seems to do a goo one!

Review 55：Location smack bang on sunrise beach is beautiful. Lipe is so small it only takes 5mins to walk to the main strip of walking street. So nice to roll out of bed and onto the beach.

Review 56：The hotel was not completed. Our bungalow was located just beside the building area. We had no hot water in the bathroom and no light on the porch. For three days we kept asking them to fix the hot water. On the forth night they finally fixed it but only temporary, the next morning there wasn't any hot water again. After a lot of complaining we got a small reduction of the price. But they still didn't seem to be sorry at all for our inconvenience. Since it's a quite expensive resort we were expecting a lot better service.

Review 57：It was a nice room, and the resort will probably be nice when it's finished.

Review 58：For several days the Wifi didn't work and had to go to Reception for a weak slow signal. The hot water constantly went off, after 3-4 times complaining we realised it wasn't going to get fixed and saw that it was the hot water boiler on the side of the bungalow that trips out. In the end, every time we wanted a shower, I went and switched it on myself. The resort is also currently under construction, they are building new bungalows and a swimming pool It will be lovely again when it is completed but just now, it takes something away from the place. Because there is a lot of construction going on, there are a lot of workers and the staff live in the resort so you get the feeling it is their home and so they are really relaxed and you don't get the feeling they are there to look after you sometimes, complete opposite to the Idylic Resort next door, where we went a lot for dinner and drinks, it's very modern and contemporary resort, but the staff and facilities are the finished article. The location is great but there are not enough sunbeds with umbrellas on the small beach area by the resort.

Review 59：Completely opposite feel from Idylic next door, (from what we could gather from the whole Island, Anda and Idylic are both the best resorts on the island). Idylic is modern and contemporary but Anda although modern and has all the comforts have gone for the more rustic look and feel of beach huts which we liked. It's in a great location, nice part of the island and a good beach, very short walk to everything. Rooms are lovely, romantic and have everything you need, Wifi (when it finally came on line in the second week) was good. The upstairs rooms are better and cost more, but we stayed in both up and down and when you are downstairs you can hear those above like baby elephants running around the place. Not that you will be in the room much, the island is beautiful with amazing beaches, quiet but developed enough to have everything, many restaurants and bars to choose from on 3 beaches. Sunrise (where Anda is), Sunset (pretty quiet and smallest of them all) and Pattaya beach (the liveliest one) all linked with a main street which resembles a high street through the centre of the island where everything is. The staff although very laid back and casual in their manner are helpful and very nice.

Review 62：Stayed there for 6 nights. Irregularity and late in cleaning rooms - never knew when housekeeping would be there and the latest they got there was around 4pm one day. Forgot to provide drinking water, hygienic articles and toilet paper now and again (probably too much focus on the creative towel arrangements). Breakfast buffet OK, but cooked dishes that were not cooked right there were served cold - they should make sure they were held warm. Could also have had some more western options on the buffet. Rooms not soundproof, you could overhear everything and even hold a conversation with the persons in the room below/above without raising your voice. A large part of the site was a building site. Reservation said this would have been completed by year-end, but it wasn't. Walkway to walking street behind resort was completely dark, litter all over the place and with stray dogs surprising you in the dark as you came back at night. It needs to be lit up and cleaned, at least.

Review 66：The resort is a construction site. There's literally a dump on the backyard. The service and the breakfast was poor, the personnel not very friendly. In Our room (standard room), you could hear every sound from the neighbours, the actually woke us up several times at night by just walking around. The other, more expensive, rooms constisting of independent bungalows, had large windows on 3 out of 4 walls which made them extremely easy to look in to so they were not better. Conclusion: considering the price, we were not happy.

Review 67：Most other resorts on Lipe were fully booked, so we were left with Anda Resort. The place had its' upsides. But Unfortunately, the price was not motivated. Postitive: The room was clean. The bed was comfortable, the view and the beach outside were beautiful.

Review 72：The way to Walking Street is dark so you need to bring a flashlight with you and don't forget to buy some snack to keep it in the room when you are hungry in the middle of the night because supermarket and shop are far from the resort.

Review 73：Anda Resort is a special place for our memories. We got engaged at Anda Resort in the early morning when we were looking at the sun rise. Our villa is located nearby the beach so you can walk to the beach in a few minutes. White sand and so crystal clear water and it's nice for who like to take it easy, relax, privacy and romantic like us. :) The room is perfect with king size bed and mosquito net. It's very cozy
