Review 1：Just quite basic but fine if you are not looking for anything amazing - the scenery provides that for you instead. No safe in rooms though so had to put valuables in the main hotel safe which became a bit annoying each time you wanted to take money out. Had a slight ant problem in one of our rooms also and the other was next to the kitchen so v noisy

Review 4：I came back again to Bella Vista Hotel for the New Year and it was lovely. The staff is lovely and we spent the NY eve together with a free barbecue arranged by the hotel staff. Location on Pattaya beach is great and if you choose a room with sea view is the top. I love Koh Lipe! When you are there don't miss to go to the Elephant bar in the Walking Street.
Review 5：All the good hotels had a boat which picks you up from the ferry, we had to pay for a taxi boat and nobody showed us the hotel. We booked a standard room, it was horrible. All the standard rooms are dirty and really loud at night because of the really bad doors and drunk people every night. We complained about the dirty room but the staff was not interrested giving us another room. The terrasse in front of the hotel serves bad food und the service is bad. Breakfast is poor. We have both travelled alot and have seen alot of small and non-luxury hotels but the bella vista is really not recommended. Look for another hotel on the opposide of the island, there are less tourists and the beach is alot more beautifull there.

Review 10：Seaside is a lot of small stone , a lot of dog is surrounding this resort . No matter is inside the restaurant having your meal or relaxing on the seaside, the dog is always beside you . Is almost 7-10 big dog . Have the management consider the cleaness issue and people who scared of pets ?

Review 12：No fridge in rooms.There is an open area next to the resort. When we were there 3 boatloads of thai people arrived and set up a disco/party on this area. They woke us up every morning and kept us awake at night with load music.the peace and tranquility of koh lipe was destroyed.we travelled a long way and payed a lot of money to get there. I would not risk this happening again. Stay at the other end of the beach.

Review 16：We booked a Beach Villa for 8 nights, checked in the first night and reception told us they we over booked. We ended up with a cheaper room first night. After asking 3 times we received 50% of the price difference in the room rate as a refund. Breakfast was the worst I have ever had at a hotel, boiled ham and chicken nuggets. If you didn't not get there at 7:30am when Breakfast opened, everything was cold by 8am

Review 18：When I ask for a middle price pavilion in person (I checked availabilty in advance online) they tried to cheat me and said it's just the luxury bungalow available. so I booked it online sitting in front of the reception. Even when I mentioned that I'm wondering about that information because online is something available they didn't say anything. I ask to see the room before booking. What I got to see was one of the staff's rooms in the back house to persuade me to take the higher category. It took about 10 min to see the correct room. When I checked the room I touched the toilet seat which was totally damaged and really really disgusting and needed to be replaced. Also the bed linens were dirty so pleased them to change. They did it very fast and after it was ok. But those things should be seen by the house keeping before the guest enter the room????! The breakfast was typically for the islands but unfortunately all a bit shabby and not really clean. The staff seemed to be bugged by the guests especially the helpers. I felt uncomfortable and observed. I shortened my stay from 2 to 1 night. No recommendation from my side. When I checked out 20 Chinese people checked in, the hotel seems to be attractive for these culture. Also the whole sunset beach.
Review 19：If you get a renovated pavilion it's maybe ok for 2 nights. The matress is hard as common in Asia but comfortable to sleep. The hotel is directly at the sunset beach with crystal clear turquoise water.

Review 42：The boottrip to the island was terrible due to severe storm and rain. We arrived in the hotel and the staff was not friendly at all. They just asked for our passports and that's it. We booked a room with sea-view and balcony. However, we got a room with no sea-view and balcony. There is so much trash in front of the resort and a lot of dogs running through the restaurant as well. Not relaxing at all! In the evening we went for a walk through the walkingstreet. However, after 8 pm we were not able anymore to reach the hotel due to high tide. We could saw the people sitting at the reception and asked for help but they didn't do anything and just let us walk the whole way back in the dark and in the rain. It was terrible. Worst hotel experience ever.
Review 43：The mattress was one of the best that we had in Thailand. We preferred 1 bed in stead of 2 seperated beds. They were directly able to put the 2 beds together.
Review 44：The standard room doesn't fit the description. Ocean views are indirect through a lateral window facing the hotel next door, at the time of our visit full with construction workers. There's no balcony nor terrace (rather a public access external corridor to access the room). Shower handle was broken and hot water worked only one of the three mornings we spent in the hotel. The room doesn't have a fridge and the wardrobe is located in the bathroom.

Bella Vista should consider putting night light by the beach, beside beach chairs, so that the hotel customers can enjoy their night by the beach. More tv channels with english subtitle/language should be provided, because not all hotel customers are from Thailand.
